Please be advised: the only area of beach where pets are allowed on the sand is the Dog Beach at Pier Park - approximately 3 miles from the property

Portside Resort is a fantastic property across Front Beach Road from the beautiful beaches! Located on the west end of the beach, this is a quiet community that caters to families and pets. The Hummingbird Bungalow - unit U5 - is located right across from the tennis courts! This vibrant two bedroom unit was completely renovated in 2022 with beautiful upgrades. Up to two dogs are allowed in this pet friendly unit. Behind the unit, there is a peaceful wooded area with a trail and sitting area! The beautiful living room is spacious and colorful with ample space for your family! The kitchen is fully equipped with a view of the wooded area behind the unit. There is also a half bathroom downstairs. The brightly decorated master bedroom has a queen size bed and a private vanity area. The deck off the master bedroom has peaceful, relaxing views as you enjoy your morning coffee. There is a full bathroom upstairs that is attached to the master bedroom and hallway. The second bedroom has a queen bed and bunks!
Portside Resort is a tranquil, quiet property perfect for relaxing when you're not soaking up the sun on the beach.

Resort Amenities: 3 pools (one heated), a jacuzzi, a kiddie pool, tennis courts, shuffleboard and a fitness center.

Discounted monthly rate available November - March. Book 1 month at a time for discount to populate or message us.

Home away from home

I loved everything about this property. The management team is amazing. Check in was easy. Very kind and quick to respond. The complex is amazing... quiet, lots of amenities. The location is perfect... across from the beach, close to everything but out of the hussle busel. It felt like home..

Comfortable Stay and a Bang for you buck!

The unit was just as advertised. It was clean and comfortable. We were a very short walk to the beach. Check in was easy. Great overall experience. We will definitely be visiting the same unit again.

Great location!

This was our second year in a row in Portside Resort. First time in this unit (Hummingbird U5). Unit was clean and beautifully decorated. We (and our little dog) literally felt at home. The most important thing about Portside Resort is the location: only 8 minutes walk to the beach! Can’t beat that! If we go back to Panama City Beach, we will surely book this unit again.

Good location

Resort location is good, unit located in the back, it is a short walk (0.4m) to the beach. if you prefer to drive, there is free parking available nearby. Unit has been updated with new floors, paint but there are a few items that have not been updated and desire to be in a better shape. The grill in the listing picture is not working: we were told it is community property. You do have to pick up / drop off keys from the property mgmt office a couple miles down the street

It was ok!

First impressions for me; - Funny odour from entering property, it has an old type of smell. - House is quite dated so nothing feels or looks fresh. - Cleanliness was ok! - Small queen size bed for a master bedroom. - Beds & towels were clean and nice & white! - Overall I felt it was a little small for my family of 5. - It was prettier in the pictures than the others available on site. Unfortunately I wouldn’t book again.

Needs updated but had a good time

The resort is nice but is older. We had several issues the day after we arrived (TV and internet went out, dryer would not dry our clothes, and the air conditioner stopped working). I fixed the TV/internet by using an outlet on another wall, the dryer never did work well (had to run several cycles each load), the owner came to look at the issues and bring us more towels since the dryer wasn't working. He was very quick to get the AC repaired. We enjoyed our visit but had a lot of issues the first few days.

Nice but could use some upgrades.

The property was okay but it was not cleaned properly. The living room rug was full of sand and dog hair. It was dusty too. The place did not smell fresh it was more of an “old” smell. There was also some handmade cross with Bon Jovia on it with a British flag and a confederate flag on it. That made us uncomfortable. The property manager was notified and removed it. If it was just a bad vibe. With updates and the grounds updated this place will be awesome. The location is great and the neighborhood is nice too.

PCB Stay

Our stay was okay. They only provided one roll of toilet paper, one roll of paper towels, and two dishwasher pods for five people for seven days. As we are having dinner one night, our ten year old guest fell out of the chair because one of the legs were broken on the chair; she could have seriously gotten hurt. Also, the shower head was being held together by zip ties which is inconvenient in itself but especially when two of your guests are kids and need to clean off the sand from the beach. The lights in the bathroom kept going in and out since two of the light bulbs were going out. Overall it was okay only because of how close the beach is to the property. We won’t be staying here again.
