LLC-Peaceful, Lakefront Cabin Near Munising with Canoe & Rowboat

Visit the Hiawatha National Forest and Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore while you nestle up in the pines on this cozy lake cottage. Just 7 miles south of Munising and close to bike and hiking trails you can adventure this summer and fall heading any direction. End your evening in front of the cozy fireplace inside or firepit outside while the kids roast their smores. Canoe and row boat available on the lake. No beach on this property as the water table is high this year but you can explore the lake with plenty of swimming and fishing. This is an all sports lake. Cabin does not have a boat launch, however, there is a trail and steps to access lake from the cottage.

Peaceful stay at a cozy cottage

Great cabin getaway! Easy to find and close to Munising for Pictured Rocks. Cabin decor was spot on and cozy with comfortable couches, chairs and beds. We had everything we needed and felt at home. The management company was very responsive and helpful. We enjoyed the deck, the fire pit and the lake, taking the canoe and rowboat out for a spin. Thanks for a great stay!

Beautiful location

Lovely cabin on beautiful lake. Despite the rainy weather we enjoyed a cozy fire, mist off the lake each morning and easy access to town and Pictured Rock. What a perfect getaway.

Nice little cabin

We loved the lake and the fact that there was nice hiking close by. We brought our tandem foot-pedal kayak and enjoyed paddling around the lake. Too bad that the fishing was poor.

Cozy and Comfortable

The tidy Cabin was more charming than the photos and nearly everything we hoped. It was comfortably furnished and designed, with an open plan kitchen, dining and living area with a wall of windows overlooking Lost Lake and the surrounding woods. Wifi was sometimes spotty and the dock was unstable, but due to a health issues and the cool weather, we spent much time indoors tackling and enjoying a new detailed Poirot puzzle from home:) We also enjoyed a jaunt to Marquette and nearby Wetmore's brilliantly designed and fun Miners Mini Golf and Chocolate Shop Ice Cream.

Perfect size for a family of 4. Not to far from a lot of the activities that we wanted to see, but at the same time it was far enough away to be quite. Nice relaxing deck off the lake. Wished the lake shore was a little bit more cleaned up that we could swim off the dock . Otherwise great place to stay

Beautiful rustic/modern cabin on the lake

Great little cabin with everything you need. A nice lake with a paddle boat and canoe to a full kitchen. Cabin was beautifully decorated with the bear/country decor. Nice fireplace when it's cold outside and nice fireplace outside when the weather is nice. I will definitely return for any vaca rentals I need in the future.

Great experience

We loved our stay at the cabin and Lost Lake. We had great paddles and fishing on Lost Lake itself and it was convenient to the inland lakes, hiking, and Lake superior. Our only issue with the cabin was that it smelled of smoke regardless of opening windows, etc. The view of the lake in the evening was wonderful. We would love to come back!
