MINI-WEEKS AT "THE BEACH HOUSE IN BLACK AND WHITE" - DOG FRIENDLY TOO! Can't stay for a whole week? You are welcome at this adorable cottage that was once part of the historic "Old Mill House". Updated and cheery, this 3 BR, 2 BA vacation rental is located "in-town" Rehoboth. You'll be mere steps to delicious "Egg" for breakfast and Dogfish Head for lunch and brews! When not at the beach, boardwalk or fabulous restaurants and boutiques in Rehoboth, you can enjoy a good book, coffee or cocktails in the sunroom or 2nd FL deck. Have a cloudy day? Stream the latest series on one of the 4 smart TVs. You could also tool around town on one of the bikes provided by the owner. The owner graciously offers a few beach chairs and beach umbrellas for guest use as well. Another Bonus: a Rehoboth Beach parking permit is also provided. 1 dog under 20 lbs. welcome with minimum $300 fee and signed addendum. or Smoking please.
Guests pay a $150 cleaning fee for all stays. Sheets/towels/paper products are not included, linens are available for rent.
Guests must choose to purchase a $70 Vacation Rental Damage Insurance policy covering $3,000.00 in accidental damage or pay a refundable security deposit of $2,000.00. Policies of a lesser amount are not acceptable.
We accept Mastercard, Visa, American Express and Discover Credit Cards and eChecks for your initial deposit. We also accept personal checks for final payments. Final payments are due 30 days prior to your check-in date. NOTE: Any payments within 30 days of arrival require to be in certified funds or by credit card. You will be provided a link to a Guest Portal where you can securely make your payments online.

VRBO BOOKINGS: This property is hosted by the management company noted as owner on this site. After booking the property you will be charged a booking fee by VRBO. ALL other fees and the rental amount will be charged by the management company and paid to the management company. Once you have booked on VRBO, you will be contacted by a representative from the management company via phone or email and you will be sent a Lodging Agreement that must be signed to confirm your reservation. excellent location

we had a great experience. loved the location as Egg is excellent, and with teen boys, it was great being near the YMCA, the bike trails, and the Farmers market!

Weekend Getaway

Absolutely loved our stay here. House was clean and welcoming and the neighbors were very friendly. The management property was very easy to deal with. We would definitely come back for another stay!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: the location is good and the parking was easy, the place does need some attention in terms of cleaning due to dogs/animals. Also it seemed like a lot of the utensils were missing. The third bedroom upstairs adjoins to the larger one making it easy for a kid but hard if it is all adults and the other room has not great ventilation,

Family vacation

Stayed here with my family and brother. We loved the decor and the fully equipped kitchen. We cooked and grilled over the week and enjoyed our stay. Loved having the parking passes to drive our stuff to to the beach. Went on the bike trail nearby and it was beautiful.

Great Location

The location was perfect distance between so many of the bars and restaurants. The house itself is modern and has great updates! I don’t think we had a single complaint or moment asking for something that was not there.

Okay place

Kitchen and home is nice in general. It's very oddly laid out. Two bedrooms are in offices, one is very small and the trundle/roll out bed keeps the door open/closed when pulled out all the way. Beds are just okay, for comfort.There were many steak knives and no spatulas in the kitchen (left one there we purchased) so it's great for those who grill out a lot. Location is right behind Egg, which is nice. No issues with parking or location or wifi - all very good. Just very oddly laid out for a rental. Also, outdoor shower is part of the listing but it was not available for our use, per the rental company.

Long Weekend in Rehoboth

The overall stay went very well. The property management team was easy to work with, even when we didnt realize the parking situation, they helped us make sure we could fit all 3 vehicles without issue. The location is quick and easy to the beach and town. Walkable to the boardwalk if you choose, but a quick 5 minute drive too. The house was clean, orderly, AC worked great, and the beds were comfy. Ample space for 6 people. Would stay again.

Quite get away

Old high school friends reunion. Nice little place. Clean and quiet. Close to restaurants. Several blocks walk to beach. A little difficult to locate. But easy access Will rebook!

Rehoboth Cottage

Great location, decent layout within the house, but furniture and decor make it feel very cluttered. Nearly all cabinets throughout the house have locks on them, so this combined with big desks in two of the tiny bedrooms leave very little room for actual clothing, food, or luggage storage.

