Sunrise Boat House (SBH) is a charming, renovated, 1960's lake-front home with numerous amenities and large water views. The updated, 1400 square foot, 3-bedroom, 2-bath home, has an inviting coastal cottage feel.

The spacious lake-facing deck is a perfect spot to put your feet up, sip your coffee, watch the sunrise, and see the abundant wildlife of the area. The deck includes two chaise lounge chairs with thick, comfy cushions, two zero-gravity lounge chairs, and a hammock nearby, for you to relax and take in the lake view.

At SBH, you're in store for some fun on the water, as we include four kayaks (3 singles & 1 double), two stand-up paddle boards, an 18' x 6' floating oasis pad. These water toys and numerous other smaller floats will certainly help you to enjoy lake life to the fullest!

The home's new, (Fall 2023) private dock, includes a large seating/lounging area that begins at the water's edge (when lake is full). It houses 4 chairs & a coffee table as well as two lounge chairs. A rolling umbrella provides you with some extra shade wherever you'd like it! The dock also features a wide set of stairs that provide easy entry into the lake, and a dock box for storing all your favorite lake toys at arm's reach.

If you bring a boat along, you won’t need to search for the nearest launch, as SBH offers a private boat launch right into the calm waters of the large cove it is situated on. The 12' x 20' floating dock has space for 2 boats to be moored on its longer sides. Security for your vehicle(s) and boat(s) is provided with two cameras that cover the driveway/parking areas at SBH.

The home has central heating and air conditioning as well as ceiling fans throughout. All beds have high quality mattresses with memory foam toppers and soft, high thread count, 100% cotton sheets. Linens are washed in free & clear detergents without added fragrance. SBH is eco-friendly, using compostable trash bags, LED lighting, refillable soaps, and encouraging recycling.

There are 2 full bathrooms in the home and both bathing and lake towels are provided for guest use. Showers include Hyatt Hotels Argan Oil Collection shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. A washer/dryer unit is available for any laundry needs that should arise and free and clear laundry detergent is provided.

The well-equipped kitchen has all the amenities of home including a reverse osmosis drinking water system, granite countertops, new stainless steel appliances (2022), and a large selection of bakeware and ceramic coated pots & pans. For holiday meal prep, there is a large roasting pan, electric hand mixer, mixing bowls, and more. Dishes, silverware, and glassware will service 10+. Cocktail hour is also covered, as the home includes wine, beer, rocks, champagne, and martini glasses.

The kitchen is open to the family room and lake view, so you can enjoy the gorgeous vistas while preparing meals; or step outside onto the deck and sear your food to perfection on the 6-burner grill. The deck also hosts two tables, each with an umbrella and seating for 4, so you can enjoy dining al fresco.

If having someone else cook is more your idea of vacation, this home is a quick 5 minute boat ride to the Rusty Anchor/Catfish Johnny’s Restaurant as well as Liberty on the Lake Restaurant and Bar (and marina). Additionally, the Chapin Publix Grocery Store and Lowes Foods (6.0 miles away) will deliver pre-made deli foods and groceries to the house via Instacart.

For entertainment beyond the lake, the family room has a 70” SMART TV (Roku) with Spectrum basic cable and lots of comfy seating that allows you to enjoy the tv or lake views. Each of the 3 bedrooms has a wall-mounted 32" SMART TV (Roku) as well. For additional fun, game-night awaits with a cabinet stocked full of board games, card games, and puzzles.

When it’s finally time for some evening relaxation, star gazing over the lake here is incredible! A backyard fire pit and 6 Adirondack chairs are ready and waiting for you to roast marshmallows (expandable roasting sticks are in the kitchen) or enjoy your favorite beverage and swap tall tales about your fishing adventures!

While we would love to say that you can truly “escape from it all” at Sunrise Boat House, we do have Spectrum Internet Ultra, Wi-Fi, and excellent cell phone coverage… but we promise not to tell anyone if you don’t!
