Great property and location is awesome. However, Kitchen is crowded and could have been cleaned better. .Fridge was dirty inside. Oven is too small for big meals. Only one decent size pot for cooking. Hot water ran out after just two showers. For a property that can host 16 people the lack of hot water was disappointing. Had to clean outdoor grill before using as it was filthy. If these issues get addressed I could definitely see renting again in the future.

Nice property

We had a large group of moms and their daughters for a lake weekend. The house was a good size and everyone was comfortable. Beautiful lake views (no direct access) and a nice fire pit on a quiet cul de sac. Our only complaint was the refrigerator in the kitchen was on the small side, and did not have an ice maker, although there was a second smaller one downstairs as well. Overall a nice house and we would stay there again.

Excellent experience

The house was just as pictured on the site and was very clean. I contacted the owner a couple of times with questions and she was very prompt with her response. She was very friendly and helpful!!! Highly recommend this house to anyone looking to visit the Hot Springs area!

Perfect Family Getaway!

Great place to stay tucked away from the busy city life. House had many extras and plenty of space. It was a little far from attractions or stores but very enjoyable.

Sibling Trip

We booked an extended weekend here for a sibling trip. It was a great hang-out that provided enough room for all of us. Great accommodations & within 15-20min. of everywhere we wanted to go.

Beautiful location, most mattresses not comfortable

Very spacious home with great views of the lake. Kitchen was well equipped. The listing was a little confusing - in one place it said the bunk room beds were twin sized and in another place said they were full size. Everything was as expected except the beds. The MBR bed was comfortable but all the other mattresses were really hard and need to be replaced or at least have thick memory foam toppers. Downstairs shower water pressure was very low. Nice place but needs a little help.

So much family fun!

My family wanted to stay close to Hot Springs, but far enough out that we could have quiet, secluded time too! This house was perfect. It was so clean, it had a baby gate at the stairs (big plus for us!!), and really was just the perfect spot to get away and relax.

Lovely, peaceful, comfortable!!

Our group of 6 adults and one teen LOVED our stay here. Property is wonderful inside and outside. Gorgeous patios and decks overlooking Lake Catherine, awesome fire pit with plenty of wood, nice patio lights create a warm ambiance for a large group to spend time together. Plenty of outdoor chairs for everyone. Inside, bedrooms are spacious and welcoming with an abundance of pillows and quality bedding. Lots of soft snowy towels in the bathrooms. Living areas are comfortable. Kitchen is well equipped to make any meal you imagine with enough dishes, serve ware, & silverware for a big group. Large outdoor griddle is great for burgers, veggies, steak, fish! Note it is NOT a grill. This beautiful spot was perfect for our group. The home is in a very quiet area; we took walks along the picturesque winding road and never saw anyone else. Boat launch is close by. 11 min drive to beach at Lake Catherine State Park where they have a changing room & bathrooms as well as pontoon, kayak, and canoe rentals. 25 min drive to Hot Springs to take in the healing waters, shop, or have your choice of many restaurants. The pool is a short drive away, but wasn't open at the time of our visit in early April. There is no water access directly from the property. Overall, visiting this home was like staying with a very thoughtful host. Our group would return in a heartbeat! One of the nicest vacation properties I have ever visited.

Family Christmas

Property was very clean and nice. Kitchen is equipped well enough. Owners left us some s'mores ingredients to make by the fire and some hot cocoa. Overall awesome house for our 3 families to get together for Christmas. Will rent again and would recommend to anyone. Trail to lake is pretty steep.

What a View!!

We had family Thanksgiving here. Every bed was comfortable and nice sheets and pillows. Big screen tv, wifi, comfortable leather furniture, and everything we needed in the kitchen. And the deck and views were worth it all. Beautiful sunsets!!

Perfect getaway

This property had it all, the character and charm of this home was all we had hoped for. The setting of being lakefront property was beyond beautiful. From the youngest in our group (2 year old, to the oldest 85 year old), to the oldest our stay was enjoyed by all. We will definitely want to stay here again. Rachael and Scott were very helpful with any questions we had.

Hot Spring Trip

Everything was good, the house was exactly what we need it. We had so much fun. My only complaint is that the water in the shower doesn’t have any pressure and is really hard to get to be warm, is either cold or steamy. Other than that everything was fine.

The lake views were awesome from both the bottom and top porch/decks. Lots of space and nice kitchen. I will likely stay here again for sure.

Gangsters Retreat

This house is like a warm hug. There are some things that could be updated, like bathroom faucets and shower heads, but that's just nit picking. It feels like you're at grandmas house. It has that kind of smell and feel to it. Very secluded and beautiful.

Family getaway

This house worked great for us. The bar and pool table downstairs was a plus. You do have about a 20 minute drive to grocery stores or restraunts but its not bad at all. Host left us a s’more basket which we did at the fire pit and loved that special touch. Quiet neighborhood overlooking the water. We loved the house.

The home is beautiful. Not too big and not too small. We had a great time. Lake view was Awesome especially at sunrise and sunset. 1 warning Please be careful in the showers. The tile is very slick with no rails.
