Welcome to the Coastal Retreat by Clearwater Beach Vacation Homes

Coastal Retreat is a stunning vacation home featuring a refreshing pool, 5 spacious bedrooms, and 3 modern bathrooms. Perfect for families or groups, this retreat offers a blend of comfort and luxury, providing an ideal setting for a memorable seaside escape.

- The home will sleep up to 12, but we do not permit anymore then 10 adults.
-Guests will have full access to the home
- 5 bed, 3 bath
-Keyless entry
-Gulf Front
-7 min drive to Roger’s Park which is a man made beach along the Weeki Wachee River -
12 min drive Sun West park which has an inflatable obstacle course -
12 min drive to Pine Island open beach, which is on the open Gulf of Mexico

Need to Know


-Property is monitored by a ring camera at the entrance at the front porch and another camera on the southwest corner looking to the backyard.
-After booking you must sign a contract and send a copy of your ID. YOU HAVE TO SEND IT WITHIN THE FIRST 24 HRS.
-Dogs are welcome with a $150 pet fee per dog

Essentials:
-Bed linens and bath towels are provided for guests use.
-Basic essentials such as toilet paper, paper towels, dish detergent, and garbage bags are also provided to get you started with your stay.
-Kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans, and kitchen ware.

Note: Pool heaters run from Nov 1-April 1 (if pool is not reaching 80 degrees earlier then Nov 1, then we will turn the heater on for your stay, otherwise if the temp is 80 or above we will keep it off. Pool heaters do not run 24 hours a day. Pool pumps run 8-12 hours a day and that is when the pool heaters work. Additionally, pool heaters may not reach temp if when temps drop into the 50s or lower.

Relaxing peaceful time in Hernando

We stayed in Hernando Beach at a lovely decorated home right on the canal with a view of the gulf. The house was perfect for our group. Kid friendly with plenty of convenience’s & entertainment for them. The adults, also had plenty of activities & sunshine. The house layout was great for our needs & the one level home very convenient with a toddler. I’d go back immediately if I could!

Communication from the host was spot on. Questions were answered immediately. The sunsets from the deck were amazing with it's unobstructed view towards the Gulf. The pool was the perfect temperature. We had 9 guests and the house was just right for entertaining, plenty of space and never felt crowded.

Absolutely perfect spot for our family gathering

The house was extremely clean and comfortable with a setting right on the water. Beautiful sunsets! Fully equipped with canoes and kayaks, heated pool and even a sandy beach with a fire pit.

Kitchen could use some additional cookware. Inside of house was immaculate and very roomy. Outside could use some cleaning/straightening up. Lots of building material (tile, wood etc) strone about on the sides of the yard. Would definitely stay again.

Absolutely Amazing! 10/10!

Our family of 9 adults, 8 kids (10&under), and one doggo had the most amazing vacation at Coastal Retreat. The home was clean and spacious with plenty of room for everyone. The tv in the sunroom allowed for the guys to watch football while the children were able to watch tv in the living room. The outdoor area was equally spacious and relaxing. There was plenty of seating throughout for our large group. Some of the kids were able to fish right off the floating dock and we saw dolphins daily swimming through the canal. We were able to use the kayaks and kayak through the mangroves. I truly cannot praise this property enough for all it was and gave to our family!!

This house was an amazing spot for my family! We enjoyed the views, the adventures on the water in the kayaks and canoe, the marine life, fishing from the house, and the pool time. We are family that has disabled adults and a senior dog. So being all on one level made this so easy for everyone physically and for spending time with each other. We will be coming back next year!!

It was lovely and they loved having the kayaks. Only down side was that there were NO grilling tools. They put tin foil over spatulas and made do.

Peaceful, scenic retreat!

The Coastal Retreat house was a perfect home base for us to explore the Hernando Beach area in our kayaks. From the floating dock (which makes it easy to get in/out of kayaks!) there is quick access to the open gulf as well as an extensive network of mangroves. We also enjoyed fishing from the floating dock and even caught a few fish we could keep for dinner. The house itself was very clean and nicely designed with comfortable furniture and a well-stocked kitchen. We also enjoyed the outdoor space, and the fact that it was fully fenced-in made it easy to have our dog outside with us as well. Lastly, the location of the house at the very end of the street and on a canal that is a dead-end for larger boats meant that we had a lot of peace and solitude at this location. We've stayed at other houses in Hernando Beach that have had a lot of noise from loud boat engines, and we really enjoyed how quiet this location was. We highly recommend Coastal Retreat!

We love this home! Perfect for our family vacay!

