This listing is for a condo at The Summit Beach Resort, it's located right along the World’s Most Beautiful Beaches and within walking distance to great restaurants, a golf course, and other family attractions. The Summit Beach Resort offers guests onsite amenities such as two large swimming pools, Summit Tiki Bar, Summit Market, Bikini Bob’s Restaurant, hot tubs, picnic areas with grills, tennis courts, a basketball court, three shuffleboard courts, and a fitness center. During the Summer, kids can enjoy Resort Collection’s Adventure Zone activities onsite, including fan favorite Dive-In Movies on the pool deck at dusk. Each suite is fully furnished, providing all the comforts of home. The Summit is one of the biggest resorts and offers some of the best values on the beach.

This unit is unique because it is a penthouse with 3 full bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms! Most at the Summit just have 1 Bedroom and 1.5 Bathrooms. Experience this beautiful penthouse with breathtaking views of the Gulf of Mexico!

The 15th floor offers unobstructed views of the Gulf of Mexico as well as breathtaking sunsets.

Condo was dated and very low quality paint job. Compared to most units we have rented I almost cried when I saw it and apologized to my family that got there later to warn them. Kitchen wasn’t well stocked. Some pans were unusable. One meal had to be changed because we didn’t have a pan to make pancakes. I spent almost 200.00 buying thing that should have been there. Condo sleeps 9 had 6 plates and 4 regular size forks. No extra trash bags or toilet paper. No measuring cups. I had to buy pans to fix bacon. Location was great and views were great although cushions on the patio furniture would be nice. The cable job on one bathroom was unsafe and conical that someone thought it was ok to put a toilet on a platform where only one foot would touch the ground. Painting over textured wallpaper is just tacky. This was the Clayton homes of condos.

Honestly? Disappointed. We saw the more recent reviews mentioning mold, dirty condo, stains everywhere, so before we arrived, I reached out to the host about our concern since we were coming with toddlers, babies etc.They assured that those issues were being addressed. Day 1, we arrive. Condo is filthy. Very dated (which is not a huge deal) but it doesnt look like the uploaded photos where it appears in great shape.The floors turned our socks black within minutes, there was mold on the ceiling (in a fairly large area), random holes on the walls/ceilings, in the kitchen a broken piece of floor trim was laying face up with nails sticking out, garbage disposal didnt work, tv remotes were missing, only 1 roll of TP per bathroom (for 12 people), stains covering the sofa, i believe only 3 bowls in the entire kitchen to name a few.I reached out to the host once we discovered these issues. They sent out cleaners and a professional to clean the couch, which we appreciated, but it would've been great if they had done those things after seeing the past negative reviews instead of when we were already there. I missed several hours with my family due to having to stay at the condo and wait for cleaners etc.Then a couple days in, a man showed up to deal w the remotes/tvs(which again is a good thing, but he came completely unnanounced) no one told us he was coming.Overall, location was good. Beautiful view of ocean.Thats about it though. I would not stay here again.

Unfortunately, this stay was not what we expected. Everything was dirty. The bed linens had stuff on it- so we had to wash all of those, the showers had so much scum and mold, I felt uneasy giving my baby a bath in there. There was eyelashes and trash on the side of the nightstands, and it just felt like there was a layer of dirt everywhere- not just sand. There was also mysterious stains on the couches and beds.We stayed here in 2023, and it was not this bad. Unfortunately, the beds were just as bad as the first time- dirty, and springs poking up in every direction. The shower doors also felt like they were goin to fall off its hinges at any given moment. It feels like it went downhill really fast. I really am not a complainer- I work in the customer service industry. But, when you have to clean everything before you sit anything down on vacation- that says something.

WORST condo I have EVER stayed in

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were very disappointed with the condition of the unit it was far from what the listing photos portrayed. The images were quite misleading and did not reflect the true state of the space. Upon arrival, we were immediately concerned by several cleanliness and maintenance issues.The comforters were stained, and it was clear they hadn’t been properly laundered. The air unit closet door had a vent that was caked with dust and rust it looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in years. Several baseboards throughout the unit were blackened with grime, and parts of the ceiling were peeling. In the kitchen, there appeared to be mildew or mold on the ceiling, and what looked like mold beneath the cabinets. Some of the showers didn’t get hot, and the single bathroom by itself the shower does not drain so you were standing there and water while you’re taking a shower. It all felt extremely unsanitary. The living room furniture was also in poor condition, covered in visible stains. We had to lay sheets over the couch and chairs just to feel comfortable sitting on them. Additionally, the elevators were incredibly slow, which became a consistent frustration during our stay. On a positive note, the walk to the beach was convenient, and the pool area with the Tiki bar was well-maintained. It was nice to see staff actively cleaning and caring for that space, which offered some reassurance. We spoke with several other guests during our stay, and many shared similar complaints about the condition of their units. I reached out to the rental company on the day we arrived to express our concerns, and unfortunately, the only solution offered was to send housekeeping again a temporary fix that didn’t address the underlying issues. Unfortunately, we will not be returning to this property. While the location and pool area were nice, the overall condition of the unit was unacceptable.

