Welcome to Hale Aliʻi Kai — our peaceful garden retreat located within the oceanfront Alii Villas complex on scenic Alii Drive in Kailua-Kona.

This comfortable 1-bedroom, 1-bath condo offers a relaxing tropical setting just steps from the ocean and a short walk to historic Kailua Village. While the unit faces the gardens for added quiet and privacy, the property itself sits directly oceanfront — perfect for enjoying dramatic sunsets and the ocean breeze.

Inside, you’ll find a fully equipped kitchen, comfortable living space, and a private lanai surrounded by tropical greenery. The bedroom features air conditioning for restful sleeping, while ceiling fans and jalousie windows allow for natural island airflow throughout the condo.

Beautiful restful lovely home away from home

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this lovely well cared for home. The kitchen is well stocked, the king bed very comfy and the deck is relaxing. The only drawback for us is that we couldn’t stay longer. Highly recommend!

Nice place to stay

This place was exactly what we were looking for. Very convenient location, clean, and comfortable. The AC unit in the bedroom was nice as was the breeze in the lanai. We took advantage of the weber grills by the pool and enjoyed beautiful sunsets. We'll definitely look to book it again when we come back to Kona.

Great Vacation!

We stayed for a week to attend a wedding and had a fabulous time. The condo was about a 15 minute easy walk to all the shops and restaurants in Kailua-Kona. Lots of shoreline access close by. The property was clean, quiet and our unit had everything we needed, including a small cooler and lunch kit for beach days! We would love to stay again!

Wonderful garden condo

Very comfortable, beautifully appointed. All the furnishings were so nice, from sharp Cuisinart kitchen knives to big fluffy towels to excellent washer and dryer. We loved mornings and evenings on the lanai, and really appreciated the abundant shades and fans; we just used the bedroom AC to pre chill the bedroom at night.

Great property close to the down town fun.

Place had all the amenities of home. Washer and dryer are amazing. Shower had great water pressure. Property is very clean pool was great. We walked down to the ocean and got to watch the sunset everynight.. will highly recommend to friends and coworkers.

Clean and quiet

We enjoyed being a short distance from town, but out far enough to not be in the middle of the city. The landscaping was beautiful. Each unit is situated so that you have maximum privacy. We highly recommend this space.

Spring break getaway

Had a week at this quaint condo- it had it all- privacy, nicely appointed, comfortable, close to Kona, quiet neighbors, nice pool, and great sunsets when the weather cooperated. No complaints other than we wished for less rain; but warm rain was better than snow, so all was good! Thank you for sharing your home with us.

Wow!!

This property is perfect!! Cannot get any better! Proximity to anything and everything on the west side of the island is perfect! The room is unbelievable!! Everything you need to have the most enjoyable trip possible. The room is so stocked with anything you might possibly need!! If you want paradise look no further than your lanai and the tropical garden is incredible!! It’s like staying in a botanical garden! Mahalo, Wendy and Michael

Work or Play....this is the place to stay!

While my stay was one for work not vacation per se, the condo is bright, open, inviting with a full-sized kitchen, washer/dryer, comfortable bed, and beautiful lanai. Very quiet and comfortable with everything you could possibly need…. all the comforts of home! The air conditioning is only in the bedroom which made sleeping comfortable with the ceiling fan. Location is perfect within minutes of Kona town, beaches, shopping, and adventures and in a great neighborhood with residents who are friendly and welcoming. Absolutely loved the sunsets and the pool was a great addition when not wanting to spend time at a beach. We would definitely stay here again when back in town. Thanks for sharing your beautiful condo!

Great location and well equipped

We stayed for two weeks and the Ali'i Villa condo was a very accommodating home away from home. Just a short, 20 minute walk into Kona town and there's a convenience store a few minutes walk away as well. We found the place well stocked with everything we needed - plenty of linens, cooking basics, a little cooler for our picnics and all the kitchen appliances, which was especially nice since we wanted to do a lot of our own cooking. The pool was delightful - so refreshing in the afternoons, and the property has benches right on the ocean, perfect for watching sunsets. Entry and parking were easy and instructions very clear, fast WiFi and washer and dryer right in the unit. It did get warm during the day, but lanai with ceiling fan was pretty comfortable. AC only in the bedroom but it was powerful enough to keep us cool at night and make for a good sleep. Five stars all around!
