READ BEFORE BOOKING!!!
When renting a “penthouse” you expect a certain standard. The listing is miss leading. Photos make it look like the building is on the beach and the wording did not disclose otherwise. I was traveling with my elderly mother and was wanting to be right on the beach so she didn’t have far to walk. It was very inconvenient for our family.
As well as the balcony in pictures makes it look like the whole balcony belongs to the condo you are renting and it is not, it is shared with the ENTIRE building. Lots of random people walking around by your space and yelling at people below. People smoking/drinking on the deck. Had someone walk right up to our slider. No privacy!! As well as the deck was dirty. Cigarette butts, old patio furniture that is dirty and falling apart. Also broke chairs that should be thrown away. There is a garbage bag of outdoor toys which is nice, but not very well kept.
When arrived the floor was very dirty, but the cleaning people did come and clean the next day. The hallways also are very dirty and stained. We also dealt with neighbors that were very load in their condo as well as in the hallways! As well as very load music. Complained to property manager and front desk. The following night was better, but still load!
Looks like the attempted to remodel, but missed the mark with the overall look. Trim work was either left or done poorly. The bathtubs are stained and old and shower curtain had mold on it, as well as no lights above shower.
I reached out to Kami with some of my complaints and never received a reply until after we returned home. I had reached out to her again and only then did she reply. My view is they do not care about your experience at their rental. Proceed with caution if you rent this property!
