Welcome to Munising, Michigan, the home of Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore, Waterfalls, Boat Cruises, Scenic Tours and Great Experiences! Located downtown close to all the local attractions this newly remodeled, fully equipped spacious apartment, is the perfect "Home Away From Home" to come relax in after a day of work or just exploring. With a gas station and grocery store next door, plenty of parking space, and the ability to drive off on your snowmobile right from the front door, this is the perfect spot to take your winter vacation. With three bedrooms and one bathroom, this apartment sleeps 6 people. There are 2 queen beds and 2 twins. Bring your family along for the ride and enjoy a relaxing weekend away from all of life's distractions. This is a long-term rental used for transitional housing, work travelers or just a home base when traveling to Munising regularly.

***Please note that we do run a Virtual Golf Simulator and a Gift Shop upstairs. When someone is using the simulator you may hear some noise. We only keep it open until 9PM.

***This unit is below our office as well as the Secretary of State and noise is expected as early as 8 a.m. Weekends are busy and our washer and dryers are constantly going. All of property is under surveillance

***If you are booking through Airbnb or VRBO you will receive a separate contract from Pictured Rocks Vacation Rentals. In order to receive check-in information you will be required to sign this.

Very spacious & great place for family

This was a fantastic place for our family of 4 while vacationing. Super clean, lots of space for everyone to relax after a day of hiking, great shower pressure, comfy beds. Easy walking distance to shops & restaurants. We’d recommend The Basement apartment!

Walking distance

Clean and spacious. Didn’t expect it to be in a commercial building but it was quiet and we were never uncomfortable or nervous. No coffee offered and that was my only complaint.

Reviewer Comments: This property was difficult to find since there is no address on the building, it was in a commercial area that overlooked a parking lot. It was not very updated for the large price, it looked like a Quick refresh with paint. The bathroom didn’t have any towel bars and everything seemed old.

Plenty of beds to fit our family of 5 and let us not be on top of reach other. Clean throughout. The noise above was minimal and didn’t bother us. My only suggestion would be a fewMore kitchen utensils and pots and pans. It made cooking a challenge without a bigger pot or more pans. Would absolutely stay there again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Brought grandsons & friends to Munising - the place was only a half basement- so no stairs & some windows. Extra large & plenty of room for the 5 of us. Dryer wasn’t hooked up yet & they didn’t have a griddle but other than that it was a good place for the price. Very helpful staff right upstairs so any questions were answered in person. They said it might be noisy but not as noisy as the boys. They were upfront in the listing so lack of amenities wasn’t a problem.

Right in the heart of downtown Munising, close to everything you need. Well stocked with extra supplies too! (Paper towels, paper plates, dishes, spices, cleaning products, vacuum, towels, pots & pans, a fan in each bedroom, etc.)
