Summary:

Enjoy staying in the heart of Saint-Germain-des-Prés with this modern 2-bedroom apartment located on the ground floor of a secure residential building — NO LIFT. Self check-in from 3:00 PM by collecting keys at a nearby location. Wi-Fi is available, great for both work and leisure. A refundable damage deposit is required.



The Space:

Welcome to this modern 42 m² 2-bedroom apartment on the ground floor of a building without a lift, perfectly situated on rue des Grands Augustins in the heart of Saint-Germain-des-Prés. The apartment is professionally cleaned before every arrival so you can settle in straight away.



Bedroom 1: 1 double bed, Bedroom 2: 1 double bed. The bathroom has a shower and toilet.



The living area is a great space to unwind, with a smart tv (flat screen) and dining table and chairs.



The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need: full fridge, oven, microwave, stove, dishwasher, Cookworks coffee machine, and electric kettle and toaster. A combination washer-dryer is available for your convenience. The flat has electric heating throughout the cooler months.

Good to know before you book



Check-in: From 3:00 PM via self check-in — simply collect the keys at a nearby location. If you’re arriving after 7:00 PM and need someone to meet you with the keys, please let us know at least 24 hours in advance. Late arrivals between 7:00–9:59 PM incur a €50 fee; 10:00 PM–12:59 AM is €90; after 1:00 AM is €120. We’re flexible when we can be — just give us a heads-up!



Check-out: By 10:00 AM.



Damage deposit: A refundable damage deposit of €800 is required before arrival. It may be processed via a third-party payment provider such as Stripe, Swikly, or Flywire. The deposit is returned in full within 14 days of check-out following a standard inspection.



Max guests: 4 people (including children and infants). Please keep within this limit so everyone is comfortable.



Smoking: The apartment is non-smoking throughout.



Events: The apartment is a private home and not suitable for parties or events.



Guest Access:

The accommodation is private and exclusively for guests during their stay. Free Wi-Fi connection, information on Paris and restaurant recommendations, sheets, towels, soaps and much more.



The Neighborhood:

The 6th arrondissement — Saint-Germain-des-Prés — is one of Paris’s most elegant and intellectually rich neighbourhoods. Once the home of Hemingway, Sartre, and Simone de Beauvoir, the area still retains a refined bohemian character: the famous Café de Flore and Les Deux Magots are here, alongside excellent bookshops, art galleries, and a superb food market on Rue de Buci. The Luxembourg Gardens are a short stroll away, and the Seine, the Louvre, and Notre-Dame are all within comfortable walking distance.

Wi-Fi may occasionally be affected by area-wide connectivity issues. Please note a noise monitoring device is installed at the property entrance for extra security and to ensure the peace of the property. This device is not located in any sleeping area or bathroom. Photos are as accurate as possible — minor updates may not always be reflected immediately. Management may occasionally need access to the property for inspection, maintenance or viewings (between 8:00 AM and 7:00 PM with reasonable notice). In genuine emergencies, access may be required without prior notice. We’ll always communicate as much as possible and be respectful of your stay.

Our group of three adults stayed here in late May 2026 during a Paris heatwave. Thanks to the provided fans and lack of direct sunlight, the indoor temperature stayed comfortable. The location was excellent, within easy walking distance of bus/metro stops and major attractions. However, please note that one bedroom faces the street and experiences significant noise from trash trucks, even in the early morning.Before arrival, I noticed the unit had no initial reviews, followed by a very low rating that appeared after my cancellation window closed. Management assured me via VRBO messaging platform that the unit would be professionally cleaned and any issues resolved immediately. Unfortunately, the cleanliness fell far short of professional standards. To protect our damage deposit, I documented the conditions with photos. The bathroom was the most concerning area, featuring visible mold and mildew on the shower curtain, walls, and floors. Additionally, the bathroom sink is so tiny and narrow that it is unusable for anything but hand-washing; we had to use the kitchen sink. While the communication team was highly responsive, their actual assistance was limited. They repeatedly stated they were waiting for updates from upper management. They replaced the shower curtain the next day but refused to send a cleaning crew, dismissing the uncleanliness as "normal wear and tear." Given the high price paid, I cannot recommend this place. I would not stay again at this property.

Location and communication with an international reservation company were good. Key box pickup from a side street market difficult to manoeuvre, followed by a 20 minute walk with carry-on suitcases against tourist traffic. The courtyard is lovely, maybe stables in a prior life? Ground floor apartment was accurate, but 3 steps up to unlock the first door, one-person landing to unlock the 2nd door and 3 steps down to unlock a 3rd door. The beds were uncomfortable, to the point we vacated a day early to sleep at a hotel. The bedding and towels were clean. The first shower of the day didn’t drain and wasn’t noticed until the water escaped the bathroom. The reservation company responded immediately and a repair technician was sent the next day to successfully fix it. There was no body wash supplied, and barely a squeeze of dish soap, no dish cloth, nor drying cloth. The radiators didn’t function, but two heaters with broken casters gave us some heat. There was no rug and the couch was not what appeared in the photos. The furnishings appeared to be from a charity shop. The area has a lot of restaurants and garbage is collected every morning (early), which keeps the surrounding area clean. A steep damage deposit was required, with communication that it would be refunded upon checkout. It was a 14 day minimum wait, and we had to follow up on the reimbursement. The apartment has a lot of character and potential and investing in it would make it an ideal accommodation.

The apartment is lovely; however, you should be aware they do not provide soap, shampoo, or an iron and there were only two coffee cups. If you have more than two people there are not enough.
