Tucked among the pines in a quiet Tahoe City neighborhood on Lake Tahoe's scenic West Shore, this inviting three bedroom, two and a half bath mountain home offers the perfect balance of relaxation and adventure. Located just minutes from the beautiful beaches of Lake Tahoe and a short drive to the family-friendly slopes of Homewood Mountain Resort, this classic Tahoe retreat is an ideal basecamp for skiing, hiking, biking, and lake days.
Situated on a peaceful street with a level driveway and attached two-car garage, the home is designed for easy mountain living. Enter through the garage into a spacious mudroom with plenty of storage for skis, boards, bikes, and outdoor gear, or follow the paved steps to the front door leading into the lower level.
The lower level features all three bedrooms and access to a private patio with a relaxing private hot tub, perfect for unwinding after a day exploring Tahoe. Two guest bedrooms offer comfortable queen beds, wooded views, and generous closet space, sharing a ¾ bathroom with a stacked washer and dryer. At the end of the hall, the spacious primary suite includes a king bed, walk-in closet, private ¾ ensuite bathroom, and a dedicated remote workspace—ideal for working from the mountains.
Upstairs, the bright living area provides plenty of seating around a cozy gas fireplace and 65” flatscreen TV, perfect for relaxing after a day of adventure. The space flows into a beautifully updated kitchen with stainless steel appliances and a dining area for six. Sliding doors lead to a large deck with outdoor seating and a BBQ, perfect for enjoying Tahoe's fresh mountain air.
With hiking and biking trails nearby, easy lake access, and fantastic skiing just minutes away, Edelweiss Retreat on the West Shore is perfect for longer stays and digital nomads looking to experience Tahoe living. Amenities include a private hot tub, remote workspace, gas fireplace, 65” flatscreen TV, and close proximity to outdoor recreation, with one dog considered. Sleeping arrangements include a primary bedroom with a king bed and ensuite bath, plus two additional bedrooms with queen beds, all located on the lower level.

Conveniently located two miles south of Tahoe City, you'll find the quintessential Tahoe neighborhood of Sunnyside. This heavily wooded section on Lake Tahoe's west shore features Old Tahoe-style homes and classic cabins. Homes in this neighborhood are all centrally located between Homewood and Tahoe City.
Just down the road, you'll find Sunnyside Resort and Marina, and William Kent Shoreline. William Kent beach is situated in a wooded setting and offers picnic tables and grills with views across Lake Tahoe of the eastern shoreline. Next door, Sunnyside Resort is a favorite year-round lakeside dining option.
During the ski season, you are less than fifteen minutes from Homewood Mountain Resort. Or travel to Palisades Tahoe (formally known as Squaw Valley/Alpine Meadows) which is the largest ski resort in Lake Tahoe. Palisades Tahoe has a shuttle that runs continuously between the base area of
Olympic Valley & Alpine Meadows when both resorts are open for operations, weather, and traffic permitting.
