Welcome to our little piece of Paradise. The soft white sands of the Gulf of Mexico are just steps away from this 3rd story 2 Bedroom condo. The Nautilus complex is located on the beach and includes a heated pool, barbecue / picnic area, 2 parking spots, and of course the beach. No roads to cross here and Beach setup, 2 chairs and 1 umbrella, is included from March 1 through October 31 (Weather permitting).

Enjoyed our stay. Extra beach chairs, the wagon cart and the in room ice machine were really great, and the Kitchen was well stocked for cooking. Comfy couches, nice table, clean and welcoming, very nice condo in general. WiFi was good, and pool was nice. Place has a convenience store next door, which was very helpful. Actual grocery is a short drive away, as are numerous quality restaurants. One of the elevators was broken half the trip, the close one. We were not informed the building’s roof was going to be redone/repaired while we were there, unsure if property owners knew of this and didn’t inform us or not. So there was a huge crane, construction crew, and construction materials obscuring the beach view from the balcony and making a fair amount of noise and commotion for part of the week. Also, there was a comb in our bed, indicating to us the sheets were not changed prior to our arrival. We simply washed all the bedding after discovery, not a huge deal, but notable and the reason for 4 stars not 5. Owners were communicative and clear. Overall was a great time and would stay here again.

Everything was just like the post reflected. Enjoyed the closeness to the pool and beach. The ice machine was a wonderful addition. We will definitely return.

The weather was amazing and the condo was great! Super comfy beds and the big ice machine was a mega plus!! Really easy in and out to get to and fro the beach where our chairs were always waiting ( another huge plus! ) Looking forward to staying here again.

Great Vacation!

This condo is one of the best that we have stayed in for our beach vacations. It was perfect for our family of 4. The beds were comfy, the showers were great, and the kitchen had everything we needed. The ice maker was so nice to have ice readily available. Even though there wasn’t a direct view of the ocean, the balcony was fun to sit on in the evenings. We didn’t use them, but there were several beach chairs, boogie boards, and sand toys to take to the beach. The beach is just a short walk away. Loved our week at Ft. Walton Beach!

Fridge went out but the owners worked hard to get it right fast

The property is a great location and the owners are very nice. Our trip experienced multiple hiccups at the condo due unexpected events. The owner did their best to get it right as quick possible. I would stay with them again.

Location was amazing, right on a private beach, so it was exceptional! Condo was also pretty good, had enough cooking utensils and such for making various seafood items. Children were happy with all the beach toys as well! Amazing place!

Great Stay with 1 issue

The overall impression of the condo was great. The owners were easy to communicate with, the views were beautiful and the kids had the best time. I would be remissed to mention the one, pretty significant issue. Upon arrival in Ft. Walton, we went to the grocery store and between the two families, we spent over 700 in groceries.The fridge was slightly cool but I attributed it to filling the fridge and taking a little bit to cool everything off. After 2 days, the fridge had completely stopped working. Our meat and milk were ruined at that time. I contacted the host and they were very prompt. They refunded me for the meat and milk, and told me their was an ice chest we could put everything else in. I was told that they weren't able to have anyone out there by Tuesday because of the holiday weekend. We placed as much as we can in the cooler. We had to purchase 2 bags of ice a day because the ice maker in the unit was unable to make sufficient ice to keep the cooler filled. On Tuesday or Wednesday, no one came by the unit to repair the fridge. I was only asked to provide the serial number. While the condo was beautiful and we enjoyed our stay, it was difficult and very costly to stay for a week without a working fridge. We would stay here again, as long as the fridge was working.

We didn't want to leave!

Communication was excellent. The condo was very clean. The location is wonderful, so close to the beach! Three generations in my family and every need was fulfilled by owners. They thought of EVERYTHING. It felt like home... OR BETTER! No one in my family was ready to leave. This was our first booking with VRBO and it was flawless... Thank you!! (The ONLY thing that could've made the stay better for us is a screen on the balcony door so we could have left it open to hear the ocean; but that is a building issue, not condo-specific. Nonetheless, the view was BREATHTAKING. It did not disappoint in the least.)

We arrived later in the evening, therefore we were not about to get our parking pass. It was not a problem, we were able to get the pass from the downstairs office at 9:00 am. The unit was a very short elevator ride and walk to the beach. Our friends had another set of chairs and an umbrella ready to be set up next to ours. For a quick trip to get away.....this was perfect!

We come down to Florida every year. We have stayed at nicer condos but with the monster price tag. This was very affordable with a ocean view. A short walk to the beach makes it even better. No car ride, no long walk. I highly recommend this one. We will be back.

Amazing Stay

This condo is so beautiful! Right on the beach and located super close to so much! Rich is amazing and beyond helpful! I highly recommend his condo. Definitely will be back to stay anytime we are in the area! Thank you again for an amazing property and communication!

Excellent Condo in a Great Location

I have zero complaints. Condo was clean and extremely well stocked with detergents, kitchen utensils, towels, shampoo and soaps, etc... The pool was nice and the beach is right there with 2 chairs and umbrella included. There is also a convenient store right next door for any needs and the kids loved they could walk there. We will be returning to this place again.

Nice stay

Check in was smooth and easy! I love this location and the condo was comfortable and homey. The only downside was the lack of essentials. We booked a 4 night stay and the condo only had 1 trash bag and 2 rolls of toilet paper. The property manager said that the cleaning service had forgotten to leave extras. They brought by trash bags when we requested it but we had to purchase TP. Other than that, you can’t beat the location with private beach access.

Condo on the beach

Condo is decorated with cute beach decor. Fit our family nicely. Short walk to the beach. Owners were nice and responded quickly to questions. Beds are very comfortable. The condo comes with two chairs and an umbrella. We purchased 2 additional chairs and it cost us $36.50 each day to do that. They set those up about 8 am and take them down a little before 6. Destin is a short trip about 15 minutes down the highway and we had to do most of our excursions there. They had more availability. We had a great stay and enjoyed are time in Okaloosa!

Home Away From Home in Fort Walton

A beautiful, well-stocked condo that was the perfect distance from the beach! The owners thought of everything (ample towels, detergents, toilet paper, wagon to haul to beach) and then some. It is nicer than the pictures even show. We’ll be back!

We love the beach and really love it when it’s not so crowded. The beaches on okaloosa island are beautiful and the island life is much more serene than the craziness of Destin, FL which is still just a 10 minute drive down the road.

No mega high rises, less crowded beach, beautiful surroundings, island life, still close to everything.
