We had a lovely stay. The kids enjoyed the game room and all the beach toys. The house had everything needed for a large gathering or family. The kitchen was well stocked and the beds were comfortable! I was surprised by all the visible gas and oil rigging not far off the coast. There were 20 visible gas and oil rigs, which gave some real interest to the ocean view, and my husband and children enjoyed it when they were lit up at night- it gave a sight to look at in the ocean at night! Overall, a wonderful stay, thank you so much!

Beautiful property and beautiful location. There were so many beach toys, floaties, chairs, etc.. we did not have to buy or bring a thing. The backyard is the beach, you cannot beat the location. Far enough from downtown Gulf Shores to be uncrowded and close enough to make a quick trip (15-20 minute drive to main area). Rooms were well appointed, my 5 year old loved the game room! We went as a family of 6 so everyone had their own room, but we plan to rerun in the future and have another family or two join us, as there is plenty of room!

Loved this immaculate beachfront home!

We have been coming to the Fort Morgan area for 20 years. This was the cleanest, best maintained home we have ever used. The house has a gorgeous view and is just as pictured! We appreciated so many king bedrooms on the main level for our elderly family members! Plus the hosts were very accommodating and prompt. Just a perfect spot!

The Tortuga is incredible! We booked the house for our party of 15, including 9 children (6 teens!), because of the space! It far exceeded our expectations; we had plenty of room with extra room to spare! We loved the boardwalk straight to the beach! Fort Morgan is so much less congested than Gulf Shores, Destin, and 30A and to walk straight out of your house to the ocean and not compete for beach space is priceless! We enjoyed the back patio for morning coffee and evening drinks and could still enjoy a direct view of the ocean. The house was supplied well with paper goods, toiletries, and the kitchen was well stocked! Don't worry about bringing a beach chair because there are plenty to use! (That would have saved a lot of room in our car!) My 10 year-old wants everyone to know the bunk room is a kids' dream room! Nader communicated with us with every detail and made the process so easy to check-in and check-out! A bonus we found out, Wal-Mart will deliver groceries to the address, so we truly had an amazing, relaxing experience. We cannot rave enough about our stay

Incredible Beach House

We recently stayed at this incredible beach house for a week, and it was everything we’d hoped for and more! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with a warm welcome and a beautifully clean, well-appointed home that immediately made us feel relaxed. The house itself is spacious and tastefully decorated, with plenty of room for everyone to spread out and enjoy themselves. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to cook delicious meals, and the living area was perfect for cozy nights in after long days at the beach. The best part, though, was the breathtaking view of the ocean. We spent hours on the balcony, sipping coffee in the morning and watching the sunset in the evening. The beach was just steps away, perfect for morning walks, sandcastle building, or just soaking up the sun. The hosts were fantastic: friendly, responsive, and full of helpful tips about the local area. We felt so cared for throughout our stay, and their attention to detail truly made this trip unforgettable. We can’t recommend this beach house highly enough. It’s the perfect blend of comfort, style, and location. We’re already planning our next visit and this will definitely be our go-to spot for a beach getaway!

Wedding vows renewal and family reunion

This property is beautiful and very comfortably accommodated our family. We love Fort Morgan because it isn't so crowded. Our vow renewal ceremony on the beach was perfect! What an exquisite setting! Nader and Tanya, the owners, were very attentive and responsive. We really felt they were delighted to host our family and made us feel most welcome.
Our son "officiating" our vow renewal. How special!
40 years later "we're still the one!"

Lovely little getaway!

We had a truly wonderful and perfect stay! The house was beautiful, the location was ideal, and the beach was peaceful and relaxing. The hosts were incredibly hospitable and quick to respond—every question we had was answered promptly and thoroughly. They also provided helpful local information that made our trip even smoother. Excellent Choice

This rental was by far the cleanest home that we have rented. It was well supplied with extra blankets, extra garbage bags, toilet paper, paper towel, dishwasher detergent, washing machine pods and more. Many games to play on rainy days or in the evenings. Awesome views and access to the beach. Excellent choice for any family.

Just what we needed!

We had a group of 16 people ranging from 13-73. We had the best time. The kitchen was well stocked to feed and cook a variety of meals. The house was very clean and updated. Overall- we loved our stay and cannot wait to go back!

Family trip

The house exceeded our expectations. Everything was very clean and well organized. The location is great offering a beautiful, relatively private beach access. The house was well stocked providing all the little things we needed. The spacious, open living room accommodated our large group very well for family dinners. The loft/game room was perfect for the four kids to have a large space for themselves. The house takes in a lot of sunlight, provides great views out the windows and feels very comfortable and inviting. No complaints from anybody, we highly recommend.

Great beach vacation for our family

The Tortuga was perfect for our family reunion! Our group consisted of 3 young children and 10 adults, traveling to Gulf Shores from 5 states. The kitchen was well appointed. Having a 2nd refrigerator was a huge convenience. The short walk to the beach made it easy for carrying our beach things from the house. Each bedroom was spacious, and the new king size beds were very comfortable. We repeatedly talked of how great the house/location was for us. The owners were fantastic!!! We will definitely keep The Tortuga at the top of our list for future trips!

Ft Morgan Beach

We absolutely loved this house and the location. Being right on the beach was incredible. The location was peaceful without too many people on the beach and not too much traffic. The kitchen had everything we needed for multiple meals. Definitely recommend and hope to go back.

Beautiful beach home

This was such a great beach house with amazing views. There was plenty of space for our group. The bed was so comfortable, bedrooms were just the right size. More than enough utensils, and dishes, there was even crockpots! Thank you for sharing your home with my family ❤️

Absolutely great house!

Loved the place from the minute we walked in! Beautiful long bar counter was wonderful for serving the whole family, and a straight view from the kitchen to the ocean. Love, love, loved the floor plan and layout! Every thing was so clean, and every possible thing you could need was there! Many things that are generally not provided & in amounts for the whole stay…shampoo, body wash, beach towels, laundry and dishwasher tabs, a cute little coffee bar complete with syrups and cups! (Consider a coffee grinder to make it complete, which we might have accidentally left🙃). I could go on… The kids loved the slide, game and bunk room! Owners were very easy to work with, and very responsive to any communications. There was a power outage, and they called the power company within 10 minutes to let them know it was out. The ONLY thing which was a disappointment to me was the doors and window alarms set to turn off AC, if open. One of my musts for a stay at the beach is a waterfront with windows open so i can sleep to the sound of the waves. I understand there are people who might abuse the AC system and leave windows open when it’s hot out, but would have loved to had the option as the cool nights were cooler than what the AC was set on when I stayed. 10/10 I would definitely rent here again!! Thank you so much for the stay!!

Beautiful home with a more beautiful view

We stayed at the Tortuga for a Spring Break full family vacation and it was perfect! The home is gorgeous and is laid out in the most convenient way for a multi-family getaway. The home is right on the beach and the views could not get better! The hosts are so attentive and have thought of/prepared for everything, including amenities for the fur babies!! It was a great stay and we couldn't have been happier with the location, house, and hosts!

AMAZING Property and Experience!!!

My group and I had an absolutely amazing stay at this large beachfront home! It truly deserves a 5-star review. The location was perfect, just steps away from the beach from the private deck, and the fully stocked kitchen made our stay incredibly convenient. With plenty of space for everyone, we never felt crowded and could still enjoy our privacy. The pristine sugary sand beach felt like our own private beach, and the fact that there were hardly any other people around added to the charm. Our whole group loved it so much that it's definitely at the top of our list for our next vacation. Can't recommend it enough!
