Did not feel safe

I booked this for a weekend football game and my wife and two small children were to arrive on Saturday and I would join them on Sunday morning. My wife called me crying and said she did not feel safe in this neighborhood with just her and the two kids. Unfortunately I was two states away and could not get there any earlier. She ended up staying at a hotel.

historic house walking distance to stadium

This is a renovated old home in a depressed part of town. I was given the wrong address and improper instruction about the lock box. I Called the property owner but did not get a response. once we found the correct house and figured out how to access the property we were pleased. Kitchen is well stocked and the home is very comfortable. Hand held in the upstairs bath does not work and you need to let the hot water in the sink run while showering so that the on demand water heater has enough flow to work correctly. Next time I go to a jaguars game I will definitely look to see if this property is available.

Perfect for Stadium Trips

Such a quaint and clean home. It was excellent to get to the Everbank Stadium. Would definitely rent again.

Good proximity for jaguar games

Really enjoyed the house and location for jaguars games. The property isn’t in the best area but is tucked away on a block that doesn’t see much foot or car traffic

Great stay

Property was roomy, clean and charming. We walked to the Jaguar game and also to a couple of restaurants. There were some places in the area that had many homeless; I would not walk alone or at night. We did feel safe in the house. The property was very convenient to downtown area, and had easy access to freeways. One suggestion, a binder or some written info about how to work tvs, showers etc in the house. Also suggestions on where to eat, breweries in the area. Host was extremely responsive and we enjoyed our stay.

As a native of Colorado, we have spent the last 40 years visiting Jacksonville multiple times a year to spend time with family. We have watched the community grow over the years and are thrilled to have this property as our second home.

You will find the home to be well equipped and full of unique period-appropriate art and furnishings passed down through our family. It is quirky, fun, comfortable welcoming, and we want you to feel at home.

In sharing our home with you we have chosen not to overwhelm you with rules and restrictions. This is your time away from home to relax with family and friends and our request is simple, please respect the property as it is historic and over 100 years old. If you have special requests or needs we are happy to work with you.

This property is perfect for family or friends' getaways. The house has multiple common areas and three separate large private bedrooms. The home is approximately 1700 square feet and has a main floor bedroom with two additional bedroom on the second floor.

The home is located at the east end of Historic Springfield off of the first street between Liberty and Walnut on a quiet street. This private home is centrally located on a quiet street close to the following points of interest:
