Fabulous studio/suite with private entrance and large private patio. Plush comfortable queen size bed, large bathroom feels like you’re taking shower st outdoors. 42" TV, highest speed internet WIFI.Kitchenette, small refrigerator with freezer, microwave, air dryer toaster combo oven outside kitchen area. Fully equipped with dishes, coffee maker, coffee and tea provided. Beautiful private patio with fire pit/BBQ for your enjoyment and relaxation. Studio is attached to the main house, has a wall in between and has a separate entrance. We use the garage for our entrance so you have your privacy. Washer and dryer available. Quiet, family friendly neighborhood. Only 5 minutes drive to downtown Santa Barbara, less than a mile to Montecito. About 1.3 miles walk to beach,
Close to 101 freeway, short drive to beach, restaurants, and across the street to park and tennis courts with pickle ball. City bike rentals one block away. Off street parking for one car. P.S. there is some freeway noise outside but very minimal inside. Please no Smoking inside or the patio.

Fatima was easy to communicate with. Pillows very comfortable, but bed was quite soft on the sides (firmer in the middle). Quiet, even though very close to 101 Freeway (think "white noise"). During booking, VRBO map gave only a general neighborhood location. Not until just before check-in was a more accurate location revealed, and it was several hundred yards from the "house" logo on the VRBO map. (Maybe that's on me, as a relative VRBO newbie, but I felt a little misled by VRBO.) As mentioned in other reviews, step-down shower could be a problem for some (ok for me). Bedroom needs better ventilation, IMO. Leaving sliding glass door open at night didn't seem like a solution.

Convenient, quiet house

Comfy and cute. Appreciated the snacks and water and fresh cut flowers. Extra blankets, pillows, and towels easy to find. Good communication with Fatima. I will echo what others have said about the shower as I was glad someone had previously reviewed and mentioned it so I could make my own decision- it is about 18-24 inches down without a safe way to step in and a large picture window which is uncovered. I had a plan to make that all work for me. There is no other option to shower otherwise. It may impact your decision to stay here. Having said that, I would still stay here again. Cute shops and yummy restaurants close by. search for Miramar and Butterfly beaches for off the beaten path areas to beachcomb. Thanks Fatima!

Economical and Well Located

This property was clean and had the basics but best of all was located close to Montecito and the beach in Santa Barbara. It is close to the freeway but the noise isn't overwhelming.

Wonderful

For as close to a major freeway the studio was very quiet.The only complaint I have was that the bathroom sinkwas very slow to drain.

Clean, Welcoming, Restful, Little Apartment

I found this place to be a very clean, welcoming, private little apartment, and for me an oasis after a long road trip. It is a relatively small space, but is creatively organized.The main living space is dominated by a large comfortable bed suitable for a single or married couple. It is adjacent to a small sitting area with two comfortable chairs and a small coffee table. It has a small refrigerator, microwave oven, and a coffee maker, with the hostess providing coffee and tea materials. There is a small sink, think wet bar size, and cupboards with dishes and cups. There is a largish, closable closet for hanging clothes and storing luggage. Off the main space is a relatively large bathroom. Soaps, shampoo, and lotions are provided. Compared to the size of the main room the bathroom is quit large, but it has one unusual feature. In order to use the shower, one must step down about two feet below the level of the bathroom floor. However it works fine, but may be a problem for someone with limited mobility. There is no regular eating table in the apartment, but two high quality TV tables are provided. However, just outside the entrance is an enclosed, private patio, which does include a table and chairs. It is a good place to be in good weather. Electronically, it provides a good quality TV, with a lot of program options. Its internet/wifi is also quite good. My one serious complaint is that it lacks good electrical outlet access in the sitting area and night stand areas.

Nice, cozy spot in a prime location for visiting Santa Barbara. Easy access to Montecito in one direction, Santa Barbara beach area in the other. Very reasonably priced, a plus!

Wonderful spot!

Would highly recommend this property, super close to Montecito & B Cycle station is steps from the place so we literally biked our way around town all weekend! Fatima is lovely & super responsive, the place itself is awesome & perfect for a long weekend getaway (we flew in from CO to go to a show at SB Bowl), highly recommend & will definitely be back!! Great find!

I had a wonderful 4-night stay. Fatima’s studio was perfect for my needs. The pictures were accurate, and the AC & reserved parking spot were key to my great experience. The studio is a super quick drive to East Beach and close to all that Santa Barbara has to offer. I highly recommend this place and would definitely stay there again.

Wonderful host

The bedroom was exceptionally tidy and well-organized, situated in a favorable location. Fatima ensured our stay was pleasant and cozy, even providing us with the option to use beach chairs and an umbrella, which was ideal for the sunny Santa Barbara weather. The proximity to Montecito and a short drive from State Street adds to its convenience.

Lovely stay

Fatima was so kind and accommodating. She even let us do laundry! She was a great host with the perfect combination of checking in and offering ample privacy. The location was wonderful for exploring Santa Barbara, visiting Goleta, Lotusland, and Chanel Islands, and attending a wedding in Carpinteria. The studio had everything we needed, was clean, and private. Parking was very handy. We would definitely choose this property again! Thank you for the nice stay!

Wonderful stay

I had a wonderful three night stay. It was true to the pictures and was a clean, relaxing place. Fatima is a wonderful host and was quick to respond to questions. The parking spot & A/C were great bonuses. The a/c would rarely be needed, as the screen door onto the patio with the fountain was perfect. I highly recommend this cute place and I would stay there again.
