The Cabin on Blueberry Hill, Saluda, NC, offers a cozy getaway. Situated on a hill with rows of blueberry bushes, once you step on the property, you will not want to leave. A 2-mile drive to downtown Saluda, you will find restaurants, shops, hiking, cycling, kayaking, mountains, waterfalls, and national parks. The cabin is a short drive to Greenville, Asheville, and Hendersonville. We are dog-friendly ($75 non-refundable pet fee - per dog). Cleaning fee is $125 required for all bookings.

PROPERTY DESCRIPTION
The living area benefits from a high peaked ceiling while still feeling cozy and inviting, but if the weather is warm, you will almost certainly want to be out on the screened-in porch that runs the length of the house. (Who are we kidding? If it's cold, grab a blanket and enjoy it anyway!) Blueberry bushes adorn the property, and there is a fire pit that would be perfect on a chilly evening.

To access the king bed, you will have to use the spiral staircase; there is no door to this area. However, the bed is comfortably nestled away in the back of the spacious loft for ideal privacy.

To access the third bedroom, you will exit the side of the home and take a few stairs to access the entrance of the bottom portion of the cabin. (Or, you can walk from the driveway down to the back entrance.) Equipped with its own bathroom, sitting area, and coffee bar, this space would be perfect for the adults to step away from the kids or for another couple!
The cabin is wired with "Alexa controls." Listen to Sirius XM or Pandora anywhere in the cabin and even on the porch. Alexa will be happy to play whatever you request.

HOUSE RULES
*We ask that you treat our home with the same respect that you do on your own.

*The home is a non-smoking and recreational drug-free space. Do not smoke cigarettes, vapes, or cigars while in the home.

*Please do not flush anything besides toilet paper down the drain. (The cabin is on a septic system.)

*No open flames or candles are allowed on the property.

*A non-refundable pet deposit of $75, per pet, is required. If you have a pet with you, we ask that you kindly pick up after your furry loved one. If away, please crate your little one.

*Courtesy quiet hours from 10 pm - 8 am.

*Check-in is at 3 pm + Check-out is at 10 am.

*Parties and large gatherings are PROHIBITED.

*Only guests who are on the original booking are allowed to stay overnight. A non-refundable cleaning fee of $125 is due for each stay.

*Please load the dishwasher and press start before departure; you will find detergent under the sink.

*Before departure, please place all USED towels in the shower).

*Please throw away everything from the refrigerator and cabinets before check-out.

*Please notify us if any board game pieces are missing or damage has occurred.

*This is a family-oriented and child-friendly home. However, children and infants must be under active supervision by a parent or guardian at all times. All responsibility and duty of care for them must be provided by you, including their equipment and needs.

GUEST ACCESS
You will have full access to the cabin, up and downstairs porch areas, front and back yard, and the fire pit. Most importantly, we make sure our guests have space to enjoy all of the outdoor property including the firepit, yard games, and hammocks.

At this time, Lake Hosea is not accessible for fishing or kayaking. The lake is in the process of being drained to repair the pipes. If you're looking for kayaking, tubing, and fishing destinations, we can help you find the perfect fit. YOU CAN walk around the lake, which is a lovely walk to take your children or puppy friend!

GETTING AROUND
Do I need to rent a car?

Yes, unfortunately, the quaint town of Saluda does not offer Lyft or Uber. Rental services are available at the Asheville Airport and Greenville-Spartanburg Airport.

Are there services to pick me up for winery and brewery tours?

Yes! The Regal Ride and Van in Black are two luxury van services that will pick you up and drop you off back at the cabin! Make sure that you mention Stephanie from the Cabin on Blueberry Hill sent you!!
