Cozy Pocono Mountains Getaway with Views

Welcome to Whitetail Lodge! A three-story, 2,100 square foot corner townhome with four bedrooms and three full bathrooms overlooking Camelback Mountain. This cozy, Pocono Mountain getaway boasts magnificent views, conveniently nestled among countless outdoor adventures.

Feel at home when you're away! Relax by the wood burning stove in our beautifully decorated living room with two comfortable seating areas, cathedral ceilings, and picture window. Our kitchen is fully stocked for all basic cooking/dining needs. The dining room table seats 6 with countertop seating for 4 and leads to a small seating area on the balcony to enjoy the views.

Even though we are surrounded by outdoor adventures, there really is no reason to leave! The separate, entertainment level provides ping-pong, foosball, air hockey, mini-pool, smart TV, movies, Xbox, games - not only the classic board games but custom activities like scavenger hunts and interactive riddles. There is something for everyone!

We can accommodate up to 10 guests in our 4 themed bedrooms:

Pocono Plaid is adorned in a warm buffalo checked pattern that screams mountain getaway and gives this main floor bedroom a rugged, cozy feel. (1 queen bed - main floor)

Pocono Pines features spectacular views of the mountain, nature and of course, pines. The woodsy decor encapsulates the room in warmth and comfort and a desk makes for a perfect flexcation. (1 queen bed - second floor)

Pocono Pride boasts all things Pocono! The collection of memorabilia captures the beautiful serenity and rich history of this vacation destination. (2 twin beds - second floor)

Pocono Play is nestled in the separate entertainment level to remind all our guests they are never too old to play! (2 bunk beds - lower level)

We believe every little detail is another opportunity to make a great impression. We strive to bring comfort and convenience to our guests by including towels, bedding, a starter supply of essentials, and recommendations for our favorite restaurants and adventures. We stayed for 2 nights for my husbands birthday. There was an issue with the house when I first booked and the owner (Laura) was completely amazing with it. Didn't want us to miss out on a great weekend if the house wasn't going to be ready for us. She kept in contact and updated me frequently. Originally we were supposed to have 10 people with us but in the end we had 7 people 5 adults and 2 kids (5 & 7). My girls completely loved the house.The fact it had a game room and multiple bunks was right up their alley. The house was super clean and everything about the house was sent in a welcome pdf via email and was printed out and in a nice book in the seating area in the house. Having a bathroom on each level was my mother in laws favorite part as she can't go up and down steps rather well. There was plenty of room to spread out and the view from the back deck is beautiful. Everything in Camelback isn't far at all. My girls also liked the windy roads, felt like they were on a roller-coaster. Definitely would stay again and recommend to anyone looking for a nice place with plenty of room and clean to stay.

Whitetail Lodge Getaway

Fantastic Property in The Poconos

I have been going to the Poconos for over 30 years. Now we go with my children and grand children. This property or should I say beautiful home is hands down one of the best place we have ever stayed. Property & home clean and has modern essential. Property owners are wonderful and great to deal with. Love this place and so close to Camelback for skiing and indoor pool. Love it and can't wait to return to this property in February. Thank you Laura and Larry. No disappointment at all. 100% great.

Great getaway

House was great for group with kids ranging 8-17. Just as described, everything was clean and we had all we needed. The basement with the ping pong table provided hours of fun, as did the basketball court down the hill. The pool was also lovely. The home is townhouse-style, connected to another unit, but is on the end so it felt really private. Couldn't see any other homes out front or back; didn't see or hear anyone the entire time. Laura was also very easy to communicate with.

Had a great time. The house was better than advertised. Kids took over the basement and had a blast. Spent most of our time at the waterpark. The location is convenient, private, and quiet.

A great experience

We had 4 adults and 3 children (ages 1, 10, & 12) stay comfortably at this rental. The kids loved the game room and community pool. The location was convenient for visiting Camelback. The hosts were responsive and welcoming. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend to friends.

Beautiful Home

This house exceeded our expectations. The house was spacious and clean. The game room on the lower level was perfect for our two kids and the house was sufficiently stocked with all the necessities. We ended our two week family vacation with five nights at this property. We enjoyed being within an hours drive of white water rafting and a train/bike ride in Jim Thorpe. We took a two hour drive to go to Hershey Park and spent one day doing the activities at Camelback Mountain. Beautiful views from the property. Loved seeing deer every time we drove in. We enjoyed being able to spread out and used the chess table and the ping pong table. Nice visit!!! Thank you!

Perfect place!

Our family of eight adults from five states had a wonderful time in this lovely area and beautiful condo. The space was more than adequate for all of us. We enjoyed being together, cooking, and playing games. We also hiked at the state park and swam in the community pool. If we had had the time, there were more things to do in the area that we didn't get to. We definitely want to be back!!

Basketball Tournament

Our annual visit for a basketball tournament! This property is beautiful, clean, stocked with everything you need and has loads of activities. Larry and Laura are wonderful and the communication is great. We hope to be back next June!

Great time with family

My family of four stayed here with my sister's family of four over Labor Day weekend. All together, we had four kids and four adults. There was still an extra bedroom that was never used! Yes, it is a 3-story townhouse, but it has plenty of space for kids to hang out in one area and adults to hang out in another. While they're playing air hockey in the gameroom downstairs, close that basement door and you won't hear a peep! We were in the area looking at sleepaway camps in the Poconos for our older kids, and this was a great spot. We used the community pool and tennis courts on multiple occasions, and the property is a 5-minute drive from a local brewery with a cool outdoor play area (wiffle ball, cornhole, etc.). The outlets are also 5 minutes away, and they have pretty much any outlet store you could imagine. One day we drove 40 minutes to see a Wilkes Barre Railriders minor league baseball game -- [one Andrew Jackson bill]* for tickets right behind home, [Lincoln bills]* for tickets in the outfield. The kids basically did not want to leave this trip. Mornings on the little balcony were quiet and spectacular, watching the sunrise over the mountains. Laura checked in on us throughout the stay and everything was easy. You won't have any problems staying at this property. Very clean, cutely decorated, and well-managed. If we are in the area again, we will definitely stay here again! *Sorry for being vague about the currency! Vrbo's algorithm flagged the review for mentioning rates, though they were public 2022 rates at a local minor league baseball game.

Great find for a family getaway!

Entire trip and stay was flawless and incredible. Great location and fantastic home. I truly felt like I was at my own weekend getaway property. Everything was clean and comfortable, the hosts were above and beyond helpful and accommodating. Would stay again and 100% recommend.

This property surpassed expectations. It is a great value and is exactly as described. The property is put together in a way to make your experience seamless, which allowed my family the time to enjoy the vibrant surroundings of the location. I loveeed the welcome wall, which included tons of resources for last minute excursions. The host, Laura, was truly a blessing, very easy to communicate with. We totally recommend!
