We were in town to visit family when we stayed here. The house was very nice, well appointed, and clean. The heated pool (for a fee) was great and stayed warm even in cool December evenings.

Great stay

The property was just as described. Very clean and the kids enjoyed the pool. Great location! Close to stores, restaurants, and Weeki watchee.

Great Stay!!!

This house was great and met all of our needs. The pool was warm and the grandkids loved swimming around. The location was perfect to entertain both the little ones and the adults. We were not disappointed at all and give it our highest recommendation.

Wish we were still there!

Lovely property with all the comforts of home. Nice big, sheltered lanai overlooking the pool and surrounding yard. Lots of seating - both inside and outside. Quiet neighbourhood, set back from busy roads but still really close to shopping & restaurants.

Family Vacation

The house was perfect, clean, and comfortable. We had everything we needed and more. We spent most of our time at the pool with our family. Cooking meals was a breeze with everything provided in the kitchen. The A/C was on point keeping the house cool on the hot days. I wish we could have stayed longer.

Great house, great stay!

The house has everything you could need and then some. Location close to shopping, site seeing. Manatees! Quiet neighborhood, friendly neighbors. Lauren was always responsive to any question we had. Highly recommend!

Really nice play to stay

The home was as advertised on the VRBO site. Very comfortable, with all amenities. Convenient location. Since we're golfers, this location gave us access to about 5-6 reasonably priced not terribly crowded courses. Worth considering if we were going to come back to this area.

The Best House

We had a great time at this house. It is exceptionally well equipped, very clean and exactly as described. Great pool. Nothing was lacking. Lauren and family have created a wonderful home away from home. She is easy to communicate with and always responded quickly to my questions. Would definitely return.

Excellent Stay

We had a wonderful month in this house. It was definitely 5 star . Very clean, nice safe neighbourhood, every kitchen appliance you would have in your own home and the owner was just a text away if you have any questions. We would definitely stay again at this house. Thank you Lauren for your hospitality and you were great to deal with from the very first contact.

Very nice property!

We absolutely loved our stay at this house. We didn't really know much about the area so if you plan on going anywhere make sure to rent a car. We spent a lot of Lyft/Uber. Lauren was very quick to take care of an issue we had with the pool and we so greatly appreciated that. Anytime we had a question she made sure to respond right away. Nice quiet area.

Do not hesitate to book this house.

Everything was great. Pool was nicely maintained. Location quite convenient. TV coverage was lacking. We could even get local channels. Old movie freaks probably love it but we could not get sports coverage or little news.

Visiting family

I booked this home for my mom and niece to be able to spend some time with my sister who is going through a serious medical illness . Lauren was more than accommodating with any special requests that my mom had. She never hesitated to help my mom as much as she could. Lauren made a difficult visit so comfortable. I can’t say enough of how much we all appreciate your hospitality in your beautiful home. I will be booking this again

Family kayak adventure

We loved this house. We came with grandparents and kids ages 8 and 11. The house was the perfect headquarter for our kayaking adventure on the Chaz river. We loved the outdoor space by the pool. The house had plenty of space for everyone to have their privacy. But we also enjoyed hours gathered around the table playing cards at night. Very easy check in/out process. Lauren was very responsive. Having washer drier was key after outdoor adventures. We highly recommend this property and would love to come back

Ok, but will not rent again.

This house had a bad odor in the living room, the dishes had been out away dirty, ad the thermostat was locked when no one was in the house to go up to 80 degrees. So it was 80 degrees in Florida after we returned from being the sun all day. Lauren was very quick to communicate and VERY polite =). But we will not spend money on that house again.

In an effort to give future renters accurate information, I just want to address a couple of items ( also head over to the other rental site to see other people's reviews ). Our house cleaner went over upon this check out and said the house smelled like trash as it hadn't been taken out but didn't notice anything else. Occasionally a dishwasher doesn't wash dishes super effectively but the dishwasher is new so we assume this was a one off ( again, no one else has complained ). Lastly , we have a nest thermostat thermostat and in order to be efficient it dips to 80 when nobody is home but it is NOT locked and goes down to 70. Luckily , the system is new so once you're home it drops quickly. This eco mode has since shifted to be at 78 when people are gone instead of 80 and can be anywhere between 70-80 depending on guest's preference. We're of course disappointed a guest didn't have a fabulous stay but unfortunately we can't make everyone happy all of the time ...it is the hospitality business. Please reach out if you have any concerns , we're very communicative and want everyone to have a great stay.
