Heritage weekend get away

In town for RBC Heritage.. This was a great little condo for what we were looking for(something to lay our heads down after a day at the course), nothing fancy but updated features. Located less than a mile from the bus pick up, an easy walk or a quick drive.

Worst place we ever stayed.

I wish I could tell you something good but everything was cheap and old, decrepit! The pictures did not represent the terrible condition this condo was in. I do not recommend. The owner must have written the 5 star review. No way this got more than a 2. Issues: Basically this place needs a makeover. Pictures do not accurately portray the condition of this condo. Old, Old, Old! Musty smelling and so humid the floors are damp. Mold outside the kitchen window which needs replacing. From observation the moisture is due to the faulty window and the glass sliding door which the lock is broken. Shower rod is rusting. Sofa bed disgusting, just springs & dirty. No padding. We had to vacuum the dirt up before I could make the bed and we spent $150 on a memory foam pad, mattress cover and pillow. Queen bed sinks in the middle - very uncomfortable Again you can feel the springs and it creeks. No pillows for the sofa bed. Porch light out. Shower/Bath faucet broken which makes it hard to turn the hot down Furnishings are cheap and old. You need to add instructions to push the front door hard inward to open. Some dishes in the cabinet were dirty. Had to wash all the dishes we were going to use because they seemed nasty after seeing the dirty ones. The kitchen drawer and under the cabinets need to be cleaned and organized. Everything is thrown in. Lining is paper towels and aluminum foil. Again cheap! The bathtub has some weird tape lining the edges which are coming up. Looks like it was meant to hide the terrible caulking done all around the tub. Again cheap. The hot water closet is filthy. Bathroom threshold is coming apart. Trip hazard.

Seascape Villas 3201

Great location. Liked being on the first level end unit near the pond. Easy access to the beach and both pools. Only thing which could be improved is the living room lighting which imo was hard on the eyes. Maybe a pole lamp or bulbs which are less glaring?

Could have been so much better

Found out after booking we had to go to a separate location to pick up the key (no entry code was provided at the condo) and without a car this was a great hardship coming in at night. Teaser photo of coffee pot, but no coffee. The next VRBO we stayed at had coffee, creamer, snacks. No blackout curtains in bedroom and there was underground construction 8 feet from window. Sofa was dirty. No instruction book for tv, checkout, heater, etc.
