Such a wonderful, central West Maui location. The resort was beautiful and the condo was perfectly appointed. We used the beach chairs every day. My Perfect Stays had great communication and provided everything we needed inside of the condo. Would definitely book again.

Great Stay at K Shores

We had a lovely visit to Maui and enjoyed staying at Ka’anapali Shores. The pool and beach proximity were perfect. Our condo was comfortable with a well equipped kitchen.

Week in Maui

We enjoyed the location, having the beach right out our door, pool access was wonderful. Some local restaurants and stores were available. Within the condo itself, there were some minor accessories that would have been helpful to have for the kitchen. It was missing the drain stop for the sink, the sprayer didn't work, and the bedroom remote didn't work.

Christmas Vacation Stay

The property was great and the pool was perfect for kids. Beach access was easy and was a usable beach for swimming or surfing. Food trucks were right next to the resort and you can easily walk to them. Overall a great vacation.

Maui Relaxation

A great resort in a fantastic location! We loved our week long stay at Kaanapali Shores. The beach was perfect - good swimming, mostly quiet, and several sea turtles. The grounds were meticulously maintained and beautiful and the elevators were quick (bonus since we were on the 8th floor). Our only negative comment had to do with all the sawing and drilling that was occurring in the other building (directly across from us) to repair/replace deck floors and railings on those units. It was very noisy most days which meant no laying by the pool or sitting on our deck during the day. We realize improvements are necessary but it was certainly disruptive.

Kaanapali Shores

Although the room felt a little dated, it was very clean and comfortable for our stay. The rental agency did a wonderful job providing clear check in/out instructions. And we really appreciated them checking up on us through out the trip via text. We had an issue with the shower handle and even though the agency was off site, the issue was handled promptly. We would stay with their service again and definitely recommend.

Beautiful sunsets!

Running this property was easy and painless. Somethings I would change in the complex but all in all we had a wonderful time, beautiful views of the pool and the ocean. Easy to get around and beautiful sunsets every night.

Beautiful Place

This property was beautiful and in a great location! It was walking distance to the beach. I would say great for snorkeling! It is also very close to a lot of yummy food places. The place was clean when arrived and provided with essential items to cook with. The property manager often checked in which was nice! I would defnitely stay again.

Great location - very enjoyable experience

Great condo with a great location. Steps from the beach and the pool. Close to all the fun things to do in Maui. My family enjoyed the property and had a great vacation. The condo was very clean and had everything we needed for our 6 night stay.

A mixed bag in Paradise

When you're drinking your coffee on the balcony while staring at the ocean, life is pretty good. And yet when you are spending the kind of money that you spend to stay in Maui, you have some basic expectations about the service; and it's frustrating when they are not met. The unit itself is fine. Not luxury accommodations, but priced accordingly; less than half the cost of a luxury resort a few miles south on Ka'anapali. And those luxury resorts don't offer amenities like a full kitchen or W/D. The view is outstanding. Stunning. The kitchen and W/D are enormously convenient. The furniture and decor are a bit dated. Not awful, but the fold-out bed was very uncomfortable, and the pillows in the bedroom were not made for anyone who wants to sleep. The property itself is nice; two uncrowded beautiful pools, and an on-site restaurant and bar that rivals much more expensive ones in Lahaina. The main problem is with the property management company that this owner uses: My Perfect Stays. When problems came up, they were completely disinterested in solving them, speaking to me as if they were doing me a favor versus showing that they were interested in earning my return business. Checkin time is 4pm, so I asked about an early checkin, and was told that I could call the day of my arrival to see whether it was available early. I later got an email saying that they do NOT do early checkin, and when I spoke to them on the phone about this they were rude and dismissive. When we arrived,. the unit was dirty. Nail clippings and beach sand on the carpet dirty. When I called, they said a supervisor would call me back to address the issue. Nobody ever called back. Ultimately it was awful customer service in an industry that requires good customer service. Vacations are not meant to be stressful, and they were uninterested in making it so. The other problem is that when you stay in a room not managed by the Aston, you have no access to things you would otherwise take for granted. For example you are not allowed to check or store luggage at the bell desk, nor do you have access to a luggage cart. Instead, they want you to use a janky grocery store shopping cart located in the garage. Nor can you charge food or drinks to your room. Both of these issues are easy to solve, but Aston is seemingly uninterested in doing so. Ultimately I would definitely stay again in this building, but would think twice before staying at a unit managed by My Perfect Stays.
