About this space:
Bay B Shark is a canal front home with covered outdoor space. Fish/crab right at your own back door. Within walking distance of Dorado's Dive Club. Texas Saltwater Adventures fishing charter is just two lots away. Just a short drive/golf cart ride to the beach.
The space:
The entire place is yours. 2 bedrooms and 2 bath that sleeps 5 in beds, and one on the couch. House is fully stocked with everything you need to make this your home away from home. Smart TV’s, coffee maker, dishwasher, dishes and cooking utensils, and washer and dryer are just a few of the amenities included. Upstairs has a large covered deck overlooking the canal. Game room and bar area downstairs. Covered pavilion at the waterfront. Bring your boat and dock at bulkhead
Other things to note:
There are exterior security cameras on the property that cover the driveway, exterior doors, and pavilion area.
The property is treated by Mosquito Authority to keep the mosquitoes away.

Great location and value. Host is very accessible and everything is in working order. Listing is just as described in a quiet neighborhood. House stayed a constant 70 degrees and the layout is spacious.

My family and I enjoyed this property and how it was so close to anything you want to do. We even had groceries delivered to the house. Home was nice and comfy and homeowner was very nice and easy to work with. We even added another night to our stay with such ease. We will defiantly be staying here again!

Cute little canal house

Lovely little house a couple minutes from the beach. We have stayed at other homes on shark lane and are glad to add another option to our fishing trips. James the owner is extremely responsive, house was just as described. We spent hours out back fishing and enjoying the gulf air.We utilized the crab traps and caught several blues although no keepers. Tides were pretty low our entire stay and probably why we only caught hard heads in the canal but my kids still loved very minute. We even took a kayak out for our kids first time in one. 10/10 will stay here again.

Absolutely perfect!

We simply adored this place! It was clean, well-stacked. So easy for check in/out. Fantastic amenities. We had a blast in the game room and with the kayaks. I don't know if TVs work, because we never even turned one on. When we were not playing, we spent all our time on the gorgeous balcony. We can't wait to book our next stay here! 💚

Fun Stay

Our family had fun staying here. Communication with the owner was great. We arrived right after a flood so there were a few minor things we ran across but the owner was easy to get a hold of and quick to respond. The check in process was so easy. The owner sent a link with everything you could think of about the house prior to our stay. Loved the ease of having that. House was clean and well stocked. We even added a crock pot we purchased for the week to the kitchen items for other renters to use.

27th Anniversary

We were very pleased with our stay. We had a small problem the first night with the shower but the owner was very responsive in working to get it taken care of as quickly as possible! The house did need a little bit of a better cleaning done, the blinds and ceiling fans and floors were not clean at all. We had to wipe down the counters with cleaner and also clean the fridge due to a bad odor when we got there, and there was dirty towels left under the bathroom counter I’m guessing from previous vacationers. It was a little frustrating considering we have to pay a cleaning fee included with our stay. I already felt bad about the shower problem, even though it was not our fault, and didn’t want to be an annoying person to the homeowner with more problems so we just let it be. It’s just something maybe the homeowners should look into with their cleaning crew. But that was minor to us considering the over all stay. The house is located in a very nice area, the neighbors are extremely nice. The porch was so nice to sit on in the mornings with our coffee. Loved the canal and the fishing! Even took the kayaks out which was fun!

Excellent property and owners! Definitely recommend

The owners are very helpful and offer excellent communication! The property is beautiful inside. Unfortunately, the weekend we were there, the weather was terrible with high winds and bad storms. We booked Bay B Shark specifically because it's a canal house and we planned on fishing (brought my dad fishing there because he's never saltwater fished), but there were NO fish in that canal. The guy at the bait shop agreed and said you have to go to the intracoastal or elsewhere to fish, and said the canals don't have great fishing :( Other that that, Bay B Shark provided everything we needed for a fun family time! Small complaint: it got very hot the 2nd night, although the thermostat remained on the same settings as the night before. Also, the neighbors across the canal were interesting. It made for great entertainment lol

Beach home was great! I received an email the morning of telling us of the time we could check in , we get there 25 minutes early so we sat outside no big deal, all of a sudden the cleaning crew arrives! Oh no how is the house supposed to be cleaned in 25 minutes, we leave drive around come back 30 minutes later cleaning crew is gone. I honestly was thinking if they cleaned anything and was worried later that evening We go to grill burgers outside the people before us had left food outside on the grill (onions) and the dishes in the dishwasher were completely dirty the pans had grease in them I had to run the dishwasher so we had no clean dishes, at this point I was scared to even know if the beds had clean sheets or if the towels were clean. I just realized too I was charged 200 for an additional bed which I don’t understand why when it says it sleeps 6-7 and I booked for 5 . I don’t fault the host for the cleanliness of the home that’s on the people that rented before and the cleaning crew, that’s what they are paid to do. Maybe I’m just too critical I make sure all dishes are cleaned and I wash all towels before we check out. But that’s just me!

In terms of the $200 this has been clarified with the invoice we sent to you. It was not an additional guest fee it was an additional day you elected to add to your stay. Most gracious hosts!

Perfectly charming and well-appointed accommodations. Five star communication. Easy check in/out. The energy of this darling home is pure peace and joy. I just cannot say enough great things about the home, hosts and location. We loved being able to spend the day at the beach and then head down the street to what feels like a completely different place (even though it is soooo close). It's like having two vacations in one! This was my second time there in just a month, and I can't wait to go back. :-)

Very clean, inviting home.

We had the best time, the canal is perfect for our 22 foot boat and the dock was equipped with fish cleaning table, electricity, water and everything you would need. The house was very nice and clean and has all the things you will need. The big shower down stairs was amazing. We even hung out and played ping-pong between fishing sessions in the game room. 10 out of 10, we will be back.
