master bath has 2 sinks, toilet and claw foot shower tub combo.
guest bath has one sink, toilet and claw foot shower tub combo.
these are the old cast iron claw foot tubs that are great luxury to take a bath in; they hold the heat!
good water pressure in showers.
open floor plan.
cats on the property & in back guest house.

PLEASE DO NOT RENT IF YOU HAVE ISSUES WITH ANIMALS.
we are animal lovers; and the pets are never in the main house. pets are not allowed in the main house ; they have the guest Houde and the pet outdoor enclosed run. this house is cleaned 2 times a week after every guest. it is exterminated 1 a month. all rugs and curtains are cleaned monthly.
then house was built in 1926; it was renovated in 2000.

The house is just beautiful and looks even better in person than in the pictures. Kathleen is a designer and her aesthetic excellence features clearly in the way that she has set up the place. It feels warm and lovely but also beautiful and luxurious at the same time and the white interiors provide a sense of peace come and space perfect for a chilled out vacation.In addition, Kathleen as a person is just such a beautiful soul and incredibly helpful, friendly and warm. She treated us just like family and we felt so much at home.

Cute cottage!

This is a lovely home in a great location. The beds are very comfy, and there is plenty of hot water! We didn't cook there, but the kitchen seemed well equipped. The resident cats are charming, and the host is very nice and accommodating!

Beautiful tucked away sanctuary in the city

Visited for weekend with my mother. We had a great time. Everything in walking or biking distance we went to see/do! The sweet cats were a plus.

This property is delightful. Airy, and calm. Clean, with excellent directions of how to use all appliance. Host provides excellent recommendations for where to go and other activities. Very quiet at night. Has areas to work, rest, be outside. Best place I have ever stayed.

Wonderful Relaxing Stay

My partner and I had a great stay at the Dreamy White Venice property. Kathleen was an incredible host, very accommodating, and easy to communicate with. The exterior and interior of the cottage is so thoughtful in design. It's a special space to relax and unwind in. Every corner of the space has unique touches. The neighborhood is quiet with plenty of restaurants and bars to walk to. We would love to plan another visit back.

Comfortable stay

Overall the home is very nice. The beds and furniture are very comfortable. Our host, Kathleen, was very responsive and communicated well. The neighborhood is cute and convenient. Two things should be noted. Both bathroom showers are claw tubs so somewhat challenging to get in and out - we saw that one was but missed that both are the same. It was a minor issue for us but maybe not doe others. The other thing worth noting was that the owner has a lot of personal things in the refrigerator, pantry and cabinets. She is very kind and doesn’t seem to mind if you use her products, but it was unusual compared to other rentals we’ve had. I would recommend it for location, space and the very comfortable beds!!

French county, shabby chic, whitewashed, quirky, cozy & romantic... Piles of pillows and blankets. Light trickling in through lacy, sheer drapes. Pretty surprises everywhere. Very comfortable mattress. Centrally located for everything we were doing while in SoCal, this air B&B fulfilled our needs. There is even a matching kitty that visits (if you want).

Lovely Stay

We had a lovely stay at Kathleen's. The location was perfect for us and was close enough to all the main sites and shops in Venice (it's about a 20min walk to Abbot Kinney). Kathleen was a very responsive host (she stays in the cottage at the back of the property) and went out of her way to provide things for our daughter which helped us immensely after a long flight! The house itself is spacious and on a nice street. The bed is exceptionally comfortable and Kathleen provides ample towels, sheets and blankets.

So Perfect!!

Came here with my family to spend some time with our relatives out here, and this place was perfect! It’s so clean and quaint and our host was always available if we needed her. Close to pretty much everything and the cats were so cute and friendly!

wonderful home in great location

This is our second time at this home. We love the feel of the place. It is spacious, has more than enough towels and many other comforts, and the kitchen is great to cook in. This trip we got to walk around the neighborhood more and my young son was delighted to discover many swings and trees to climb. Fun!

A Piece of Heaven

This house is as luscious as it looks in the photos. The kitchen is more than fully stocked, as are the bathrooms. The mattresses in the beds are incredibly comfortable. The owner was available and generous in her support of our stay. Highest praise for this gem of a rental.

Magical Cottage

My daughter and I stayed in Kathleen's White Cottage during our trip for the Taylor Swift Eras Concert. It was the perfect place to stay for a girls trip as it has a wonderful, magical vibe, with its white decor and well placed accessories. Very clean and neat and a well stocked kitchen. We felt completely safe, left the front door open during the day to let the breeze in. Kathleen was so friendly and gave us so many great suggestions for restaurants and places to go. We were within walking distance to a nice restaurant she suggested - Superba. Great place for breakfast and lunch. I highly recommend this property!

Charming Stay

This property was a lovely, spacious home base for our adult family of 5. Easy street parking and fantastic location close to the coast. We enjoyed the outdoor space and being surrounded by flowers. We very much appreciated access to beach chairs, towels, umbrella and a cart, and the care Kathleen demonstrated to us before and during our stay. This house has great character!

Visiting Family in LA

I stayed with my two young adult children, and the house was so beautiful!! Kathleen was very accommodating with our early arrival and late checkout. Everything we needed (and then some) was provided. We felt very safe, and walked to breakfast a couple of times to Superba and then to Abbot Kenney for some shopping. My son rented a birdie and cruised the neighborhood a bit. Stayed four days, visiting my brother that lives in the area. We will definitely reach out to Kathleen again for our next trip! Wonderful location, easy access to everything. Thank you Kathleen, we made some amazing memories! Katie

Beautiful cottage in Venice

Idyllic house with a beautiful garden and romantic, lovely, peaceful interiors. Kathleen was a wonderful host and we had a great time. The house is on a pretty street and very close to the wonderful restaurants in Venice. Our three year old loved blowing bubbles in the garden.

Hostess with the mostest. Love the walks in charm neighborhood of various home styles. Love with just couple miles to Whole Foods, Smart-N-Final, Costco, Walgreens, CVS, Abbot Kinney Blvd (eateries/boutique shops), LAX (15 mins) + more. Perfect centrally coastal access from Santa Monica to Redondo beaches. Total of 4 people, 9 nights stay, easily a relaxing home feel, quiet neighborhood- perfect for us senior crowd.
