A little slice of heaven

The home was fantastic. It's location was great with breathtaking views. The staff was very attentive to our needs and provided a wonderful week for us. We loved the many alcoves where people could get alone to think or pray. The kitchen was great and the pool was wonderful.

Wonderful stay

The place was beautiful with beautiful views. On site caretaker was wonderful and went out of his way to keep everything top notch. definitely recommend.

beautiful, isolated, could be exceptional but lots of minor things did not work. fountian,outlets on exterior, bathroom added unprofectionaly, this needs improvement by OWNERS. the Caretaker was elexcent and did everything we asked. DETAILS N MATTER I travled alot costa rica 6 timesMike B

Close to heaven!

Amazing place, way more beautiful than what you can see on the pictures (which are quite beautiful!). Very good service, I wish we could have stay there forever. You wont regret it !

Great location for a getaway

The property is amazing and just as depecited in the photos. The owner is very comminicative and even offered to help our party book recreational activities and transportation to the house. The driveway leading up to the home is challenging so if youre renting a car make sure it has 4wD. But it's well worth the drive and then some. We had a group of half a dozen friends stay comfortably in the house. Highly recommended.

So beautiful!

A family group of 12 stayed here and we can not say enough about how wonderful this house is in real life. The pictures do not do it or the view justice. The property management team was so helpful in every way from arranging tours to transportation. But, the real star of our week was Tino - who is the property caretaker. He was the sweetest and most helpful man. We absolutely loved him and he made our stay amazing.

Beautiful Location and property - Family reunion of 21

The property and its view is as beautiful as the pictures describe. Tino provides great assistance as the day to day property manager. The pool and surrounding areas is wonderful and the 11 grandkids loved it. It is very close to the beaches, Jaco, and a host of other sites. The one huge negative is the driveway getting up to the property. You literally feel like you are taking your life into your hands each time up and down because it is so treacherous. During the course of the roughly 10 days we stayed there we blew a tire when the van slipped off the narrow tire paths and the road sliced through the sidewall and got stuck the first time up because of the huge hole between the two tire paths.

FANTASTIC Views! Plenty of space!

The house is truly immaculate. We had 18 people who stayed and felt like we had plenty of space (there is only bed space for 19 total). The property manager was very communicative and helped us book several of our activities, which was a huge help. They were very accommodating to all of our needs! The only thing future travelers should note is that you really need a 4-wheel drive vehicle to get up to the house. The driveway is narrow and steep with just two lanes of pavement for the car tires. But the views and the house is totally worth it.

Wow!

Amazing property! When we first arrived we knew this would be a memorable experience. So much room to spread out for our group of 11. We spent the most time by and in the amazing pool but the other deck locations (tiki hut bar, covered verranda) were perfect. Had only a couple of hiccups with hot water, living room / kitchen leaks but quickly looked past those minor inconveniences. Tino was our on location pool and service guy, was absolutely a joy and became an amigo by the end of our trip. We would definitely stay again if and when we come back to this area. Pura Vida!

Incredible stay at Playa Hermosa home

The home was absolutely stunning, the views incredible and we had daily wildlife visits from Toucan, Scarlet Macaws and white faced Capuchin monkeys. Tino the property manager was extremely helpful and very responsive as was Kaylor the manager. Anything that we needed help with they responded immediately and in a timely manner, even on New Years day. It is located in such a beautiful valley overlooking the whole area and the ocean and is not too far from Jaco, for when we wanted to go into town. Everyone loved the large very clean pool and all the outdoor and indoor areas, and the bedrooms were sumptuous in space and comfortability and all air conditioned. There was even an outdoor deck that jutted out off of the main deck and that was wonderful for, meditation, games and quiet reading. Truly a special experience and home.

Wonderful time!

We had an amazing time staying at this beautiful house. Tino the care taker was available 24 hours for anything we needed. He was amazing to deal with, friendly, respectful & kept the pool area clean everyday. Property manager was always available and actually did some shopping for us so the refrigerator was stocked when we arrived. We used "The Costa Rica Chef" to do breakfast every morning and it was fabulous. They did an amazing job. The house was amazing and I can't recommend it enough. The house was perfect for out family of 12. Everyone was thrilled they all had their own bathroom and closet. Perfect location, quiet but close to everything. We saw Monkeys, toucans, parrots and iguanas everyday. Was great to wake up to every morning to it. You could see the sunrise over the water and mountains every morning. Would love to go back!!

Best VRBO Experience Ever

When you visit a counyry for the first time, it's important (to me) to have a good idea what I'm doing, but it's hard if you've never been there before. Danny, Kyle and Tino were like having friends who are happy to tell you whatever you need to know! The communication was excellent, and I cannot stress enough how important that was for us! The house was as advertised. It was charming, spacious, and the view was wonderful! We sat out on the deck every morning drinking Costa Rican coffee, eating fresh fruit from the local tiendas, and watching dozens of beautiful bird species, including scarlet maccaws and toucans. We saw monkeys in the trees of the yard, and the kids could have played in the pool all day every day if we let them. Jaco is close enough for a quick run for anything, including the beach.And Tino! Though he was appologetic for his English, it was much better than my Spanish, and we always managed to know what we were saying. But he is SO conscientious, attentive and polite, and brought out pool toys for the kids! He manages the gate for your security at night, and attends to the pool area every morning, and is such a sweet, gentle soul. The driveway is steep, but it's a paved double-track and none of our cars had any trouble getting up or down. We are accustomed to the mountain roads of the US Rocky Mountains, so perhaps more comfortable than some, but honestly, it's not at all as much of a concern as we thought it might be.This is pura vida!!

This house is a MUST if staying in Jaco!!!!

We had an amazing stay and are definitely going back! I traveled with a group of 10 adults and we all agreed that the villa was a great pick!!!! There are so many things to love about this property:  Communication with Danny and his staff was always quick and they were extremely helpful and informative. We had some concerns due to recent weather/rain near the home but Danny provided great information, photos, and videos of the property to assure us that it was safe to travel to the villa. Tino, the ground keeper who stayed in the property [in a separate home on the property] was great! We were very pleased to have him there.  They provide dishes, cups, shot glasses, cooking/baking pans – everything you need to cook (besides the food) is provided  The views from the house are SO beautiful and just as pictured on the photos. You can see a lot of greenery and the ocean. I recommend waking up early to catch the sunrise  We were greeted by toucans, other birds, iguanas, and a monkey. They would just pop out randomly :)  The pool and jacuzzi were clean – we jumped in at least once a day. They also have outdoor speakers  Shower/pool towels are provided  All of the bedrooms are big, have their own restroom, have good air conditioning and were very clean  The house was 10-15 minutes away from Jaco and about 1.5 hours from Quepos. A few tips: 1) The road up to the villa is very steep and has a lot of curves – If you are renting a vehicle, I recommend getting a 4x4 or arriving during the day so you can see where you are driving 2) Buy groceries in Jaco as they are cheaper All in all, our experience was great and we cannot wait to be back! :) Thank you so much, Danny!

Amazing Place!

The views are outstanding and the feel of the property is private but you can still have alot of fun. We used the Kitchen and the Dining area for dinner everynight, it was amazing. the pool is perfect.