Family Vacation

Everything was amazing! Loved the condo, easy to get in and out. 2 pools, 2 hot tubs, 2 wading pools for the little, easy beach access. Has a tiki bar poolside, mango loco is hands down the best drink! Bikini Bobs is very affordable lunch that’s pool side. My host was amazing with fast communication! Only thing bad to report is the elevators. Main elevators are slow and large groups of people waiting. There are other elevators on the property but was told they wasn’t working. Thank you to the host! It was an amazing week with the family!

Friends Trip

Me and a group of my friends came to stay for a week, and had the best time!! The condo was way nicer than we could have imagined and very clean. Only thing I will say is to bring your own toilet paper and washing supplies! You will also have to clean the towels yourself almost daily. But besides that we had a blast and would 100% stay again!!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Condo was nice but could use some TLC. There was a lot of damaged areas that would have made the condo more appealing, but nothing that bothered us. The condo floors were very dirty and the beds had sand in them from the slider doors being open. We cleaned the floors when we got there and washed the bedding because our feet were full of sand and black, but the next day the floors were back to the same way we started so it’s definitely from the sliding glass doors being open and the sand blowing in from the beach. I would recommend bringing your own pillow as the pillows aren’t very comfortable but every thing else was great!The pool area is amazing and the beach walk out was great, they even had a bin with sand toys for kids so you don’t have to buy or bring any!The condo was adequately stocked with dishes and cooking items and all the appliances worked well. The bathrooms were very clean and updated and spacious. The balcony was wonderful with plenty of seating for our family to enjoy coffee on in the morning. Would recommend this condo!

i was traveling with a group of girls for a bachlorette party. this place treated us well. we all had a place to sleep and the location allowed us to walk to nearby places or uber short distances

Beautiful condo!

Beautiful condo, everything was as described. The only issue was the air could not keep up but maintenance was coming to check it out when we were checking out so hopefully they got it fixed. Lots of room for a condo and we enjoyed having the pools as well as being right there on the beach. The restaurant on site had lots of options for a decent price but it was also not far from lots of restaurant options.

Great Week long stay with 10 people

Overall, this place was fantastic and delivered on the promises in the description. Two rooms have beds that are firm, but definitely not concrete like as in some other reviews. I like it cold inside and the AC unit kept it at 68 in the blistering heat. Elevators were never an issue even being on the 15th floor. Very rare to wait more than a couple minutes. We definitely recommend the elevator on the West side for shortest line and quickest route to the room. Beach was beautiful from our room. Check in was smooth and even got in a little early with no problem. Pools, bar, and bikini bobs were all great at the resort. Highly recommend this unit and /or renting from this company.. Great communication before and during trip.

Other than the water itself, we were very disappointed. Condo was not clean and not taken care of. Broken cabinet doors, shower door did not open and shut properly, only 3 chairs at the table because others were broken and all of the beds slept horribly especially the 2 kings in the guest room. Couch sat horribly. We are also not drinkers so the bar at the pool was not good. Adults drunk by lunch and the pool was not a family friendly place at all. We would not come back.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: In my opinion this unit is not up to pent house standards. The master bedroom and the room with the 2 king size beds stays hot and the ceiling fan will only work on low speed. The beds were the hardest beds we have ever felt. (Feels like you are sleeping on plywood) the 3 bed room was the only room that would get cold and the beds were the only comfortable beds in the unit. The toilet in the 2nd bedroom is on a tile thrown my 5 year old fell trying to get down. In the kitchen one cabinet is broken off and was held up with a broken stool when we arrived in the unit and the stool had to stay up againt the cabinet the entire time or the cabinet would fall. One of the kitchen chairs was broken. The showers did not look like they were cleaned. I'm not one to nit pick or even leave reviews but this unit definitely needs some upgrades! Other than that the summit was a great place to be we loved the location and the options of food drinks and the market all down stairs!
