El apartamento de 3 habitaciones (60 m 2) está en el segundo Piso (sin ascensor) de un palacio que perteneció a la famosa familia Cavalcanti en la Edad Media. El edificio ahora es un edificio protegido y solo recientemente ha sido restaurado. La superficie habitable está dividida de manera óptima: entrada espaciosa con guardarropa, 2 dormitorios cada uno con cama doble y baño privado (con ducha), así como una acogedora cocina totalmente equipada y zona de comedor con un sofá desplegable. Los muebles cuidadosamente elegidos, el piso de terracota y el techo de madera antiguo le dan al estudio un auténtico ambiente florentino. Al mismo tiempo, el apartamento cuenta con todas las comodidades modernas: aire acondicionado, Wi-Fi, TV, lavavajillas y lavadora.

    Better than the photos

    The place was beautiful. Larger than the photos showed and full of history. Perfect location. Although one of our group managed to lock herself in one of the bathrooms. The host responded immediately and a locksmith had to be called to use a special key to get her out of the room. She made it to our tour in time with the guidance of our hostess. I would definately stay here again.

    Perfect location, very convinient --walk everywhere!

    We were visiting Florence in May, 2 families no children. This apartment was just perfect for us -- 2 separate bedrooms, with full bathroom each, so we had enough privacy, spacious living room, fully equipped kitchen. Very clean and well maintained. Walking distance to everywhere! Central train station 20 min max! Jessica was very nice giving us detailed directions and meeting us at the steps of the apartment. Highly recommend! We enjoyed our stay!

    Great location

    55 steps from the street to the apartment door and no elevator so be prepared. A very nice apartment however right in the heart of things in Florence. A 15 minute walk to the train station. Comfortable apartment with two bedrooms and two bathrooms.

    excellent location, fun and safe

    Our stay in Florence at your apartment in the middle of October was awesome. Certainly 5 out of 5 starts; perfect location - 5-20 minute walk to most of the major sites, on a street that was not very noisy, just the happy sound of walkers chatting, and very safe!; the apartment was clean, comfortable and well-appointed; communication and delivery of the keys worked well. I would definitely stay at this apartment if I am lucky enough to visit Florence again, and I will certainly recommend it to my friends.

    Charming apartment Lorena

    We 4 people stayed in the lovely Lorena apartment for 3 nights in July 2014. The location couldn´t be better. We took the bus C2 from the train station to the nearest bus stop as my father could´t walk long, the distance is about 20 min walking with luggage. Jessica (or Regina?) waited for us at the front door, she spoke German and explained us everything. She gave us many useful suggestions: breakfast, dinner, grocery, ice cream... Everything was well prepared, we signed the contract and made an appointment for checking out. We also got 2 pair of keys that we could go out separately. There is a booklet which shows a lot of secret tips about Florece, we find it amazing! The apartment is on the 2nd floor of an old building. The stairs behind the main entrance are quite narrow. The apartment has 2 bedrooms , 2 baths and a living room with kitchenette. It is a clean and cozy place with nearly everything: Wi-Fi, AC, washing machine, laundry rack, refrigerator, dish washer... We also love the old wood furniture as well as the wood windows/balcony doors:) The only suggestion I would make would be some dish clothes and cleaner. We had to buy them from the small supermarket. The location of the apartment is just too good to be true. We could get everywhere on foot. We visited Italy at the peak time, me and my boyfriend had to figure out it was too noisy in the night. Even with closed window, we couldn´t sleep very well. The location of the apartment is so convenient, but at the same time too many people walked throught the street under our bedroom's window, they talked and laughed loudly in the middle of night... My parents' bedroom doen´t has such problem, it has a balcony towards the courtyard. I would recommend this apartment to my friends, but maybe in the low season.

    Perfect place with a perfect host!

    WOW....This was an amazing place! The apartment had a Tuscany charm. The large ceilings, tiled floor with the wood window shutters were adorable. It was a little villa in the middle of the city. The two bedrooms and two baths was just what the doctor ordered. Large beds in each room with airconditioning unit that turned the rooms into the North Pole. The two bedrooms were on opposite ends of the apartment which was nice to get a little time alone. It is great for two couples or a family of four. The kitchen had all the amenities and the freezer, like the bedrooms worked well. We would put bottled water in at night and they were frozen solid to take on our day trips. We also drank the tap water with no problems. The showers were powerful and hot! The only suggestion I would make would be to get a better fitting floor rack to stand on in the shower, in the back room. It was a little slippery. The location was key if you want to be 5 minutes from all the sites. It is a busy location but it seems all of Florence is busy. We loved a store called Grana Markert a few blocks away. They were the sweetest folks in the market and you can get Prosecco on ice...so ready to open and drink. Jessica was a doll and met us at the apartment on time and had only quick and precise communication with the booking process. I have been to many places on VRBO and this one was on of the best. The pictures on VRBO don't do it justice it is so bright and cozy. Noice level wasn't bad, but it is in a city so it is what is expected in the back bedroom. The bedroom closest to the front door faced the courtyard and was very quite. The only other thing was that we didn't have access to the elevator. However, the stairs were not that bad and the apartment is on the second floor. It was a wonderful value.

    Our stay in the ''LORENA'' apartment, was perfect!

    We stayed in this lovely apartment for three nights. We were two couples from Greece. The apartment is perfect for two couples! Very clean, with all the necessary amenities and even more! It is situated in a great location, since all the most important historic sights are in a walking distance. Ponte Vechio is a 5 minutes walk from the apartment.There are lots of lovely restaurants and shops around , where you can get anything you need. Regina was very kind to help us, when she came to meet us , to show us the apartment. She was very helpful and gave us a lot of useful tips. I would definetly recommend this apartment to my friends, going to visit Florence!!! I hope we visit Florence again!! I know where we are going to stay, again!!!

    Great apartment in a prime location

    We stayed for 4 nights in the Lorena apartment, when our original accommodations fell through at the last minute. Regine was extremely responsive and prepared, when we met up with her at the apartment. We loved the place as soon as we walked inside. The apartment is bright, clean, and tastefully decorated. The location is very convenient to all the main attractions in Florence. We found a green grocer and a bakery, both within 2 blocks, which we visited every day for fresh fruit and bread. Highly recommend this apartment.

    Lovely apartment in a convenient location.

    Our stay at the the Lorena apartment was a last-minute happenstance, but we could not have been more pleased. Our original accommodations fell through at the last minute, so we were scrambling to find a place to stay. Regine was extremely responsive, and well-prepared when she showed us the apartment. We knew as soon as we walked in, that we were going to love the place. We ended up staying for four nights, and during that time we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The location is extremely convenient to seeing all the sights in Florence. We found a bakery and a green grocer within two blocks, and stopped there daily for fresh fruit and bread. The apartment is bright, clean, and tastefully furnished. We would highly recommend this apartment.
