Hey, Get A Room is a studio apartment that is privately located on the ground level of a home surrounded by beautiful live oak trees. You'll have your own private deck to relax after a day at the beach or site sightseeing'. It's only a five minute bike ride to the beach or sound for those beautiful sunsets and many awesome restaurants to enjoy.
There's a public beach access with parking and a bath house 2 minutes away by car.

Cozy nights on the deck with a fire in your chiminea.

You have your own keyless entry for easy check in, Queen bed, deck, outdoor dining area, outdoor shower, 2 beach cruisers, beach chairs, back yard with a hammock. A kitchenette with a Kuerig, Toaster oven, and small fridge.
WIFI and Smart TV.

Excellent communication leading up to visit. Room was clean and well appointed. Unfortunately the Jazz festival was canceled. But the stay was as advertised.

This was exactly what my husband and I needed for our anniversary! Quiet out of the way was great for lazy mornings and quick ride to beach and eateries. Our hosts worked really hard to create a space perfect for intimacy and closeness.

A really great place to stay for proximity to the beach and other things to do in the OBX! The host was great with communication. The property was beautiful and we were pleasantly surprised at the supplies provided in the home. This was my first time booking a home on my home and it’ll be hard to top this choice!

Small , but really clean and comfortable

Just myself and hubby. We are in our 70s. We wanted to see the Wright Brothers Museum and the Kill Devil Dunes. We loved everything about KittyHawk including our little apartment.

Just the perfect size for 2

We live in Virginia and decided to whisk away for a few days in the outer banks. (We love to play miniature golf and have travelled all over the U.S. playing all kinds of zany courses.) This was the first time we stayed in any kind of small rental unit rather than in a chain hotel. It was an absolutely wonderful experience! The host made everything perfect. She was available whiall the instructions very clear - down to the reserved parking spot - and everything we needed was included. Considering all the amenities that are included, it ended up being less expensive than any of the hotels we could have booked, and it was so much nicer.

Perfect for two!

Great place that was perfect for my husband and I. Holli was very responsive and the home was just what we needed for the stay. Bed was very comfortable. Location was great!

Perfect for a couple. Private place in a quiet neighborhood. They've added so many small conveniences and a few large ones. Very considerate of what travelers would need. The hosts are friendly but respect privacy. Also know everything about the islands and are part of the history! Ask Holli about her connections. Highly recommended.

Perfect getaway space for two

Wow! Holli goes over and beyond to make people feel comfortable in this space. It’s cozy and simple, but there’s a lot packed in. The room itself is beautifully decorated and comfortable- smart tv, comfortable furniture, and easy to come and go locks. The spaces outside cry for you to come and enjoy them. There is a lot to take advantage of as this spot is very close to both the beach and the sound and restaurants and shops, but it still felt like a private little getaway tucked away in a sweet neighborhood- not loud beach house rows. We were so lucky to meet Holli in person and she felt like a friend we had known forever. Every restaurant or bar suggestion she made were just as amazing as she said they would be. (Swell’a brewery and Art’s Place) We will definitely be coming back to Hey, Get a Room the next time we come to the Outer Banks.

Short notice- wonderful stay

The hurricane evacuated us from Our vacation but we were able to enjoy time at the Outer Banks in this nice quaint apartment. Lots to do in the area and less than a mile from the beach. Thank you Holli for making it work for us!

Lovely place to stay!

Had a great getaway! Location is prime, nice quiet neighborhood, and nice property. We definitely enjoyed the outside patio area. Very clean and shabby chic. Would definitely recommend.

Little Spot in OBX w/ Big Coziness & Convenience!

This is a wonderful little gem at the 4.5 MP in OBX. The accommodations and host are top notch. You arrive to a nice neighborhood and find a marked dedicated parking spot in the driveway. A welcoming outdoor space greets you with lovely lounge area and just beyond a great set up for chillin' while taking in the beautiful nature in the backyard. You enter through a fun orange door and discover the comfortable abode with ample place for your bags and other items. Everything is thoughtfully laid out and furnished, including a kitchenette area, a counter with seating, walk-in closet, queen bed, and bathroom (great shower!). Holli has supplied all that you need for your stay -- convenience items, a few bottled waters, extra blankets and pillows, etc. The location of the unit is close to the beach, bike trail, plenty of restaurants (both fast food and finer dining), convenience shopping, WalMart, and more. A pair of bikes are furnished for your convenience too. The photos and description in the listing are spot on -- this place is super cute and HGTV worthy! So, if you need a comfortable crash pad in OBX, no need to look further. Enjoy "Get a Room."