Our family spent Easter weekend in this beautiful home and we had a wonderful time. The view is amazing. The sunsets are gorgeous. We love the layout and size of the home. It's very difficult to find four king beds in one home! We have plenty of room, and the home is super comfortable. Everything you need is provided. The kitchen is fully equipped, beds are comfy, and the pool is heated to the perfect temperature! This is our second time staying here, and we will plan to stay again in the near future. Alan is very responsive and helpful. Thank you for hosting us.

Amazing Vacation!

Our family had the best vacation. The house was absolutely amazing. The view of the gulf was beautiful! We used all the amenities. The pool was great and loved that we could kayak out into the gulf from the dock. It was very peaceful! Would definitely rent again! Alan was great and very responsive! Lots of great restaurants and things to do in the area!

Amazing.

We had 5 adults and 4 children plenty of room for everyone. The ocean was right out the back door but smaller kids rather the pool over the ocean. Restaurants close by and shopping. Property manager was excellent couple small issues but they took care of them timely.

Perfect house on the water!

Our group enjoyed this home to celebrate our friends’ milestone birthdays. We had everything we needed for a wonderful long weekend. We cooked a couple of meals and spent a lot of time at the pool and with the kayaks. It was very clean with lots of extra thongs like games and puzzles. I how to come back sometime!

Great view.

Overall we were pleased with the property. Dock is in need of cleats to tie boat or kayaks too. Water in one side of the house never got hot enough.

Had a wonderful time! Highly recommend!

We enjoyed our staying here. There were plenty of options to keep the kids occupied between the pool, fishing off the dock, kayaking, or canoeing through the mangroves out to the gulf which I highly recommend. We caught a variety of fish, saw 2 dolphins, some crabs, and a few sting ray swim by all while on the dock. The extra refrigerator and 2 sets of washers and dryers were extremely helpful with our family of 10. It was great that there was a beach wagon and a ton of beach toys provided for us to use on our beach days.

Family Vacation

What a wonderful week in a beautiful home! The house is amazing with a wonderful view of the Gulf. Everyone had their own room with three private baths. The double washers and dryers were a surprise and came in handy for our large family. The pool was perfect, check in and out was seamless. We will definitely stay here again and again!

If you are looking for rest, you found it!

Perfect. The beds were amazing. Super clean. Alan is super easy to communicate with. Quick to respond. House is organized and just like the listing states. Please note that there is a ramp that an elderly person could have issue navigating on foot to get to the dock from the back deck. Also take a baby gate to block the access to the ramp if you have pets or babies. (We easily used the long table on the back deck as a gate at it worked perfectly!) Super close to ramp, food and ice cream. Fish market close by to.

Beautiful stay on the water

This house is beautiful, the inside is perfect. Large kitchen, not enough counterspace, but it wasn’t a huge issue. Plenty of places for people to sit and gather, the pool was pristine and beautiful and perfect. And the view from the patio is not to another person‘s house which I loved, you look out on the canal and then you can see the Gulf from the other side. Very much recommend.

Family Get a way

This was perfect location for day trips and just staying there. The pool kept the kids busy when the older ones were kayaking with manatee in the canal and they the breaks to the ocean in the evening to see the dolphins feeding. Plenty of room for 8 adults and the 6-16 yr olds. Highly recommended!😊

Family celebration

From start to finish, we couldn’t have asked for more! The advance communication and check in process were easy and complete. The property location and layout were perfect for our multi/generational family celebration. The layout of the house offers multiple spaces for large groups or small. Appreciated the second frig to eliminate constant trips to the store and the multiple TVs. Beds were comfortable. Especially loved the outside spaces from the pool to the amazing sunsets and the conversational fire pit. Plenty of kayaks. Short kayaking to the gulf. The neighborhood is clean, quiet and safe and so convenient to grocery, good restaurants and superb takeout. We loved dining at Brian’s. Highly recommend.

Family of 11 getaway

We had four fishermen in the group so they loved the opportunity to TRY and catch fish. The little ones loved the sand pit and pool. For the first time ever we did not need to contact the manager. Everything went smoothly.

Everything you need

We stayed here with our 4 young adult children. Overall everything was great. The amenities and location were perfect. The ability to swim, fish, or kayak ensured everyone in the family had something for them to enjoy. The kitchen had everything you needed for cooking for a large family. We even had extended family, that were also in town and live in the area, over for dinner one night. The house had plenty of room for everyone. There were some minor issues, but nothing that stopped us from enjoying our vacation. I would rent this house again.
