Welcome to Finns Up, a beautifully styled two-bedroom condo overlooking the Carolina Beach Pier and the Atlantic horizon. From your private porch, you can feel the ocean breeze drift through, and take in the peaceful charm of the island’s North End. This is a place where mornings begin with coffee and sea air, and days unfold at an easy, unhurried pace.

Finns Up is named after our pup, Finn, because we know vacations are better when every member of the family can come along - paws included. The condo sits just steps from the island’s only year-round dog-friendly beach, so you can enjoy long walks by the water with your pup right by your side.

The North End location offers the best of both worlds. A bit north of the pier lies Freeman Park, where you’ll find adventure - from four-wheeling and shore fishing to paddleboarding and kite-surfing and closer to the pier you will find calmer stretches of sand, perfect for sunbathing, reading, or simply enjoying the quiet rhythm of the waves. When you’re ready to explore, downtown Carolina Beach and the Boardwalk are just a short drive away, offering local restaurants, live music, and seaside shops.

Inside, Finns Up combines coastal elegance with thoughtful comfort. Every detail has been chosen to create a light, relaxing atmosphere, from the coastal-chic décor and soft linens to the porch swing daybed that quickly becomes everyone’s favorite spot. The condo includes two bedrooms, a sofa in the lounge that converts to a queen bed, and an extra twin fold-away bed for added flexibility. You’ll have a fully equipped kitchen, smart TVs, and everything you need for a convenient, comfortable stay.

Please note that Finns Up is not handicap accessible and is located 16 steps above the parking area. We recommend reviewing VRBO’s Trip Insurance options, especially during storm season, as coastal weather can change quickly.

A most lovely, comfortable and well appointed apartment steps from the ocean. Relaxing was the vibe, from comfy sofas, pillows, throws along with the sound of waves caressing (and crashing) the shoreline. Everthing you will need kick back and recover your breath. Our dog even gives it four paws up!

Wonderful Stay!

We loved this condo so much! It was exactly as pictured on the website with comfortable beds and incredibly comfortable window and living room seating. We were so impressed with the well-appointed kitchen and high-end appliances. The icing on the cake was definitely our host, Jamie! He was so responsive before, during and even after our stay. He even checked to make sure all was good mid week. If we go back to Carolina Beach, we would DEFINITELY stay there again!

We so enjoyed our stay at Finns Up. It is so welcoming with all the upgrades and attention to detail. Everything was comfy, loved the swing bed on balcony. Awesome location!

The property was very clean and was as shown on the pictures. My family and I had a great time, easy access to the beach, and local activities were close by. The hosts were very friendly. We would definitely stay again in the future.

Perfect location! Perfect Accomodations! Perfect for Families & Fur babies! We absolutely loved our stay here. The host is hospitable and attentive. The home is clean and comfortable and the attention to detail is absolutely amazing! Don’t know how many times we said “This is such a nice touch!” The beach was steps away and the view was spectacular. It was such a a nice dog-friendly experience! We plan to visit again.

This lovely home has views of the ocean, is steps from the beach and is cozy, comfortable and very clean! We had everything we needed for a lovely visit to Carolina Beach. The home is beautifully decorated with wonderful amenities and all the right touches to make us feel at home. The perfect place for a relaxing few days at the beach!

A wonderful place to stay in Carolina Beach

We were very impressed with the beautiful condo. 5 stars for the cleanliness. Everything we needed for our stay was available to us. Can’t say enough about Jamie and his wife. He kept in touch with us during and after our stay. My husband and I will rerun next year if we are able.

We had the best trip! Everything was perfect! The condo was beautiful, comfortable and very accommodating. Sitting on the balcony listening to the band on the pier while still hearing the waves and feeling the ocean breeze was our absolute favorite part! The kitchen was well stocked and organized. Beds and sofa were really comfortable. We really had the best week!

First Trip to celebrate early retirement

Amazing!! Jamie and Cindy have a beautifully decorated home in a perfect location. It’s right across the street from the beach and we enjoyed a beautiful view of the ocean each evening over drinks. You need to pack very little for the home itself — it is very well equipped! We stayed for just over a week and we used a couple of our own trash bags and paper towels but we did a lot of cooking. Jamie and Cindy provided many amenities we packed and could have left at home! Very easily could just pack clothes and toiletries and beach gear. We loved being able to have our dogs with us also. All around it was just a wonderful experience and we would rent this home again in a heartbeat! Thanks Jamie and Cindy.

This property is a 5+star rating! From the minute I booked online to the time we left, the communication with the property owners was fantastic! The WOW factor is what I can say for the property. We felt right at home, along with our dog. Location is perfect/cleanliness top notch/location ease of access to beach/view of ocean from balcony/comfortable beds/beautifully decorated. I like to cook and the kitchen was sufficiently stocked! Truly a home away from home! Looking forward to our next stay at Finn's Up!! Thank you!!!

Oceanfront Sanctuary

We cannot say enough about Jamie and Cindy's place. Every detail was designed to make this space a home away from home. From the comfortable daybed on the balcony overlooking the ocean, to the dog dishes and blanket, to the rain shower head in the master bathroom, it was clear that a great deal of thought went into Finn's Up. We will definitely be back!

Best vacation ever!!

This is a truly an awesome place to stay. I almost hate to share because I want to keep it to myself😂. The hosts, Jamie and Cindy, were so kind. They texted several times to check in, and they answered all my questions. The condo is so cute and cozy. I truly felt at home there, and you can tell they put a lot of thought into the decor. It’s all very dog friendly, and I felt completely comfortable having my dog there. We enjoyed walking on the beach, which was right there. The location couldn’t be more perfect. This was such a relaxing, wonderful place, and I already want to go back!

Very pet-friendly with easy access to leash walking

My husband and I brought our 3 yr old dog with us for a long weekend. The weather was cold, gray, and sometimes drizzling, but we enjoyed staying inside the beautifully decorated condo and snuggling up to watch TV/movies. There were good-eats nearby and easy access to the shore on other side of the pier for dog-walking fun! We recommend it to other dog-owners looking for a get-away!

Beautifully appointed!

Our stay was exactly what we needed. The condo is precisely what is advertised, and is truly beautifully appointed with everything you could possibly want. The decor is lovely and tasteful, the bedding is high quality and very comfortable. We very much enjoyed our stay, as did our canine friend. This condo is steps from the dog friendly beach! Gorgeous! Jamie communicated in a friendly and sincere way and checked in to see how everything was. Additionally, he let us know about some construction happening at the building next door (which kinda sucked, but was totally out of his control) in advance of our arrival. Much appreciate! Great place to stay!

We’ve always loved the North End of Carolina Beach because it offers the best of both worlds. It’s peaceful and tucked away, giving you a true sense of escape, yet it’s still close enough to all the fun of downtown and the Boardwalk.
