A sweet old homestead. The host was very easy to communicate with. This was our 5th year and she is consistently wonderful.The location is far enough away to feel unplugged from the rat race but close enough to a Walmart to make last minute needs easy.

The place was so cute and reminiscent of a country farm house. Our host was so sweet and we had the best time. Our dogs loved going out in the back fenced yard and seeing the wildlife was an added bonus.

Most peaceful property ever! The host responded quickly to questions before and during my stay.This quaint house has everything needed - kitchen well appointed, comfy beds with quilts, robes, great recliner, wonderful porch, views of beautiful mountains. Clean- spotless! A perfect getaway to rest and recharge .I’ll be back.

This is the third time staying at this property. I thought it was about time for me to leave a review. My husband and I, along with our 2 dogs, absolutely love this property. It’s nice, cute, totally functional in the kitchen- we were able to cook and bake with all appliances and dish ware being available. The backyard has Mountain views and alot of room for our dogs to explore. We were so close to some of our favorites being the Greenbriar trails, Good Roads Bakery and Alfredo’s Pizza.it was truly home away from home, and that’s why we have already booked another stay! Highly recommend!!!

The host is very responsive to any messages. The home was clean and had everything you needed. The area is fantastic, so close to everything but still has privacy. We rode the greenbrier rail trail and had a fantastic time. Definitely going back.

Cute house with a view

We enjoyed our stay. The place is cute. The porch view is amazing. We brought our daughter and dogs. They really enjoyed the place. The fenced back yard was convenient. Theres plenty to do in the area. Higly recommend!

Simple place with all you need

This little country home is plain, clean and comfortable./, and it is just a short drive to Lewisburg. The view out the front window calms the soul, and the fenced yard is a wonderful amenity for those of us traveling with a dog. We would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Perfect

Perfect is the best way to describe my stay. The house was clean. The owner was extremely nice and helpful. The views were amazing from the house. Can't wait to go back.

Nice Quiet Location

I stayed for a few days here as time to get away from all the noise. It was a peaceful little property with all the amenities I needed and was close to stores. Downtown Lewisburg was adorable. I’d definitely recommend for anyone looking for a quiet little property.

Our third year

Still a sweet spot out of the way yet close enough to restaurants and a Walmart! Love the view from the kitchen window. The owner is super easy to communicate with.

Quiet and quaint

The view from the porch was beautiful. You feel tucked away from the world but town is a short trip. Lots of options for food and shopping. This was our second stay and we were not disappointed. Communication with the owner is very good.

A slice of "almost heaven" in WV

The house and property were perfect! Quiet, peaceful, spectacular views. Great walks with historic chapel nearby. Huge kitchen, huge front porch, fenced in yard for our little doggie where she played with fireflies every evening. Terrific experience!

Quiet and beautiful

Totally positive! Clean and ready for our arrival. Exactly as advertised. A quiet country house near Lewisberg and the Greenbriar where we were attending a convention during the day. Highly recommend to those visiting the area.

Nice old country home

We were staying in the area to visit Lewisburg for the chocolate festival as well as some of the outdoor activities available such as spelunking. This is an older country home with its charm, including a non working outhouse! I really liked it because it kept us out of the busyness of downtown Lewisburg and gave me some great opportunities for some nice pictures!

Relaxing weekend

Melanie has a precious home in a beautiful corner of West Virginia. The porch over looks rolling hills with grazing cows and she had everything we needed in the home to cook, watch movies etc. thanks again!!
