The host was very welcoming and reachable. Cabin was as good as you see in the pictures. Clean. Very nice setting. Beautiful neighborhood. Close to the main road and neighborhood towns. Easy access to the Smoky Mountain National Park. Paul was very nice and respond to any questions in a fast and proper manner

This was our second time at the Longhorn Lodge cabin in Crocketts Meadow. Our first time in June 2021 was great…and this time was even BETTER!! There is no better cabin for having bull elk within yards of your front porch several times a day this time! All the amenities of this cabin were wonderful to include the hot tub, outdoor kitchen/grill and fire pit area and especially the rockers on the front porch!

Fantastic place to stay. The accommodations were comfortable. We had everything we needed in the kitchen to cook. We also grilled out while elk grazed 30 feet away. So awesome to see these beautiful creatures so close up. The hot tub was clean and very hot! We had a nice relaxing evening in it after playing golf at Sequoyah National. We will choose Longhorn Lodge again when we come to Maggie Valley.

July 4th Getaway

We enjoyed our stay at Longhorn Lodge. The house is located in a neighborhood surrounded by mountains conveniently located to the main road. We enjoyed the mountain views, elk visits, and the quiet. The deck is very nice with a ground level hot tub. House is cozy and comfortable.

Quiet Comfort Nestled in Maggie Valley’s heart

Clean quiet and conveniently located to town. Rode motorcycles up from Texas and we were so happy to find a comfortable two night stay. The bath towels are thick and soft. We had everything we needed!!! So relaxing.

Amazing location

We took our small kids ages 6-8 and it was amazing! We ended up meeting other families where the kids all played together which made it even more special. The house was clean, perfect size, and located in a central location. We throughly enjoyed our time and will be back!

Wonderful property in a fantastic location close to skiing, restaurants, etc. Property manager was incredibly communicative and helpful in resolving any issues or answering any questions we had. Will definitely stay at this property again!

Maggie valley trip #1 The cabin

We were looking at a few to stay, an we ended up here, it was my daughters first time to the mountains, snow she was stoked, the entire week before was asking me hey dad are we leaving yet lol but we will soon real soon, so we get there an she is ecstatic, this is were we are staying I love it, ??? Yes sweetie this is were we are staying,, priceless memories were made from skiing tubing seeing couple elk to hiking an much more we enjoyed our stay an look forward to coming back again next year possibly while it’s snowing! Great cabin, quiet location

This is our fourth year staying in a cabin at Crockett's Meadow. We try a different cabin every year to check the cabin's design. This year the cabin was close to perfect. It is disappointing to see all of the cabins being built in Crockett's Meadow and the newly named Mari's Meadow. We don't see as many Elk as we used to 3 or 4 years ago. We noticed the Elk are moving to the other side of Panoramic Loop where there is more grazing room. We will more than likely have to find a different location once all of the lots are sold and new cabins are built there.

Fun and Safe

We traveled to purchase Christmas Trees. This is a very nice cabin conveniently located. Loved the Hot Tub and fireplace. Owners very helpful and respond immediately. The four stars are due to only 1/2 roll of toilet paper downstairs (you’re furnished starter supplies) and literally drops of Laundry Detergent (you’re asked to start a load of linens upon departure). Also, a few blinds don’t work (obstructing view) and need replacing. The beds are reasonably comfortable, but only had a sheet and thin quilt on them. There was a thin blanket in the downstairs closet floor, but, not sure how clean it was. Fortunately, I took my Heated Blanket Throws! With that being said, I would definitely stay there again.

Longhorn Lodge

We didn’t even get unloaded and the vacant lot had several Elk grazing around the apple tree. We enjoyed them several times before leaving. The house was nice and clean and we would consider coming back.

This cabin was beautiful in a beautiful location. All emails were answered fast and our requests were addressed. We had a great time at WNC Jeepfest. We even got to see some Elk in the neighborhood. We will be back.

Great Location!

Our family visited Maggie Valley for a short weekend. We were able to book the house last minute. The communication was great, and the house was exactly what we were looking for. Location was amazing and close to our favorite restaurants and shops.
