Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place in Surfside right across from the ocean with the perfect ocean view from the balcony and from 4 of the bedrooms.

Family friendly place short walk to beach

We all enjoyed our stay. The host Peter was great with answering questions quickly and so nice with everything. I would recommend staying here. We had 27 people with enough parking. The place was nice, clean, the AC is on point, will cool you off real quick. There a few restaurants in walking distance. Would book again.

Great location

Overall the place was really great - lots of common space to hang out while not out and about. The king beds need to be updated and be aware of the 5am trash/recycling pick-up almost every morning.

Great location with plenty of space

Property was in a great location and provided plenty of space for our group of 16 adults. Would stay again, note the first picture of listing of a porch view and not the house. You are one. Street back from beach and not directly on it.

I would recommend this location to anyone who has a large family. This was a family trip of 27 people and with 8 being children. The location was perfect for the beach. Within walking distance there’s a few bars/pubs to visit and only 10-15 min drive to Myrtle Beach. The two house accommodated my family. Each level had their own living room, full kitchen, 2 bathrooms and laundry room. Parking was no issue either. We all traveled from different places and had 7 SUVs. Would recommend this spacious home to anyone!

Great Location, home needs improvement

Highlights:The home is in a great location conveniently close to many local attractions and restaurants. The house itself is spacious, with generously sized bedrooms and a large common area that made it easy for our group to relax and spend time together. There was ample parking for multiple SUVs, and the foot washing station on the side of the house was a thoughtful and convenient touch after long days at the beach. Peter was extremely communicative, responsive, and helpful throughout the entire process, which we really appreciated.Areas for Growth:While the space met our needs, there are a number of areas that could be improved to make future stays even more enjoyable. The furniture is dated, and lighting in many rooms was too dim, with some light bulbs out entirely. We also noticed a significant amount of dust on the ceiling fans, which unfortunately triggered asthma for some in our group. There were cob webs above the fridge and on top of counters. Bathrooms and kitchen areas could use some attention, as we observed signs of mold and outdated fixtures. Some structural and safety concerns stood out, such as lifting floorboards on the main floor, which pose a tripping hazard especially for children. the locks often required multiple attempts (5–8 times) before unlocking, which made entry challenging. A few appliances and household items also need updating. Two TVs did not work, pots and pans were heavily scratched (we ended up purchasing our own), and there were cobwebs

Great fun!

The stay was great for our family. We could all stay together and enjoy time with my granddaughters who were competing against each other in Beach Volleyball.Things family reported that might need to be addressed:3rd Floor1. Very little hot water. It got cold after 2 showers, it says it can host up to 32 people. New hot water heater might help.2. Washing machine flashed "clean washer" when in use. Probably needs a new filter.3. Was not very clean when we arrived. Sand in bed, dust in many spots and dirty dishes.4. The window in front bedroom (Queen bed) would not close properly. Could not lock it down or get it to go all the way down.It made the room very cold. Had to put towels down to just try and keep the cold air out.5. The internet connection was labeled wrong in the guest book. Should say MyrtleVacay LLC.6. When we turned on heat, it said connetion failure. It did work, so not sure what to do there.2nd Floor:1. Master bedroom light does not work.2. Light bulbs are missing in living room.3. Refridgerator filter needs replacement.4. Front bedroom (Queen bed) does not seal tightly from weather.All of this is just for your information. Had the weather not been so cold, we would have enjoyed the beach a lot more. The home is ideally located and perfect for our family. Thank you so much for allowing us to stay the week.
