I enjoyed the house with my wife and two children, a suggestion: two more seats for the kitchen, it is very comfortable to stand up.

Very clean and had all the amenities we needed. Spacious and quiet. Easy check in. The beach was close and very clean. Property needed a few small repairs and the King bed was very uncomfortable and could use a replacement mattress. Ended up sleeping in the twin beds that were much more comfortable. Over all, would recommend this home.

Better than the pictures

This is a excellent place, the pictures don’t do it justice. Property manager Madison was quick to respond with our questions or concerns. It was clean and cozy and stocked with all necessities needed for a comfortable stay. We used the dock to park our jet skis with no problems. Would definitely recommend

Weekend Getaway

Had a wonderful time at this cabin for a little birthday weekend getaway. Everything in the house was perfect and we were comfortable throughout our stay. The only downfall was the lights on the dock did not work during our stay so my boyfriend was kinda bummed not being able to get the full “night fishing” experience we had hoped for but communication with the owner was good so I’m sure it will be fixed for future guests. Overall great cabin and comfortable stay!

My girlfriend (now fiancée!) and I stayed here for one night with our three dogs, and overall, we had a great experience. The location was perfect and was just a short drive to the beach where my fiancé proposed.The interior was newly renovated, and the decor throughout the space was lovely. One of my favorite features was the outdoor shower and was so helpful to use after a sandy beach day. The water was warm, and it made rinsing off so easy. There was a dead frog in the shower but otherwise, it was clean and functional.The only reasons I’m giving four stars instead of five are due to the indoor shower not draining properly. I ended up standing in ankle-deep water during my shower. Also, there were sticker burrs all over the grass. If you’re bringing kids or dogs, please be mindful, as the burrs can be sharp. I’d recommend the owners consider treating the lawn to help prevent them from spreading.Despite those minor issues, we truly enjoyed our stay and would love to return in the future! :)

Overall nice, only a few issues

Overall the property is very nice and in a very nice neighborhood. Beach is a 20 minute walk or a less than five minute drive. And the beaches in the area are very private which is a very big perk. Community pool is within walking distance and also very nice. The only two complaints about the property are as follows:1) broken screen/glass door - anytime you shut it you would have to aggressively push or kick it to get it open and if you were trying to open it from the outside with full hands you have to put everything down as it’s a struggle. I feel like this is an easy fix that could be addressed considering how much the property is charging. 2) The number of mosquitoes on the property made it impossible to enjoy anything outside. The beautiful patio is unusable because the second you go outside you’re swarmed. Simply keeping the yard sprayed would alleviate this. I was looking forward to having dinner out on the patio and couldn’t do it. Literally just walking my dog outside for five minutes resulted in dozens of mosquito bites. That being said it’s so nice property it just needs a few minor things fixed.

Grandsons had a ball at the property, playing with fishing rods and crab nets on the canal. The house was a pleasure, kitchen , bedrooms and bathroom were great. Thank you for the opportunity to enjoy your property.

Great Area

It's a great location and close to all you need. We would highly recommend staying here at this location. As for the mosquitos, they actually have a city sprayer that sprays at night. "Off" works great...it's your own fault if you do not prepare for the pests. Clean place to stay, no regrets at all.

Great Getaway

The home was clean and neat. It truly was a beautiful place to stay. The location had tons of things to do during our vacation. I would highly recommend this to anyone booking a vacation in the Galveston area.
