LUXE Renovated HOME WALK 2 food, shops, beach

Welcome to Salty Air House, a 2500sq ft home that has been completely renovated. Situated atop of a hill overlooking James Pond and nestled in front of Long Pond, the fresh water of Wings Groves beach awaits.

Nantucket Sound is a little over a mile away. Bike there with our provided beach cruisers. Enjoy the large deck overlooking the pond under the awning in the chaise. Relax in our new oversized outdoor shower after a day at the beach or fire up the gas grill and enjoy family dining outside.

The home is ideal for larger families, multiple families, multigenerational families both young and old, as well as a gathering of friends.

The house is tucked away in a residential setting, yet very centralized location. It is in walking distance to dozens of restaurants, shops, and the fresh water beach of Long Pond directly behind. The sun and surf of Nantucket Sound beaches are just over a mile away! Smugglers Beach, South Middle Beach are 1.5 miles away.

Just behind us, Wings Grove Beach at Long Pond provides a great family-friendly lake beach with calm water and a roped off swimming area. A sandy area offers a nice spot to lounge in the sun. You’ll also find a playground and a basketball court.

This large beautiful property is ready to make future summer vacations a lasting memory for all of its guests.

All beds are outfitted with high quality, crisp, white 100% Egyptian Cotton, 400 count sheets, along with Serena and Lily/ Linen Duvets & Quilts.

No need to lug any infant or toddler items with you! We have both a regular wooden crib with a Serta baby mattress AND a Graco pack and play.
Also, for your use we have a baby monitor, high chair, and beach pop-up playpen.

We provide all your beach days accessories; beach caddy, umbrella, cooler, oversized Turkish beach towels and beach toys to make it easy to travel with out having to waste your precious vehicle space.

Perfect Getaway

We rented Salty Air off season for a long weekend and had such a relaxing stay. Victoria and Steve have thought of everything. The house is amazing: great kitchenware, lots of movies, games, toys, books, paper products and cleaning supplies, and a coffee/tea bar to name just a few amenities. The have a well stocked oopsie box for all of those forgotten items (we needed to "borrow" a toothbrush but made sure to replace it with a new one for the next guest.) The house was the cleanest we have ever rented. There was plenty of space for us to all spread out for some alone time as well as cozy areas to come together for family movies and game times. The split bedroom floor plan was a nice feature- so mom and dad could go to bed early while the kids stayed up. Victoria and Steve had fantastic communication with us prior to and during our stay. They quickly answered any questions we had about the property. We hope to be back soon! For wheelchair users accessibility features of this home included a ramped front entrance, zero barrier shower, and one floor living. All doorways are wide enough for a wheelchair. (Note: there are two small thresholds: the back sun room and between the dining room and kitchen- both easily managed with assistance.)

Remarkable Visit to Cape Cod!

Just came back from a week at the Salty Air House and we’ve already asked about a future booking. This home is incredible. So well decorated and had everything our family of 7 (5 adults, 2 kids) needed for our visit to Cape Cod. Besides this rental being immaculate, it had everything our family needed and more! We had plenty of sleeping space, and even a crib and highchair for our one-year-old. The kitchen is so spacious and offers a long table that we enjoyed family dinners every night during our stay. There are so many sweet touches to this house that made our visit special (coffee bar, extra beach towels and accessories, toys, books….the list goes on)! The outdoor shower and backyard was where we spent our evenings relaxing and playing with our kids. This neighborhood was the perfect location to the beach, shopping, and grocery store. The owners Victoria and Steve are wonderful and very responsive. Can’t wait to return next summer!

Best Host Ever

I've rented quite a few times through VRBO, and Victoria was the best host I've ever encountered! In addition to timely communications and answering questions, she actually had welcome gifts for us! We were making Thanksgiving dinner, and the kitchen had everything we needed. Everything was well stocked, including the bathrooms -- going so far as to include an "oopsie box" containing those items you may have forgotten to pack. (I've been to VRBOs where there isn't even any soap). A fabulous place!

Clean & Roomy

We had a wonderful stay at #saltyair. The accommodations were great! separate master suite was extra helpful to us empty nesters with all the youngins and parents on the other side of the house ;) we loved the coffee bar area - had plenty of options for us coffee lovers! Property is pretty central to our daily activities. The manager was delightful to work with and always checking in if we needed anything. We would definitely rent again here. Thank you so much 😊

Since before I was born, my parents would always vacation down the Cape. So, naturally it was in my blood to eventually move here, marry here, and raise my family here. My parents were always second homeowners. First in Mashpee, then finally at their house in Yarmouth, ''The Salty Air House.'' After my mothers passing in May 2021, my husband and I decided to renovate the house and keep it as it holds so many special memories.
With our 3 young kids in tow, some days were impossible to get things done, but we pushed through because we knew we wanted it to be perfect. We are the "hosts" among our friends and family and it was only fitting to start hosting other families to enjoy our home during their summer vacations.

This home has been completely renovated. A large addition was added on, in early 2000's with a 20x20 master suite, walk-in closet and en suite Bathroom, a 20x20 great room with a laundry area, and a 20x20 four seasons porch.
The original side of the house also includes a Master Bedroom, a double bunk room and another bathroom, Dining room, another large living room and large eat-in kitchen.
This house is perfect for 2 families, girls weekend, or grandparents and their families who want to spread out. The house is one level and is handicap accessible.
The massive deck outside boosts a new, outdoor shower. Custom outdoor furniture with ample seating for 12 and views of a pond. Centralized and walking distance to dozens of shops and restaurants.
