Perfect Beach Getaway

The cottage was perfectly located minutes from the beach! Even though the weather was not perfect we enjoyed all that York has to offer. Comfortable and clean, the cottage had everything we needed to relax. We would definitely stay there again!

The area is beautiful. Very quick walk to the beach, restaurants. The gas heater didn't work but owner brought us two little electric heaters.

Lovely in cottage in great location

The 2 bedroom cottage was perfect for a week’s stay near family. Convenient location in York, allowed us to visit with family there & in Windham. Easy travel for day trips to Portland, Portsmouth, NH & Boston, MA. Short walk to Long Sands beach, longer walk to Short Sands beach - shops & restaurants in both locations. Great deck for enjoying Maine summers!

PERFECT HOME AWAY FROM HOME

Super clean and modern with EXTREMELY comfortable bed and we have a tempurpedic so traveling and sleeping can be traumatic! York is one on my favorite places on Earth with gracious smiling business owners and happy homeowners that go out of their way to ensure your place is perfect!

Perfect vacation

We went up to Maine for a wedding decide to make a week of it. The cottage was cute, clean . We had everything we needed, which was fantastic. Paul answered all questions promptly. Location to the beach and town was perfect. We will definitely be back

Great stay!

We had a great stay! The cottage was very clean, comfortable and convenient. The three most important factors to me. The beds were very comfortable and the location to the beach was nice and close to catch that spectacular sunrise every morning. We loved walking the beach and to local restaurants too. Paul was great about letting me know about checkin time in advance and extremely responsive when I had a question. I would highly recommend this cottage.

Quiet, comfortable and convenient

We had a great stay at Paul's Cottage. The location was perfect. We love to walk so we were able to park the car and get easily to beach, restaurants, ice cream and short sands. The cottage is off the main road so it was quiet and we really enjoyed having the air conditioner! It was just enough to take the edge off the few hot, sticky days we had in July. We would visit again.

The place was just a litttle smaller than I thought but great for two people. The owner was super. His response for a couple of isssuses was quick. A nice person to deal with.

Location, location

We did at least 10,000 steps a day. Walking distance to pretty everything beach and town wise. Bring face cloths and a few towels. Four towels for three people for a week stay just don’t cut it. The laundromat on Long Sands is very nice though.

quiet heaven

The cottage is a bit out of the way, but that's good because there was no traffic keeping us awake at night. I could not find the bathtub plug, so baths were out of the question. We don't own a TV at home, so finding a working channel took some time.

Fantastic experience. Very clean cottage. Owner was extremely accommodating, even came to the unit at night to address a small issue. Will definitely rent again.

Reminiscing/ CELEBRATING 60 yrs of marriage

Nice little cottage with 2 bedrooms,able to walk to beach. The owner very accommodating and pleasant. We honored the request no animals,but neighbors in this complex did have animals that barked at times. We had a wonderful time!!

Great Cottage and Location

This was the nicest cottage and location we have ever rented for our York Beach vacation. The location was just a quick walk to Long Sands. All appliances were new and the comfort of the cottage was fantastic for a relaxing week.

Perfect location and size

This property was perfect for our family of 4. It was a short walk to long sands and we didn’t have to the hassle of searching for parking, close to the bathhouse too. The size of the cottage was perfect, we were able to make our meals and had plenty of space. We traveled for my 40th birthday and York has always been my “happy place” and I am so happy we went. It was awesome!

The perfect spot for us!

We have been coming to York for over 60 years and we were happy to find a quiet spot with an easy walk to the beach. The cottage was clean and had everything we needed to enjoy our week. Pictures are accurate and reflect the listing. Paul was easy to work with and responsive to any questions. We look forward to staying here again in the future!

Great location!!

The house was perfect for us. Very clean, quiet location and a walk to the beach. It was easy to get to everywhere we needed to go. Very quick responses from host. We would definitely stay again.

Summer Getaway

We very much enjoyed our stay here. The cottage was perfect for our family of four with two little ones and the distance to the beach was awesome. A very short walk to long sands beach and beautiful homes to check out on the way. The property had all of the essentials such as towels, dish soap, sponges, bowls, plates, etc but didn’t have any frills compared to staying at other places. The host was very friendly and easy to work with and offered to provide anything we may need during our stay though. I would highly recommend staying here again.
