Anchors UP is one of a handful of remaining structures from the 1940's-50's motel BOOM days on the island. Everything on the island is within walking distance, including world class restaurants, beach shops, wine bars, beach bars and cigar bars! If needed, take advantage of Florida Free rides, the Jolley Trolley or Pinellas County Bus system.

We had a great holiday weekend in Clearwater at Anchors Up. The beach is just a short walk away and so are the restaurants. We didn't have a car and we loved being able to walk everywhere. The house was very clean and very comfortable for our family of 5 with 2 adults and 3 older teens.

Gret stay at this place. Location is very nice, near to the beach, markets, stores, Liquor Store, bars and restaurants. Cozzy place, super clean and organized. I definitely would stay again!

We cannot recommend this property. The back yard and patio were unusable and in dangerous condition. Very unkept with weeds growing throughout. There was even a axe left laying in the grass. The unit itself did not feel clean. There was absolutely zero water pressure in the showers. One of the refrigerators in the kitchen was not functioning and had a horrendous smell. We questioned whether the bed linens were clean. Very disappointed in our stay, unfortunately.

Beach retreat

Stayed for 3 nights and a quick walk to the beach. Kids liked the bunk beds. The dock was a nice feature and very chill at night.

Check in was a breeze with cardless entry at unit. No stopping at agent. Great view of canal with seating on dock and patio. Met people from our area staying in unit 3. Easy walking to various restaurants, shops and beach! One item we wished we had was a toaster but other than that all appliances were as listed. Also chairs and umbrella were in closet.

We had 3 couples and had a great time. Walked to beach and dinner. Watched the sunset and sat on the dock in the back yard. Beds comfortable and place was clean. They provided beach towels which we forgot and beach chairs.

Wonderful Rental

This place was wonderful. It was clean and very well stocked with things you no longer get when renting a vacation home/condo. The location was fantastic. Quite area but still able to walk to everything. The outside space is fantastic and the views are spectacular. I highly recommend the property.

Perfect Beach Getaway

Perfect place for our quick end of summer get family getaway. We knew the place already due to staying in another unit on the property before, so when this one came up and was available we jumped right on it. The pictures are just as the unit! Everything was cleaned and check in and out was super easy. The walk to the beach is simple and short. Our 4 and 5 yr old made the walk with NO problem!! Restaurants are easily accessible! Parking is on the property. There were beach chairs that were provided and we did use them which was nice! There were pool noodles and a beach umbrella as well. The unit was great for our family. We traveled as a family of 7 with all age groups present… and everyone was accommodated. We would definitely recommend and book this property again!

Beautiful property! Clean! Has everything you could possibly need! Close to everything! View is spectacular! Overall amazing!!! *Only minor suggestion to owner is to install some black out curtains in the bedroom and living room (futon bed) as the light comes streaming in.* But that is minor and I would 100% stay here again and recommend it to others!

Great Location

This house has a great location! Just a short walk to the beach and attractions. The dock area outside the house is the perfect place to have your coffee/tea and a glass of wine in the evening! Just as seen in the pictures. Well stocked bathrooms, beach towels, etc. Had a great time!

I grew up in Oklahoma(BOOMER SOONER!) and Li grew up in mainland China. We met as coworkers in Tampa in 2008 and the rest is history. We both got in to real estate in 2016 and then discovered the vacation rental industry. And we love it!

Our home base is about an hour from the beach. We enjoy our dogs, RV travel, and playing poker(Li is a semi-pro).
