Quiet country feeling in the city. 3 bed 2 bath.

Newly remodeled 3 bedroom 2 bath single level home across from horse ranch, minutes to winery, brewery, dining, shopping, sporting venues (Maverick’s ice hockey, Royal’s baseball, Chiefs football,) walking/biking trails, 10 minutes to historic Truman Square and 20 minutes to Kansas City downtown.

No shoes are to be worn on carpet . A bench is by the front door for convenience and a shoe tray for wet or soiled shoes.

There is so much to enjoy in the KC area... search with your favorite browser to see all there is but here are a few favorites...

Great location!

Property is only about a 30 min drive from downtown KC. Horse farm across the street was enjoyable to gaze at during morning coffee. House is very comfortable and plenty of room for a family of four. The only downside was the construction going on in the adjacent neighborhood.

Perfect Get Away

Everything was clean and comfortable. Wi-Fi was spotty however we experienced storms so that was understandable. We couldn’t figure out the TV but we were visiting with friends so found it unnecessary. Laundry facilities were welcome. Horse farm offered fun views

“This was a beautiful and well-kept place in a perfect, convenient location. As for the mattresses—comfort is always subjective, but they did seem a bit on the firm side. That said, everything else was wonderful, and we’d gladly stay here again!”

Great, beautiful and relaxing place!

We all loved the place and was super relaxing and nice to not be right in the city. Very easy to get to places as well! We loved the view and sitting outside peacefully. Recommend for sure!

We have stayed here before and as always; this property was perfect for us. Quiet, Clean and well appointed. Out in the country but only minutes from anything you need. We will always look to see if this property is available anytime we plan an overnight stay in Independence, MO

Delightful stay!

This house is somehow even more beautiful in person than the pictures (that never happens!) smelled so fresh and clean, and we loved the spacious yard yet only like 20 minutes to tons of fun places! Came with our 4 kiddos to explore the area and this was the perfect home to stay in! Well-maintained and stocked with spices, shower stuff, games and fun puzzles for our youngest, and tons of extra bedding and towels. So many memories made. Our boys loved playing football in the yard. Thanks for the binder of suggestions as far as food and places to visit -we tried many of them and agreed they are awesome! Plan to stay here again for sure!

Everything was great except the smell!

The house is lovely. The problem was upon entering, it smelled very musty. Then when we took showers, it smelled like sewage back up. There must be something going on with the drainage system and maybe some moisture in the house? Other than that, the managers responded quickly when we told them about the smell but there wasn’t much to be done ing our stay. The listing said there was play equipment for kids and we did not see any. We were busy exploring KC so we did not have much time at the house. I would give five stars if it wasn’t for the smell!

Perfect for our stay

Extremely clean. All bedrooms on same floor with plenty for room. Beautiful home in beautiful location. Easy to get anywhere. Will definitely stay again! Deserves an extra star.

Beautiful and quite surroundings

Our host were very accommodating with our early arrival. The house sits on a beautiful area with a horse ranch across the road. We found the house very relaxing after returning from the chiefs game. House was very clean. The only things missing were tvs in the bedrooms. It was difficult to watch t movies and sports that 5 different people agreed to. Internet also buffered throughout the programming. We would certainly stay here again.

Great Stay!

We had a wonderful stay at this property. Perfect location for attending the Chiefs game and exploring Kansas City. Clean and well stocked. If we come out for another Chiefs game we will surely stay here. Communication with the owner was great also with a few questions I had. Thank you for a great place to stay!

Perfect location

Stayed for 3 days /2 nights for Chiefs game. Location to stadium was perfect, very easy access. The pictures do not do this place justice! Very clean and well equipped.
