This property is beautiful, the photos don't do any justice to how beautiful lake is! We really enjoyed it. It is huge. The house itself in red deck are really great and I couldn't be any more happy.

Great place for family fun, boating on the pond and sitting around the fire. Everything you would need for cooking is there. Wonderful house, I would definitely come back too.

Lovely house in a great location! The access to the lake was wonderful. The location and outdoor space were by far our favorite part of the house. The lake view was incredible. We used and enjoyed the kayaks and hot tub and outdoor fire pit. The house has a great layout too and was comfortable for 3 couples. The air conditioning worked great too. Communication with the host was exceptional. The only downside was that hot water could be a challenge; the best shower is the outdoor shower but the 2 indoor were fine too. The other note is that although the kitchen is very well equipped, a number of the pots/pans need to be replaced. Overall it was a wonderful stay and we would stay again.

A great stay on a great property. We loved overlooking the small lake which had great water quality. Property was convenient location on the cape to go explore. Owners were super responsive to questions and house was super comfy for my now grown family.

Long Pond

This is a really great place with lots of room and places to retreat to if you need a little privacy. Kitchen very well equipped and host very responsive. Deck needs some attention and best to wear your flip flops (but hosts gave a heads up about it) It was a hot week and the A/C held up- there are window units in bedrooms and a split ceiling (Yamaha?) in main open plan area. Dining room great and can seat 8 or 10 comfortably.

Cape Cod Charmer with modern amenities

This property is exactly as shown. Very clean and well cared for. Plenty of room and privacy for us, our daughter, son-in-law, and 1 year old granddaughter. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking and dining in. The hosts have thought of everything! From first aid kit and ice packs to Coolers and insulated bags with blue ice for picnicking, we felt welcomed and at home. It rained most of our trip so we were not able to take advantage of the beautiful outdoor space. We enjoyed the house, the games, and football on the big screen while snacking on the complimentary goodies left for us by our thoughtful hosts. The neighborhood is lovely and peaceful. We enjoyed walking our greyhound just as much as she enjoyed investigating the flora and fauna! A truly beautiful retreat. We would love to return next year!

Beautiful and relaxing!

My family and I had a wonderful time in this home. It is as clean and beautiful as it states. Loved having the paddle boat :) the dock and outdoor seating. It was very peaceful and my dog relaxed as well. We loved being able to have her with us. We will definitely be back!

Long Pond House

The house did not disappoint. It was clean, neat, well equipped and nicely furnished. The beds were very comfortable. Sitting on the deck above Long Pond, was delightful. Being able to walk down to the pond to kayak and swim made it even more special. Also, allowing pets made it a real family vacation. Thank you for a lovely vacation.

Perfect Cape getaway for our family

We chose this home due to its location on the pond, private dock with kayaks, and the perfect amount of space for our family of four. The property was beyond wonderful, and we would absolutely return should we come back to South Yarmouth. Our favorites: the hot tub on the deck, comfy family room with tv for the rainy days, and plenty of activities to keep us busy on the water. Home owners provided suggestions for dining out, ordering in and recreation nearby. There were spare toiletries and a stocked coffee bar - they thought of everything and we were grateful!

Super nice home with everything needed for a great time

We had a blast staying at Laurie and Doug's house. The house was very clean and had all of the amenities we needed for our short stay. Everything went smoothly and we would highly recommend for anyone else to stay there.

Cape Cod on the lake, great for dogs

Three couples, two dogs, a lovely long weekend. Great layout for everyone and good space for dogs, including walks around the lovely neighborhood and direct access to Long Pond. Very enjoyable.

Beautiful lake house

We all had a great time kayaking, fishing, spending time around the fire pit cooking s'mores and the location cannot be beat. Minutes from countless family fun locations. We couldn't have been happier.

Great week at the Cape

We really enjoyed our week. My son and I enjoyed fishing in the pond, and the whole family enjoyed kayaking. This is a great central location to go the various beaches that are nearby. We didn't realize we were within walking distance to the Cape Cod baseball games as well. Overall very positive experience, nice getaway, the house had at all the amenities we are looking for a beach getaway for our family of 5. We enjoyed grilling our food and eating dinner out on the deck. We definitely consider coming back in the future!!

Wonderful Stay

We had a wonderful stay. Property is very clean and well-maintained, and our 5-year old (and golden retrievers) loved swimming in the pond. Close to beaches, restaurants, mini-golf, ice cream... basically anything you need for a Cape Cod vacation.

A week in the Cape

We had a lovely stay at the house. It is in a great location with access to Long Pond. We kayaked and/or went tubing everyday. The hot tub was great, especially after a long day on the Cape Cod Rail Trail (which you can bike to).

Great house

The location of this house is awesome! It is only about 1.5 mi from smugglers beach but you can just go out the back to access long pond. My family had a blast catching large mouth bass and wading in the water. The house was comfortable, kitchen and living room area was perfect and bathrooms recently updated. but window air conditioning units were not in the greatest shape. Overall a great week was had!
