Port A is my home away from home. This house was perfect. Everything was clean and ready for us when we arrived. The location was close to the beach and fairly close to everything else. I have no complaints.

Perfect for Our Family and Pup

We love this place! It’s our 3rd time to stay here. The location on 11th street is close to the beach as well as all the shops & restaurants in town. The beds are comfortable, kitchen is well stocked, it’s decorated nicely, nice & roomy and the ice machine is a nice addition.

Nice but room for improvement

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We really liked this rental but were disappointed in a couple of things. We were only there for 3 nights so we didn’t contact the property manager and just made the best of it.- The downstairs was a little too warm and seemed to have a difficult time getting cool. We slept in the downstairs bedroom and it was uncomfortably warm the whole time. The family members that stayed upstairs on the 2nd floor said the air blew super cold upstairs and they were really cold upstairs. It was strange that the upstairs was so much cooler than downstairs, it’s usually the opposite.- the pool on the property was in pretty bad shape. It looked like it was overdue for a clean. We didn’t use the pool due to uncleanliness concerns. We understand that sand in the pool is common but the water was green and there was algae on the pool walls with strange looking foam on top of the water.I will add that the unit was very clean when we arrived, the rooms are nicely decorated, and the rental is well equipped.

Great property and new wave rentals is Awesome!

We enjoyed this property. It’s close to beach 1-A and has a small community pool. Property was very clean and comfortable for the 6 of us who stayed. Cannot say enough good things about New Wave as the property manager—we had to move to a new location mid-way through our stay because the AC kept freezing over and they more than accommodated us. Great communication and customer service! Would absolutely stay again

Beach Getaway

The house was a perfect getaway for us. Close to the beach and anything you need in town. This house was set up to be the perfect home away from home. Best highlight was the ice machine. Definitely will plan another stay here.

A Wonderful Stay at New Wave Vacation Rent - Sea of Tranquility

I recently stayed at New Wave Vacation Rent - Sea of Tranquility and had a fantastic experience. The property was spotlessly clean, and the property is conveniently close to the beach. The staff was friendly and accommodating, making my stay truly enjoyable. Overall, it was a wonderful getaway, and I highly recommend Sea of Tranquility for a memorable vacation.

Great Stay

Looking for a place for 5 adults can be tricky. This property filled the bill. With all rooms have king or queen beds everyone was comfy. The kitchen was well stocked with all we needed to cook meals. The wine fridge was an added treat. We will be back

Great experience!

This place was perfect for our family vacation. We had 6 adults and 6 kids and there was plenty of space for us all. It was also very accommodating for kids. Plenty of space for our pack n plays to set up. Kitchen was stocked with all essential items. We loved having access to a pool as well. Will definitely be staying here again!

Family together at Port A

Grown kids, spouses, husband and I got together for several days. The property was perfect with separate bedrooms and bathrooms for each couple. I loved I had a downstairs bedroom and didn't have to climb stairs. The decor was lovely. Kitchen was nicely stocked. They even had poop bags for the dogs. The beach entrance is very close. Main attractions and restaurants were just around the corner. Yard was nice. We didn't use the pool but it was convenient. Love the second living area upstairs so younger people have their own space. Recommend for any group and we will probably book again.

Great place for a family vacation

The house was clean and accommodating. Close to the beach but no boardwalk or direct access. Beach was just a short 2 minute drive. Pool was nice and the area was very peaceful. The house was spacious and comfortably hosted our party of 7.

Our Mission is to give back and help Port Aransas maintain its natural beauty. With each booking a portion of proceeds will be given back quarterly to a local non profit. We will be selling and including: Protect Port A bracelets in all guest gift baskets. Our mission extends to our guests through our "Welcome Baskets." Each reservation will find a welcome basket when they arrive at our property. The basket includes items from local business partners as well as a Protect Port A trash bag. Use the bag to collect beach trash, then return the full bag to our office in exchange for a local gift certificate to be used during their stay and help keep our beaches cleaner than when you arrive.
