La Casa: Casa se completó en Ene de 2008. Todos los pisos tienen calefacción por suelo radiante. Todos los aparatos son nuevos. Dos garaje con abridores de garaje eléctrica. La remoción de nieve será manejado por el camino de entrada, pero el arrendatario será responsable de la limpieza de la nieve en el porche ático.

Gorgeous house. Wonderful hosts. Spectacular views. Zero stress. Fantastic location. My family and I stayed here for three months and made memories of a lifetime. We can’t wait to return.

Fantastic home in beautiful location

I stayed for 4 months in this home overlooking the Ashokan Reservoir near Woodstock. The location, views, and amenities were all superior. The house itself is beautiful, the location idyllic, and furnishings very comfortable. The grounds are amazing, and lovingly cared for. The owners are incredibly kind and responsive. This is their home, not a rental property, and comes with all the comforts. A hot tub with a breathtaking view is the icing on the cake. I would most highly recommend this home and the owners as superb.

Amazing place to unwind

My wife and I needed a retreat with clear views & quiet after a very stressful weeks of intense creative productions. This house was It. The hosts Cindy and Tom were available and made sure we had everything we needed and more. The space is modern, clean and cozy at the same time. The views ,through the floor to ceiling windows , of the reservoir; spectacular. We highly recommend this beautiful home and look forward to coming back soon.

Spacious getaway

We will want to return. What a wonderful property. Close enough to shops and resteraunts, but far enough to be secluded. View is great.

Great house & property, amazing views!

This rental couldn't have been better for us! The gardens and views are spectacular, the grounds are very private. We entertained my elderly in-laws for dinner most nights anad the dishes and tableware were plentiful and the kitchen very user friendly. It was very convient to have a garage. If there are more than one couple staying, be aware that there is no master bath. The second full bath is on the garage level which does have Murphy beds. This was not an issue for us but worth noting for 2 couples. The view from the hot tub is amazing. The hosts are very easy to communicate with aand were very helpful. The virtual tour at the beginning of our stay was helpful. We hope to stay again!

Mountain top paradise!

This home and property is stunning, clean and well stocked; the hot tub and gardens are the icing on the cake! It’s completely private and close enough to Woodstock for dining and activities and to the reservoir and trails for the best nature has to offer. Best property we ever stayed at in 13 years of vacation rentals! After this, we wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else. Even in the rain, it was wonderful. The owners are beyond helpful, generous and friendly. We felt very welcomed. Highly recommend in any season!

Beautiful view and relaxing

Had an amazing time with our kids. The owner was responsive ahead of the trip, walked us through everything when we arrived, and checked in to see how things were going when we arrived. Definitely a trip for folks looking for calm and beautiful views.

Relaxing getaway

We really enjoyed our stay at the house. It was clean and decorated beautifully. One of the nicest things was the spectacular view from every window. We loved taking in that beautiful view of the reservoir and the mountains, possibly the nicest view we ever had from a vacation home! The hot tub on the roof (overlooking the mountains) was so relaxing, the icing on the cake! Also the large tv with so much to watch (Disney +, Netflix, etc etc) was a great bonus. Tom was very helpful showing us around when we arrived and offering us anything we needed. Thanks for a lovely winter getaway!

We stayed here for New Year’s weekend and the house is phenomenal. Everything you need for your stay and the views and property surroundings are 10/10. Tom and Cindy were easy to communicate with and made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend and hope to visit again in the future!

Great House

My wife and I were looking for a relaxing way to spend Christmas quarantined after the long year that was 2020. Cindy and Tom were so helpful. They did everything they could to make our stay great. They even got us a Christmas tree at our request and a fire pit for roasting mashmellows. This home was just great. The Hot tub on the roof with its amazing view was a wonderful way to end the day. You’ll love it if you’re looking for a secluded place to relax.

This place has been on my favorites board for awhile. The pictures do not do it justice. My husband is an amateur photographer and we wanted to hit fall color which is always iffy but we did it. This place sits up above the Ashokan Reservoir. The view from the front of the house was brightly colored tress and the the water of the reservoir. The trees continue out back with many short trails to walk the dogs and just revel in the nature surrounding you. There is a 3rd floor hot tub that has got to be in the best place imaginable. The beauty and the peace sitting up on that deck is indescribable. I could not even get my dogs to come off of it. It was a perfect place to just forget about everything except the majesty surrounding us. They also had a vegetable garden and we were told to help ourselves. The gardens surrounding the house were also beautiful even in late fall. Flowers remained as did some of the grasses. The house itself was immaculate and well stocked though Woodstock was only a few minutes away if you needed something. They texted us daily to make sure that we did not need anything. I really cannot thank them enough for sharing this place and very importantly allowing us to bring our dogs.

This was a great little getaway. Wonderful views of the reservoir from the living room! It was cozy and well-stocked. No lack of creature comforts. Tom was a great host and checked in on us every morning. Recommend this place highly!

Into the Woods

My girlfriends and I had a wonderful time this weekend. The house is perfect and has an amazing view. Gardens are well maintained as well as the rest of the property. Woodstock is close by if you’d like to shop or go out to dinner. Cindy checked up on us to make sure everything was ok. I highly recommend this house~especially because of the privacy and hot tub on the top floor.❤️

Hated to leave...

When my wife and I take a vacation, we look for places that are clean, comfortable, are in an interesting location, and most importantly, away from the chaos of big crowds, tourist attractions and commercialism. This place certainly checks all of those boxes and more. We've used VRBO for every vacation we've taken for over 10 years. Usually, we're happy with most aspects of the rentals but there's always something about them that doesn't quite meet our expectations. The view might be great, but the furniture isn't very comfortable. The location is perfect, but the hot tub is a let down, or the grill is a mess, or the air conditioning is not up to the task, etc... Nothing that ruins the stay, but always some little issue that takes the shine off of the property. Not so here. Everything about this property met or exceeded our expectations. The owner met us on arrival and gave us a very thorough tour of the house and property, offered some tips on local activities and made us feel right at home. The property is simply beautiful, the house is very comfortable and the view of the reservoir is simply stunning. The pictures do not do it justice. The sunsets are epic, the night skies are incredible , the quiet is amazing. The hot tub is not huge, but perfect for two people. It's location on the rooftop deck offers the best view from a hot tub we've had. Within an hour of our arrival we were surprised to see several bald eagles gliding around overhead, and hummingbirds feeding in the garden. As we travel with our dog, the choices for pet friendly rental properties are understandably smaller, and we get that we may have to compromise on some amenities to accommodate taking the dog along. Not here. I'm happy to say that the dog had a great time also! This place provided us with one of, if not the best VRBO experiences we've had. Yeah, we'll be going back. Highly recommended for anyone that's looking for peace, quiet, and beautiful natural surroundings without giving up modern conveniences and comfort.

The house, property, and views were beyond expectations

Book this house if you can! My friends and I stayed here for a brief respite from New York City, and we loved every minute. The hosts had a friend greet us and show us everything we needed to know, and made sure we had everything we needed. They were also readily available via text when we had questions. The house is stunning and clean, and the views are unparalleled. We spent most of our time lounging in the grass by day, sitting around the outdoor dining area (using provided blankets when it got chilly), and most importantly, relaxing in the hot tub. I’ve never seen a house with a more perfectly located hot tub. The stars were magnificent. My friends and I enjoy cooking, and we found everything we needed to celebrate my birthday with a delicious feast in a modern and well-appointed kitchen. The bathrooms have fabulous showers and the large tub off the master was enjoyed for moments of private relaxation. I would highly recommend this property and hope to return soon!
