The Historic Country Club Plaza
Designed as the country’s first suburban shopping district intended for automobile traffic, the Country Club Plaza was the vision of developer J.C. Nichols. The main level features a bright and inviting living room with a spacious, plush sectional—perfect for gathering with family or friends. A large Smart TV is ready for movie nights or streaming your favorite shows, and high-speed Wi-Fi ensures you stay connected throughout your stay. The open floor plan flows seamlessly into the dining area, which seats six comfortably—ideal for home-cooked meals, takeout spreads, or a competitive round of board games.

You'll also find a convenient half bath on this level—no need to head upstairs during your time in the shared living space.

Fully Equipped Kitchen
Our kitchen comes stocked with everything you need, including major appliances, cookware, dinnerware, and cleaning supplies. And for coffee lovers—we’ve got you covered. Choose from a Keurig, drip coffee maker, pour-over, or French press. We also provide a selection of K-cups, creamer, and sugar to help you start your mornings right. The kitchen offers easy access to both the private driveway and the lower-level lounge area.

Upstairs Comfort
The second floor features two peaceful bedrooms and a full bathroom:

The primary bedroom includes a king-size bed, dedicated workspace with desk and chair, additional shelving, and a large closet—perfect for extended stays.

The second bedroom features a queen-size bed, bedside lighting, full-length mirror, and ample closet space for your belongings.

The full bathroom includes a tub/shower combo and a spacious vanity. We provide one large bath towel and one washcloth per guest, along with dark makeup towels and luxury Tommy Bahama bath products, including shampoo, conditioner, lotion, and body wash.

Basement Lounge & Laundry
Head downstairs to discover a second lounge area, complete with another Smart TV and a selection of board games—great for extra relaxation space or movie nights with the kids. A full-size washer and dryer are also located on this level for your convenience.

This property is about a 5 min to UMKC, Whole Foods and several other restaurants around the South Plaza area. Uber and Lyft rides are also readily available along with rentable bikes and scooters right outside your doorstep. The nearest KC streetcar stop is less than a block away, and provides FREE rides from the Plaza to Union Station through the Power and Light District all the way to the City Market.

Fantastic location just steps from the streetcar, coffee shop, Whole Foods, Pizza 51, and some terrific local restaurants. We used to lived just on the other side of the state line from here so knew we were in a super convenient place. The house is bright, roomy and very clean down to the vanity drawers. The amenities were great...large shampoo, conditioner, body wash was such a convenience for the two of us. Loved the off street parking though there always seemed some available street parking within the block. The communication of the hosts was perfect..quick and efficient. We will definitely have this at the top of our list on our next visit.

There are only 2 bedrooms. There was a garter snake in the sink in the utility room. One of the guests experienceed a fall towards the bottom of the steps at the turn where there is no handrail. Everything else was good. Location was good and the place was very clean and comfortable.

Wonderful home

The house was perfect. Very clean. Beds were comfortable. Check in was easy and contact free. For a two bedroom place very spacious. Would highly recommend. It would’ve been helpful to be told the keypad in the back of the home is the one to use not the front door. I would recommend if you’re going to rent this home use ABNB, that way you do not need to go through and identify website and pay an additional 35$. The host was very responsive. It is within 15 minutes of T-Mobile Center. There is a small grocery store within two blocks. And great bbq a mile an half away— Q39 highly recommend!

Parking needs fixed

Everything was excellent except the parking . The street parking blocked our driveway and all other neighbors on street have to park vehicles close to boulevard entry to parking area to keep street Parker’s from blocking entrance to driveway . With partial opening of area we could not jiggle our truck out to leave .

Really great property

This space was perfect for us- well appointed for 2 adults, a baby and a dog. A+ location with so many things walking distance and even more a very short drive away. Check in and out was so so easy and convenient. We had a great time and would absolutely stay again!

A great place to stay in downtown KC

This property was very easy to rent, clean, and easily accessible to downtown KC. Loved the decor and the beds and couches were super comfortable. The photos of the place did make it appear slightly bigger than it actually is — the 1/2 bath is super small! But all-in-all, a wonderful place to stay!
