My family and I enjoyed our stay and were more than pleased with the home. It was very accommodating for our needs, especially for our 8 month old as it included a high chair and other baby things. The bathroom was very well stocked and extra sheets for the beds were available, including cleaning supplies. The only thing i disliked was how fast traffic traveled on the hwy, making it a little nerve racking pulling out on to the road. Definitely do not want to back out of the driveway. Other than that it was great and would definitely come back!

Perfect Spot

The house and its setting make it a wonderful place to stay, relax, and enjoy the wonderful Pennsylvania countryside! I would highly recommend it to anyone wanting to be just a bit off the busy path but close enough to everything they need!

Wonderful stay

We had a great vacation at Safe Harbor House! It was a quiet and clean house. Centrally located for all we wanted to do. We felt right at home!!!

Wonderful Rural Location

We loved staying in this house for our road trip. It was in a perfect location for our day trips to Philadelphia and the Amish Country. Very nice

Wonderful stay!

This property is exactly as listed! The owner was very responsive to any questions we had and even left a treat for us to enjoy! Beds were comfortable as well and the view was spectacular in the backyard!

Comfortable House.

We had an excellent stay, house is very clean, you'll find whatever you'll need, area is very quiet, & we liked the privacy. backyard has a beautiful view, & host was very nice to us. I'd give it a 5 star!

Cozy retreat

The house was absolutely beautiful and cozy. The backyard is expansive with a serene view. It was really peaceful to wake up to! Hershey and Lancaster are both nearby for daytime attractions and the nearby trails/parks were great for the kids.

Felt like home

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The home was well-appointed, clean, and inviting. It felt like home to our small family of three generations. Extra touches like a local treat and holiday decorations were icing on the cake. We appreciate all the hospitality from the hosts.

Great spot for a weekend getaway

The house had everything we needed and was clean and cozy. The backyard is great for sitting out in the evenings. Convenient location to Lancaster and lots of hiking and parks. Tom was easy to communicate with and even left a little treat for us when we arrived. We would definitely stay at Safe Harbor House again!

35th Anniversary weekend stay

The home was, very clean. The host had a nice lil welcome gift and note. They have a binder with information of what is in the area. Gorgeous backyard with a fire pit. Will definitely stay again, should we come back again to visit.

Presidents’ Day getaway

We come to Lancaster about 2-3 times a year! We loved the Safe Harbor house so much that we didn’t want to leave. We planned on laying low and enjoying the house and property and we did just that. Living in the hustle and bustle of Queens, NY we throughly enjoyed the confort and relaxation of this home. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Amazing house just as listed!

Thank you for sharing this home with our family! It was a perfect size to accommodate all 4 of us. We enjoyed the fire pit and the grill! The lightening bug show was fanrastic. They really lit up the backyard and field. We were within an hours drive of Hershey, Lancaster and just over an hour from Gettysburg. Overall it was a win for us!

A short stop on Birthday trip

The house was nice and very clean, bed was very comfortable. There was a camera in the back yard pointing towards the house which is not mentioned anywhere that I saw, so that threw me offguard, the neighbors are also very close. The view off the back porch and out of the kitchen window is very pretty and relaxing.

Just Right

Check n was a cinch, & the accomodations were adequate. There was plenty of kitchen appliances & accessories. The fire pit was a hit! There was dry firewood n the shed & plenty of sticks behind the shed. We had some trouble w the remotes but that's not why we came! Great stay!

Exceptional rural get-away

Our family stayed at this wonderful property while attending a weekend event at Millersville University. It was a quick ten minute drive to Millersville and offered a peaceful, rural setting which was perfect for relaxing at the end of a long day. The views are exceptional and we enjoyed watching the birds and many deer grazing in the back field in the early morning and evenings. The patio area allowed us to enjoy a fire on a couple of evenings. The firefly show was amazing each night and to our surprise, there were NO MOSQUITOES (unlike home!). The house exceeded our expectations. It was very clean and well laid out and we appreciated the availability of a full size washer and dryer. The kind note and welcome gift as well as the informative binder and books about the area were all thoughtful gestures by the homeowners that really made us feel at home. We would most definitely book again should we ever be back in the area. Thank you for a wonderful and memorable stay.

Peaceful. Quiet. Home away from home. Family friendly

Thank you for allowing us to stay in your home! It is such a beautiful location! The view from the backyard is very pretty. The house is FULLY stocked- perfect to fit the needs of our family. I (mom) was as happy as my kids to find all of the toys in the closet! The kitchen was also well stocked. We enjoyed making some meals over the fire pit and relaxing in the back yard. We were pleasantly surprised to see the park that was only .5 mile from this house. We had fun looking at the recommended restaurants and places to go in the homebook and was excited to try a few new restaurants and take our girls to a few new places. The sweet treat and card that was waiting for us when we arrived was very nice! It was also very convenient to be able to do a load of laundry while staying here! The tile in the bathroom is beautiful! I love the neutral color scheme of the house, very peaceful. We enjoyed a variety of the kcups that were provided. So many good things to say about the Safe Harbor House, but I don't want to tire your eyes! Haha! We would love to stay here again. Thanks, Jared, Rebecca, Melia and Moriah
