New Listing! Pack your bags and explore the historic town of Fredericksburg. The Wine Capitol of Texas! The Texas Hill Country is home to over 100 wineries and vineyards. Our beautiful town and its German roots has much to offer. Take a drive and explore the wineries or walk around downtown Main Street and enjoy restaurants, shops, museums, parks, wine tasting, and much more!

Our home is nestled in a quiet neighborhood at the base of Cross Mountain. Our modernized ranch style home has everything you need for a short trip or long vacation. Our home boasts an open floor plan with large living spaces. The kitchen is clean, spacious, fully stocked, and ready to entertain. Our dining area offers a charming place to have a meal or play card games with family and friends. Enjoy our original wood burning stove located in the dining room. However, wood burning stove is not in use. Unwind on our large deep seated sectional with a movie after a day on the town. Our expansive outdoor area offers a full dining set, Adirondack chairs and hammock for relaxing and conversations. Our 3 bedrooms are fitted with comfortable mattresses and clean, fresh linens. We have a king sized bed in two of the bedrooms and two twin XL beds in the third bedroom. We have a dedicated desk/workspace as well. Each bedroom has a television with Fire TV online streaming services. Our two bathrooms offer modern vanities and full showers. We also offer a two car garage and access to a laundry room with washer and dryer. Our minimalist design with our added Texas charm is sure to give you a comfortable, clean stay. We cannot wait to host you!

We enjoyed our stay at the Hunter Haus in Fredericksburg, TX. The host was expedient in responding to our questions. The back yard was beautiful and so peaceful. The house was very clean. We love it! Bonnye and Friends!

We had relaxing, quality experience and would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a great place to stay while in Fredricksburg. It was very clean and fully equipped. The backyard area was excellent. Would definitely stay here again.

We cooked a couple of meals at the house and the kitchen was sufficiently stocked. The AC/Heating unit kept us very comfortable.

Hunter Haus is the absolute BEST place to stay in Fredericksburg, whether you’ll be there for a weekend or long-term. The house is beautifully decorated, very clean, and spacious. The fully equipped kitchen was an unexpected lifesaver as we quickly grew tired of eating out. Cooking our own meals and enjoying our favorite coffee every morning helped make Hunter Haus feel like home. The beds are super comfortable and the updated showers in the bathrooms were a true blessing after our long days in the hot summer sun. Jeff & Ashley are so responsive and the absolute perfect hosts. We could not have asked for a better experience and will be back to Hunter Haus for all of our future trips to Fred!

Beautiful, clean, fully stocked home. Location and neighborhood were great. Perfect for our group. Hosts were communicative and great to work with. This was by far one of the best VRBOs we have ever stayed at. The property was immaculate! It was close to Main St and the winery we visited. Our hosts were easy to reach and made sure our check in and visit was going smoothly. We look forward to returning!!

This home is well appointed and the pictures are very accurate. It's location close to downtown was very central to all of our adventures. We thoroughly enjoyed our week here.

The house was immaculate and very beautifully furnished. It has everything you need for a long stay. Beds were cozy, all of the tech (tvs and wifi) worked without issues, and all tvs had firesticks so you could access your own streaming subscriptions. Big, enclosed yard with nice shade tree and hammock. Very close to shopping and dining. If you have young kids, you might spend time stressing about keeping dirty hands away from the big, comfy light colored couch so word of warning to those booking with littles.Would book here again the next time we're planning a weekend or week getaway in the Hill Country.

This was just a fabulous place for us to stay with our grandkids in Fredericksburg. The home is very wonderful, the kitchen is amazing and beautifully appointed. Bedrooms and bathrooms are great (wonderful walk-in showers). The king beds in the 2 bedrooms we used are comfortable and they have great pillows! We enjoyed a meal we cooked there and the many utensils and cooking vessels we used. The open pantry was a great place for us to put our items so we did not leave anything behind.The laundry facilities were great and we used them. The spotless garage was very much appreciated due to the stormy weather that occurred while we were staying there.The house was staged to be welcoming and that was so appreciated!Communications with the hosts were timely and contained information we needed to have when we needed to have it. Thank you to our hostsand the housekeeper that takes care of the house!
