The cabin was just what my family needed. It was very clean and had everything we needed to enjoy a long weekend. Very quiet and peaceful! The fishing in the pond was great!! Very nice place to stay!

Host communicated in a timely manner. They gave good instructions on directions, access to the property, and checkout procedures. The house was decorated nicely with a good layout. The sunrises and sunsets were beautiful. Very relaxing. Close to highway so easy access to restaurants.

Wonderful little place. Was perfect for us as we visited with family in the area. My husband enjoyed the massive TV for sports and fishing in the well stocked pond. I enjoyed the full size kitchen for cooking meals. This will definitely be a do over next time we come up.

This property was everything we needed. We were in town visiting family but wanted to have our own quiet place to return to at the end of the day. It was even better in person! I didn’t realize we could see the lake from the back of the property so that was a nice surprise. This property is top notch on cleanliness and response from the owners. There are gas stations, a dollar general and others just a short drive from the property. Our fave restaurant Ghetti was nearby so we were excited about that! We decided that we will make this “our spot” when we come to visit our family.

Amazing little house with private pond

This was an amazing place to stay. Decent view of the lake. The pond had plenty of fish in it. The house was very nice and comfortable. Also had small things like plastic cups, plates, and other small useful items that came in handy. Was great to be able to utilize the grill and fire pit without having to bring my own. I will definitely go back to stay in the near future.

Beautiful gem!

We were pleasantly surprised with the interior of the cabin. There was plenty of sleeping space, comfortable pillows and blankets. The kitchen had all the amenities for us to make every meal and not have to eat out. The location was perfect for our excursions into Farmersville. We even had a chance to use the fishing poles and tackle left to explore the adjacent little pond. Host thought of everything, from cleaning supplies to extra waters in the fridge. An unexpected special treat of wine and ice cream were left that filled a sweet spot we didn’t even know we would need! Thank you for everything!

We loved our stay at this property, the owners were very accommodating throughout the whole process. With only one bedroom, there was still plenty of space for all of 4 of us. We will definitely be back!

Amazing

As a former travel agency owner I traveled to many amazing places but there was something special about this place that stood out to my wife and I . The area and lake are beautiful and the house is super comfortable and has everything you could imagine. My wife fished and caught her first ever fish and she now loves it and I caught several nice bass. We had a late night romantic fire in a beautiful fire pit and every night we sat outside on the porch with the cool breeze on a hot summer night coming off the lake. For us it was exactly what we needed as a couple and we will be back.

We had a great time! The private pond was good for catch and release! Close to the lake and close enough if you need to run to town but isolated enough to enjoy the privacy! Clean and beautiful country cabin!

Charming

This was the perfect place for a "me retreat". It is quiet and secluded and beautiful. The host thought of everything, even sample size toiletries and a fully stocked K-cup and tea station. Everything was comfortable. The hammock was a comforting place to spend the mornings reading and the dock was a perfect place to watch the sunset with a glass of wine. It is a remote location so I'd advise getting your groceries on the way to the cabin. I left feeling so refreshed. It was the perfect place for what I needed. The host was quick to respond whenever I had a question. 10 out of 10. I would definitely stay here again if I need to be in Texas again. Also location reference, it's about an hour from Dallas Love Field and about 25 min from Lake Lavon Camp and Conference Center.

Lake Lavon Weekend

The cabin is clean and well appointed. It had everything we needed for our stay. It's a large property, and the cabin is well away from any neighbors. We didn't use the fishing pond, but it looked nice. The grove of cedars with the lawn chairs and grills is very inviting. I spent some morning time there, before it really heated up. When it's 104° F outside it's a little hard to use the outdoor facilities!! We will think about coming back some season when it's cooler.

Best trip yet.

Easy to get to. Very clean. Only thing you really need to bring is yourself and some food, if you cook. Everything else they take care of. The ice-cream and the Thank you card made it even more special. Water and Soda; let's just say everything was stocked beautifully. They reply to you in reasonable time. The peace and quiet was the best. Thanks Krystal. We plan on bringing our daughter and granddaughter there soon.