Space to park two cards and included two street parking passes which was very helpful for using the beach. Village House near the Beach

House has a great location and is comfortable with ample getaway spaces, including a spacious upstairs deck and sunroom downstairs. The kitchen and bathrooms are updated, but the garbage disposal needs repair. It would be helpful to have a light in the upstairs hall and stronger lighting in the bedrooms for reading at night.

Awesome location!

We loved our stay here. It was great for our family of 5 because of how walkable it was to restaurants, playgrounds, etc. Despite its proximity to everything, it felt quiet and secluded, with excellent shade via tree cover. We did not use the deck or grill, but I could see those being enjoyable. The outdoor shower is handy and spacious, though the drain backs up very quickly. We used the front room as a play area, which was perfect for the kids—the living room is small with some fragile items. Kitchen is accommodating, and though larger groups may need more dining room area, we found it fitting for 5. The bedrooms are upstairs, with another bathroom. We had our youngest in a small adjoining room to the master bedroom (hard to tell from pictures). Our two older kids shared a bed in the room across the hall. I include these details for other families like ours who also want to identify sleeping arrangements before booking! Overall, this is an excellent place to stay—very clean, spacious enough, and fantastic location.

Disgusting deck, completely unusable

Brown puddles and stains on deck, caked on bird poop on all deck furniture. Reported this to management company who sent some out to “clean,” but deck was still discussing and unusable. More frustrating, there was a guest book where previous renters listed their complaints about the property, so the owners knew the cleanliness concerns, and did nothing about it. Others reported roaches, mouse droppings and inappropriate use of cameras. I would definitely not stay here again and would caution others as well.

This is the SPOT!

Absolutely charming house with absolutely everything you could want or need for a absolutely incredible time at Rehoboth Beach. Would we recommend? ABSOLUTELY! Very clean, spacious with almost every amenity needed. Eclectic, fun décor and all very comfortable. The two porches were by far the best places to hang out in the morning and evenings. It is so convenient to the beach, Boardwalk and restaurants...we didn't even need the bikes that were available to us. Perfect location. The master bedroom mattress was very comfortable. My son and DiL said the 2nd bedroom mattress "left a bit to be desired" but they usually dislike every mattress but their own...so I leave that to you to decide. It seemed fine to my husband and I! ?? Check-in and out was a breeze, and if you've never been to RB (we hadn't), this place knows how to move folks in and out of the rentals like clockwork. No problems at all. We recommend this place very highly! Loved it!

Last Minute Stay

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall, for a last minute stay, this house worked well. The enclosed sunroom was perfect for extra space to spread out. The house was clean and the smart TVs in each room were great. But, a few issues...1: Too many cabinets were blocked off for the owners, leaving zero pantry space. All our food had to just sit on the counters.2. The upstairs bathroom cabinet was also blocked off and unusable.3. No real dressers in the bedrooms, just small canvas stackers. Desks were in each room filled with personal junk.4. Second queen bedroom bed was falling apart...every single screw was loose and we has to fix it. 5. Third bedroom with trundle bed (not twin beds) could only be accessed from the outside or the main bedroom. A giant desk was in there, taking up way too much space.6. "Outdoor" space was completely overgrown and made the wicker furniture and the grill unusable.Mainly, it seems that the owners just basically leave it as their second home and don't really set it up for a vacation rental. I will say, the realtor service was amazing and responsive. We had an issue with yellow jackets coming in through a window and they worked hard to get it taken care of. This house has potential to be a great space, but needs to have some tweaks. Mainly, the owners need to make it less like people are walking into their home.

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The property was great in many ways. However, there were a few key features we were looking at when making the reservation. Those included a screen porch and an outdoor shower. When we got to the property we found that the screen porch pictured in the photos no longer existed (it has been enclosed into a sunroom), and the outdoor shower has no hot water. In addition, we were two families staying together—one with an infant (needing space for a pack n play in the bedroom) and the other with a child (needing the bedroom with the smaller bed). Unfortunately the child's room can only be accessed through the larger adult bedroom and there was no room for the baby to sleep in the smaller, private bedroom. It was unclear from the listing that one of the bedrooms can only be accessed through another one. All in all, the property is well maintained, well located, and beautiful. However the listing should be updated to reflect these details; we would have chosen another property that better fit our needs.

Great experience

Very clean, everything felt new. Great location right behind Egg Restaurant. Easy walk to town, 20 min walk to beach. Nice screened in porch and deck. Hope to return!
