Esta fabulosa cabaña cuenta con un plano de planta abierto y brillante con controles deslizantes que se abren a 2 hermosos patios con vista a Follins Pond, las cabeceras del río Bass. Si te sientes aventurero, puedes tomar una canoa o kayak al Nantucket Sound.

La gran sala de concepto abierto tiene hermosas vistas y brisas, cómodos asientos, una chimenea de gas y un gran televisor de pantalla plana.

Hay un gran maestro con una cama king size, chimenea de gas y sala de estar, una segunda habitación con una cama doble sobre litera completa y una escalera de caracol que conduce a un gran loft hermoso con una cama queen. Hay un baño completo abajo y un baño completo arriba.

La cocina cuenta con microondas, estufa y lavavajillas. También hay una conveniente lavadora / secadora apilables.

Beautiful property and very much in line with the pictures. The house was nicely stocked and the host thought of everything. It was great to show up and not have to go out and spent extra on additional items needed. The master bed was so comfy. I was told the other beds were comfortable but squeaky. Host was extremely responsive and great to communicate with. Overall a 10/10.

This is our 6th time staying at Sunset Cottage. It is a beautiful spot with spectacular views and very peaceful. The host Meg is very accommodating and responsive. The place is well equipped and has new updates every time we visit. Conviently located, we highly recommend Sunset Cottage.

A lovely, relaxing place to stay with a terrific market nearby. The kitchen is well-equipped and clean with plenty of dishes and anything anyone needs to cook. We'd eat our breakfast outside on the deck and listen to the birds in the mornings. According to the Merlin bird app, I heard five different species! Other than the birds, the location is quiet, but we didn't feel like we were driving long distances to get to the other attractions at the Cape. After sight-seeing all day, we looked forward to returning to our quiet home on the lake.

Lovely Cottage

Sunset Cottage was a beautiful and peaceful place to enjoy a week in June. The house was spotless and beautifully decorated, with special touches that added to our comfort. High quality linens, well equipped kitchen, kayaks for our use all added to our enjoyment. As travelers with a small dog, we so appreciated the dog supplies, and our little guy settled in quickly and happily. The proximity to many of our favorite spots in the area made for easy access and provided everything we needed.

Three Going on Four

Our annual birding trip to Cape Cod would not be complete without a stay at Sunset Cottage. This was our third visit and, as we have grown to expect, the location is super-convenient to our adventures and the ambience of the cottage itself is both practical and restorative. Even in the rain, this place is magic, and there is no place we would rather call "home base" for our Spring explorations. Thank you for making this special place available--the pictures do not do the cottage justice. See you in 2026!

Fabulous Stay!

This is our second time at Sunset Cottage at Christmas time. It's perfect. A beautiful home with two cozy fireplaces, amazing views of the beautiful pond, an awesome outdoor firepit, and all in beautiful Yarmouthport. My family absolutely loves it here. We're already planning our next trip!

Quick visit to Cape during holiday time

Great place and location on lake with sunset views, even in December. Meg was very helpful and friendly. Definitely would visit again - especially in summer.

Wonderful Cottage

This was our 5th time staying at Sunset Cottage. It is a beautiful place overlooking a tidal pond. The views and sunsets are spectacular. The place is nicely decorated and well equipped. Great location!

Great location with all the amenities

We are a family of 4+ our in-laws who stayed with us at this location. As soon as you turn the corner and get the view of the lake, your instantly set into vacation mode! The house is well suited and appointed with everything you need. Our host was accommodating with a few last-minute questions. We really enjoyed sitting outside with family gathered around the fire pit just exchanging stories. It’s a very serene location. We will be back!

Second Stay at This Very Special Place

Cold winds and rain during our annual birding getaway made coming home to the cozy fire, comfortable open spaces, tasteful coastal decor, fully equipped kitchen, hot shower with excellent water pressure, and gorgeous views over Follins Pond even more enticing. The weather didn't really permit much lounging outdoors on the decks and dock as we have enjoyed in the past, but we did manage to sneak in a little firepit time--so warming and restorative. The neighborhood is quiet and convenient to everything and our host is a delight and could not be more responsive. We're so happy to have found this slice of heaven and are already looking forward to Visit #3 next April.

Lovely peaceful house.

Sunset Cottage served us very well over the Christmas holiday. The house is cozy, comfortable and accurate to the photos. We were able to take advantage of a well appointed kitchen to cook Christmas dinner and enjoy the peace and quiet of the the area. Meg is very friendly and communicative. We hope to return in the future.

Beautiful cottage

This is an adorable house on the water. All the bedrooms are very spacious. The primary bedroom on the main floor has a fireplace and a sitting area overlooking the water. The bed in the upstairs bedroom is below a skylight so you can see the stars when lying in bed at night. The kitchen had everything we needed. The house was very clean, everything looked new, and there were an abundance of cozy blankets which were much appreciated during our November stay. The outside spaces have wonderful water views. There is a dining area, fire pit area, seating area overlooking the dock and the dock. The Gorey house in Yarmouth was worth visiting and there is a delightful new book/used book store just up the road. I would absolutely stay here again.

Another Wonderful Stay

This is our fourth time at Sunset Cottage but the first time in the fall. The view from every window is spectacular, if you enjoy water views. The cottage is well equipped and Meg the owner is very responsive. It is very conveniently located, just 10 minutes from Mayflower beach and several nice restaurants. We will be going back for a fifth time next summer.

Beautiful cottage

This was our 3rd stay at Sunset Cottage; it was even nicer than we remembered. The views of the lake from the picture windows, the outer dining table, the firepit sitting area and dock were amazing.

Cozy on Cape Cod

Had a wonderful stay at Sunset Cottage with the family. Excellent location on a nice sized pond with a beautiful view and lots of shade. The three bedrooms worked out great for everyone. Well furnished with everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Would definitely recommend this place and would stay here again. Meg is a great host and easy to coordinate with.

Wonderful stay at the sunset cottage!

What an amazing time our family had at Meg’s spectacular oasis on Follins Pond. The best of what the Cape has to offer wrapped up in an outstanding property with all the best conveniences including central air and great WiFi! The location with a floating dock on such a picturesque expanse of water was absolutely mesmerizing. The fire pit and outdoor table were a delightful bonus. The beds were beyond comfortable and everyone felt supremely rested. We LOVED every second of our stay. Meg was a fantastic host and our vacation was truly enhanced by staying at the sunset cottage. We would love to come back. Thank you SO much!

Long weekend in Yarmouthport

We loved our stay at Meg's place. The house is lovely, comfortable and very well equipped, it's location is great and communication with the host was smooth. We enjoyed amazing views of the pond while having our morning coffee on the dock and while having dinners on the deck.

My husband and I have very good friends who have been raving about the Cape for years. When we finally spent some time at their home, we too fell in love with the beautiful beaches, charming villages, sweet ponds and friendly people. It's really hard to leave, but it makes us feel happy to know that others are enjoying it when we can't.

Sunset Cottage is situated so beautifully on Follins Pond and has an A frame design and spiral staircase that we couldn't resist. The neighborhood is so peaceful and quiet, but close by to great beaches, shops, trails and restaurants.
