Surrounded by towering mature trees, the modest facade of Sassafras Cabin includes a covered front porch and hot tub. Once inside, the main living area features two super-comfy overstuffed sofas with plenty of space for everyone to snuggle up in front of the fireplace. A large HDTV is mounted above the flames for a perfect family movie night with a big bowl of popcorn. Gleaming hardwood floors, stone walls, and knotty wood paneling add to the magical mountain cabin vibes.

An Open Kitchen and Dining Area
The kitchen is wide open to the living space, which is ideal for families and groups of friends that want to enjoy some snacks without sacrificing any socializing time. Natural wood cabinets surround the full suite of premier stainless steel appliances, including a refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, and electric range. The kitchen island has some casual bar stool seating for four, while the nearby dining table has seating for four more. This is the ideal space to flip a stack of fresh blueberry pancakes while waiting for the morning coffee to brew, or prepare some snacks to take on the hiking trails. 

Two Blissful Bedrooms
The two bedrooms offer a tranquil space to recharge at the end of the day. Each bedroom has a comfy queen-size mattress set into a rugged log bed frame. There are also bedside lamps for reading in bed and ceiling fans overhead for comfort. The full bathroom features a jetted soaking tub and a separate step-in shower. There’s also a pull-out sofa in the living room for additional flexible sleeping space.

An Idyllic Location on the Meramec River
Outside on the covered porch, there’s a perfect spot for an alfresco meal in the warmer months, and a newly installed white rock firepit area with a charcoal grill for barbecuing and roasting marshmallows for dessert. Nestled on an idyllic 16-acre spread in the magical Missouri Ozarks, guests of Sassafras Cabin also have access to a communal riverside pavilion that houses a smoker, bbq grills, bar, hanging firepit, and a large deck. Spend your days hiking, mountain biking, fishing, or paddleboarding on the river, and your evenings sipping cocktails under the stars by the firepit. Sassafras Cabin is the place where true laid-back ozark mountain relaxation comes to life.
