Steps to Pool! Easy Beach Access!

HIghlights

One of the best features of this home is the location. Just a few steps from one of the two neighborhood pools and just a few steps further to the beach access boardwalk. Yet, located at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac, this home offers the best of both worlds. Pro-Tip: Walk past the pool for a short cut to the beach!

The Space

Step inside and you'll discover updated, comfortable furnishings in the spacious living room and a well-equipped kitchen. There is a dining table as well as counter seating for mealtime and lots of outdoor seating to enjoy that gulf breeze.

There is one bedroom with a Queen bed on the lower level as well as a full bath. Upstairs you’ll find a King room with a twin over full bunk with twin trundle. The third room has two twin over twin bunk beds. Dream Weaver comfortably sleeps 12 beach goers.

There is a conveniently located, partially enclosed outdoor shower with hot and cold water.

* One pool in Morgantown is heated. However, because the HOA maintains the pool, we are unable to guarantee the status of the water temperature on any given day.
* Snowbirds inquire about special off-season, long-term stays.
* Renter must be at least 25 years of age. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

Fort Morgan and Morgantown

Morgantown is a lovely, unique seaside community featuring two swimming pools, a kiddie pool, two lighted tennis/pickleball courts and several beach access boardwalks. When you first arrive, you'll notice pride of ownership in this pastel colored, beautifully landscape neighborhood. Guests really enjoy walking and biking along the quiet streets and many rent golf carts and enjoy sunset drives. If you have small children or just prefer the convenience of parking close to the beach, there is a public lot just to the west of Morgantown.

Located a scenic 15 miles from Gulf Shores, you'll find everything you need close at hand. Dollar General and Sassy Bass Market are just a few miles away and have all the basics you might need. There are several restaurants nearby offering a variety of tasty dishes. Tacky Jack's, Sassy Bass (2 locations), Coast and brand-new Jesse's (opening soon) to name a few. Some venues even offer live, local entertainment.

Fort Morgan fishing pier is now open, and anglers will have access to convenient inshore fishing and the abundant species locally available.

Be sure and visit nearby Bon Secour Wildlife Refuge with over 7,000 acres of coastal habit. You'll be able to hike through the preserve and observe local flora and fauna. There are 4 trails, varying in size and terrain, and you'll definitely want to make time to visit this natural oasis.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great vacation in Morgantown! The house was great and Gail could not have been more helpful. The only disappointing issue was lack of bowls, pots, pans, and baking dishes. What we had was minimal and old. I like to cook on vacation and we had to constantly clean the only glass dish and frying pan we had. Not Gail's fault at all but could someone reach out to the owners and let them know they need a huge upgrade on kitchen supplies? Only 1 dishtowel, no dish rags. For the price of the house I shouldn't have to bring my own supplies or buy them there. Overall, the house and location were great! Also, all the bathrooms are attached to the bedrooms. Not a big deal for us but there is no "common" bathroom on the main floor.

Family friendly!

Our stay was great!! The house suited our needs and its location was perfect. The entire neighborhood and beach had a family feel to it. The paved roads were nice for night walks or morning jogs too.

Disappointed

The property is in need of updating. The mattress in bedrooms are old and uncomfortable . The house is not comfortably furnished. We were not allowed to keep it cool enough because of a restriction on temperature setting. The stair rail was really dirty. One bath had hair in the tub. Regular coffee pot not a keurig type. We found the beach nice and pool nice

Amazing Family Vacation!

Wow! We enjoyed every minute of our first ever family vacation in Fort Morgan at the Dream Weaver VRBO. Check in was a breeze and the home was big enough and spacious enough for all 10 of us. We also loved they allowed my brother's pup to stay with us too. The community is so welcoming and the walk to the beach is very short. The pool is right there, which is great with little ones! The sunsets were breath taking. We did have a few hiccups but we are pretty laid back and worked around them but it was a bummer. The room with that was advertised as the "bunk room" with the 4 twin size beds needs major updating. My son fell right through bottom bunk bed which was very concerning. We planned on letting our 4 boys sleep in there but we were concerned for their safety so my brother took over that room and just slept on the floor. None of the beds were used since the beds were very unstable. The bunk beds in the master bedroom also probably need replaced as well as the bottom bunk bed was cracked in the wood and the trundle bed had two giant holes under the mattress. My oldest son slept on the floor in our master bedroom but my other 2 boys were able to sleep on the bunks just fine in the master bedroom and we felt okay with that. The comforter in the master bedroom needs to be replaced as it had some holes in it but again, we are not picky people but we know others are. The main level bedroom was great as was the living room. My sister's family slept on the couch. Thank you!

There was plenty of space for all of us to stay, and the neighborhood was very peaceful and quiet. Only about a 20 minute drive to most restaurants/ shops, which we preferred. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would return to this rental.

Love rocking on decks and could see kids at pool from house. The only real problem we had with house was couch is not made to sit on it’s made to lounge on. It was very hard for older people to get off of and no other chairs to sit on. Over all besides the weather I would give house a 7 out of 10.

Dream Weaver

I enjoyed my stay at Dream Weaver which was the 6th rental I have stayed in Ft Morgan. That being said, it was also my most disappointing property rental. The owners need to come down and check the safety of the outdoor items they have including the rusty decorations on the deck and a rusty rocking chair that I wouldn't let my granddaughters sit in. We went to the beach and washed off our feed with the hose provided for that purpose and my friend sat in the plastic Adirondack chair in the car port which collapsed and he dislocated his finger bracing himself. The trip to the ER to fix his finger was a whopping $11,000 charge! Thank God for health insurance, and at least I know where the new ER is located. Linda our liaison was informed of this incident. Cleanliness of this unit was questionable. There was no vacuum cleaning for my use. There was a broom and dust pan (which was convex so the dirt went under the pan). I went to the Dollar General and bought a dust pan that worked. The bed in the first floor bedroom was awful! It's a bad mattress....Replace it! Beds are the #1 comfort I look for in a rental and that bed got a zero rating. The clean towels were stored under the first floor bathroom cabinet along side the toilet bowl brush! Get a toilet brush stand! The bathroom upstairs for the main room had a leaky toilet when used repeatedly. And there were no plastic kitchen cups. I won't be looking to rent this property next year.

Perfect location

This house is officially our favorite! The house is great and the location is perfect! We loved having the pool steps away and the walking distance to the beach was great! The layout of the house was nice! Contacting property manager was easy when needed and she was quick to respond when we contacted her! The only complaint I have is that the mattress in the downstairs bedroom is very uncomfortable. It needs to be replaced because it felt really lumpy. My family and I have already decided that this will be our go to house for our yearly beach trip!

Great Location

Thanks for allowing us to stay at your place! What a great location. We were close enough to the beach and far enough from city to have a great, relaxing week. We'll definitely considering this place again.
