Unique stay on the Rehoboth Bay at Rehoboth Bay Marina. 2 bedroom, 1 bath, fully furnished house boat. Fully stocked kitchen, bedrooms and bathroom. Great location and beautiful sunsets! Walking distance to the beach and everything Dewey Beach has to offer. Complimentary parking and Wi-Fi included.

Fun Location with Plenty of room & Beautiful Sunsets

The house was surprisingly spacious and very, very clean! We enjoyed hearing nightly music from the Rusty Rutter which is located close by.

Great Stay, Some Hiccups

Clean, comfortable, houseboat with solid room for 2 adults, 2 tweens, and a 47 lb dog. Beautiful views and convenient location right on the Rehoboth Bay. The primary hiccup... a stormy night that intensely rocked the houseboat so much we had to evacuate. Travel insurance did not cover the hotel expense for that night. So understand the potential risk... but it is a super cool place to stay so maybe it's worth it.

Cute romantic getaway

We loved our stay on the house boat! The views of the sunset from the back deck were amazing every night. The house is well equipped for its small size, and is basically like staying in an RV on water. It was only my husband and I, and while there are plenty of beds I do think it would have been crowded with more people. The location is perfect for walking to restaurants and the beach. Just be careful walking back along the dock after a few drinks! The host was easy to communicate with and we plan on returning next year!

Wow!

What a beautiful place! Being past Columbus Day, the marina was empty and peaceful! The beds were very comfortable, the kitchen had enough supplies (minus dish cloths and dish towels and a cutting board), the AC/Heater system great! Lovely week close to fishing. Try Woodys nearby for great seafood and wonderful service. Suggest taking a bath mat, two door rugs to not traipse in wet shoes. Thank you Samuel for a lovely get away!

Nice view and quiet.

Quirky and great place to try out for a long weekend in the early Spring or Fall. During the Summer if it's a week long, would work nicely since most of your time will be out and about. We were looking for something different and near the water. This hit both targets. Easy assigned parking and nice view of the Bay. Quick walk across the street to the ocean. Everything was clean and new. Going to keep it the top checklist next time we're in the area.

Perfect little house boat!

Living on a houseboat for a week - what a cool experience! My husband, our little dog & I had a most relaxing time. Each day we made coffee & toasted biscuits for breakfast before heading out to look for treasures at the beaches or in the shops in Dewey, Bethany or Rehoboth. It was perfect sweatshirt weather but sadly too chilly & windy to sit out on the front of the houseboat. At the end of the day it was great to bring back takeout & watch tv, read & laugh about the day & the friendly people we met. We highly recommend this rental. Spencer was quick to respond to our questions & this sweet place was clean & beds very comfortable. Loved this sweet getaway!

Peaceful getaway

Thoroughly enjoyed spending our 40th wedding anniversary in a houseboat. Centrally located in Dewey DE for quick side trips to Lewes, Rehobeth, DE and Ocean City, MD. Quiet and peaceful, just perfect!

Interesting Corcumstances

My wife and I booked the house boat for a quick get away for our 29th anniversary. Remnants from Ian were still hitting the East Coast…. Not an issue for us. We got to the boat and it appeared water had been forced in through doors and windows , seeing that wet dog paws and wet feet would not be fun, we locked the boat back up and reached out to Spencer. At that point I worked on a place to go for us and the dog…. Spencer was very attentive and offered us an alternate location but I already booked a place…. In the end it all worked out Spencer was very easy to work with to sort everything out. Boats in a great location and very charming. Unfortunate set of circumstances but a happy ending

Our new home away from home

So this was an escape from Firefly (bc we live right by the festival) and it turned into an amazing weekend! Loved everything about it. Spend 90% of the trip on the deck watching the birds, boats, etc. The best part was falling asleep to the rocking of the boat, which brought me back to when I was a kid on my grandfather's old wooden boat back on the Jersey beach. :) Yes, the Rusty Rudder has music at night, but it's no match for the rockin' boat! Spencer was awesome answering all our questions right away. All the crowds were gone for the most part. The only thing is next time we will bring a wagon so we don't have to make a few trips from the boat to the car! LOVE this little slice of heaven!!!

Tide Tables

It would be nice if you list the tide tables for this location. We loved it but weren't aware that we would have to wade to the dock when we came back from an evening out. Just a suggestion, otherwise everything else was great. Close to food and entertainment really relaxed and enjoyed this I would do it again!!!

Amazing property

Absolutely amazing! Definitely would recommend. We have a wonderful time. Place was walking distance to everything. You could hear the music from the deck. Beautiful sunset views. Only recommendation would be a shower outside, so that you could wash the sand off! Definitely will be booking again.

Wonderful getaway!

This houseboat was such a wonderful little getaway spot! It was so clean and in a great location, in walking distance to restaurants and the beach. We loved sitting outside to watch the sunset, it was very peaceful.

Unique stay

We had a great time renting the houseboat. It was the most unique VRBO I have ever stayed in. Sitting off the back dock watching the sunset was fantastic. The boat is a short walk to the Rusty Rudder where you could listen to live music or you could come back and hear the music from the back deck. The beach was a short walk away. The finishes in the boat were lovely and well thought out. The property manager was super responsive and very easy to communicate with. I am looking forward to the chance to stay there again.

Unique waterfront experience in Dewey Beach.

Adorable houseboat nestled in a marina in Dewey Beach with daily views of the sun setting over the Rehoboth Bay. Extremely peaceful with all the amenities you need. I most enjoyed sitting on back patio watching the boats go by. Also, free live music entertaining me every night from the Rudder (but softly….was never loud and you could never hear a thing once you went inside the boat). Perfect combo. The contact, Spencer, was extremely responsive. Renting again in September.

Interesting experience

It's very clean inside. However it's at the very end of the boat dock and a trek if you're taking a cooler or something. The two beds were made up nice, and living room was comfortable. The upstairs loft beds were not made up, so we had to do that for ourselves. It is near restaurants which is nice. It was fun hearing the live music from the bars at night. The little patio off the back of the boat is nice. Being the only houseboat there was interesting, as you see all the other boats come and go throughout the day. The kitchen is small as would be expected. There is only a range and microwave. The microwave is very low power. It's not really practical for a family for more than a day or two. The toilet needed to be pumped out before we got there, I think. We thought it was an interesting experience overall, but left a day early due to the smell.

Unique, Memorable Vaca on a Houseboat!

Thanks to the reviews, the houseboat was what we expected it to be. We appreciate the owner for answering our questions promptly. We were comfortable, enjoyed making breakfast in the kitchen, and having coffee and watching sunsets on the deck. Our son loved the loft. We brought our dog and there was space for her crate and she loved walking to the beach in the morning. I doubt we’ll ever forget this vacation. 😊
