The Summit spans an impressive 10,000 sq. ft. (930 sq. m.) and is located on 2.6 acres, it stands as the most expansive residence in Exuma valued at a remarkable $7 Million. Designed with a regal elegance, it boasts a breathtaking ocean view and a full panorama of Stocking Island. This exceptional estate includes a private 500 ft. driveway secured by an iron gate, a gourmet kitchen complemented by a separate catering entrance, and a state-of-the-art fitness room, making it an ideal retreat for those accompanied by personal security. The house is equipped with six luxurious king-size bedrooms, one Twin xl bedroom, three full bathrooms, and two half bathrooms, comfortably sleeps 17 adults and 2 children.

The Summit is currently being offered at 50% rate until resort style infinity pool, bar, and cabana are complete.

A short walk down the driveway takes you to restaurants/bars and what's known by the locals "The best beach in Exuma."

THE LOCATION of your vacation home on Exuma is of extreme importance to the enjoyment of your trip. Exuma is 40 miles long with homes along all 40 miles. Unlike most rental homes on Exuma, The Summit is strategically located on a hill atop the main hotel district just outside of Georgetown. Conversely, most rental homes on Exuma have no walkable restaurants and require very long drives down the winding two-lane road. When your whole vacation is within 5 minutes of the house, your vacation explodes with choices.
• Three restaurants/bars down the hill, at the base of the 500-foot driveway.
• The popular Fish Fry is a 1/4-mile walk. (12 Bahamian owned small restaurants/bars; including Shirley’s)
• The ultra-protected and calm water Jolly Hall Beach is 300 yards to the north. Think of the perfect beach... this is it.
• Central George Town with the Peace and Plenty Hotel, Minn's Water Sports, and the Straw Market is one mile away.

The Summit's location allows for a much broader vacation than most rental homes on Exuma. Half of your amenities and fun are a 3-minute walk down the hill and the other half is accessible one mile away in Georgetown. This unlocks a much more diverse vacation because you can move around and change venues easily and quickly.

* Take super short taxi rides into George Town to hit the grocery store, straw market, Minn's Water Sports (boat rental), several more restaurants, and boat shuttle to Stocking Island etc... Water on this side of the island is almost always perfect for boating, that's why this is where all the sailboats come. This is where you want to be.

THE VIEW from Summit Exuma is one of the most spectacular in all of Exuma. The house is located at the crest of a 60-foot hill with unimpeded views is every direction. The view to the ocean offers an all-encompassing picture of the whole of Stocking Island. Count all 300 sailboats anchored offshore all winter long. Most rental homes show a slice of ocean but are very few provide this amazing view.

THE BEACH: Summit Exuma is located a short walking distance from the best calm water swimming beach on Great Exuma, Jolly Hall Beach.
• With its powder white sand and shallow water, the beach looks like a “Corona commercial” almost every day. There are many beautiful beaches on Exuma, but most of them are exposed to direct wind and waves. While the others may provide calm water 30% of the time, Jolly Hall Beach is calm and flat 95% of the days.
• A small, unmarked path was created to allow access for visitors. All beaches in the Bahamas are public and accessible to everyone.
• Jolly Hall Beach cannot be seen from the road and therefore is not highly frequented, nor is it touristy. The family that owns the land obliges us with a path… but there is no sign promoting it.
Jolly Hall Beach looks exactly as it did 50 years ago and likely will look the same in another 50 years. That’s just fine with us.

While most pictures of rental homes on Exuma feature photos of calm ocean water, the reality is that the water is rough 2/3 of the time on Exuma. That is a big deal when planning your activities for your time on vacation. Therefore, finding spots with consistently calm water is paramount. On mainland Exuma, there are only a few choices, with the best being Jolly Hall Beach. Jolly Hall Beach is located down the hill and left 300 yards. The ½ mile beach is protected by surrounding islands and shoals from the prevailing winds and waves and therefore delivers a fantastic swimming experience almost every day.

As the principal owners of The Peace and Plenty Hotel, Kahari Resort, as well as interests in many other hospitality properties, we have been hosting people on Exuma for over 20 years. We have mastered the art of showing people a good time while visiting this island. Proximity to restaurants, bars, and boats to get out onto Elizabeth Harbour unlocks an incredible vacation. We provide free shuttle boat service to the Peace and Plenty Beach Club on Stocking Island to our Summit Exuma guests. The shuttle is accessible from the Peace and Plenty Hotel in Georgetown. The Beach Club has snorkel equipment, paddle boards and kayaks, just for the asking (we still recommend you bring some of your own snorkel equipment anyway).

-Rent a boat at Minn's and go explore. Experience the enjoyment of boating from island to island in some of the most beautiful waters in the world.
-The Peace and Plenty Beach Club on Stocking Island. Spend your day bouncing between Peace and Plenty Beach Club and the nearby Chat N Chill Beach Club. Explore the 2-mile windward “wild ocean” beach on the other side of Stocking Island. A great natural adventure for the whole family. (Catch the free, to Summit Exuma guest's, boat shuttle from the Peace and Plenty Hotel)
-Take a guided group excursion. Meet like minded people. Some have described them as the experience of a lifetime.
-Get a boat and captain and let the day take you. Boat can pick you up right off the beach.
-Visit the various restaurants on the island, hang out and connect with the local people.

Exuma is a small, low population island where everyone knows and looks out for each other. Go out there and mix it up!

Concierge Grocery Stocking: We will send you a check list, you choose your desired grocery and beverage items and it will be there when you arrive!

Additional Provisions:
EXUMA MARKETS, one mile south of Summit is the largest grocery store on the island.
PRIME ISLAND MEATS, 3 miles north of Summit is our first and best choice for food. It is owned by an immensely helpful guy from New Jersey. It has freshly imported meats (steak, chicken, pork, lamb, sausages) and seafood, as well as other grocery items like fruits and vegetables. They offer call ahead ordering. They are closed on Sundays.
Convenience Store: SMITTY'S (basic food, liquor and pharmacy) located 3 miles north of Summit.
