The whole group will enjoy easy access to everything from this centrally located 3,000 sq/ft beach home. This home has a very large floor plan for privacy and coming together, perfect for multiple families. Walking distance to many eateries such as Mexican, Chinese, Italian, American Pub, Wawa, Dunkin and more. Less than a mile from Delaware Bay FREE Dog Friendly Beaches and only 3 miles from Cape May Proper. Right down the street from Cape May Winery and Nauti Spirits and more. Acme nearby. Please be sure to add your dogs to the reservation so it will calculate the correct charge based on your stay. We permit up to 2 well behaved house broken dogs per stay.

Dog friendly and big!

I was so thankful they allowed us to bring our 3 dogs. We did have to clean up before settling but the owner was professional and relayed that to their cleaners. The electric kept flickering which worried us as some outlets seemed iffy but overall its not a bad place to stay.

Dog friendly, easy access to fenced in yard

The property as we rented it had 2 kitchens which was very convenient. One of the bedrooms had a door which led directly to the backyard making it easy to let the dog out. Lots of parking, with charging available for electric vehicles (15 amp or 14-50 outlet for those with portable chargers). We suggest the host provide some board games.

Family Wedding Stay

We used this property for the weekend we were attending a family wedding in Cape May. There were alternatives closer to the venue but they were a lot more expensive. The property had everything we needed: several bedrooms and bathrooms, and even several sitting areas for people who stay up later or get up earlier to have space. The furniture and decor was older but what mattered was just right: kitchen with a second refrigerator for drinks, coffee pods supplied, plenty of dishes and cups.

Friendsgiving was special this year in cape may

Our annual Friendsgiving can be challenging to coordinate since we have nine adults and all want a decent bedroom, which this lovely house provided. Everyone have their own space, privacy, and yet they were great common areas to watch TV and play games and eat a meal together. Tricia was a great host and was always very responsive. The place was perfect and in a great location! We enjoy the fire pit out in the backyard and it’s on a lovely street.

Family Vacation

Lots of space to enjoy with family or friends. The backyard provided plenty of space for dogs to enjoy. The house is in a great location. It’s close to shops, restaurants, and beaches but allows you to escape to a quiet neighborhood. If renting with young children, bring outlet covers. We found some outlets were unsafe or unusable because the plug would fall out of the outlet or was exposed. Overall though, it was a great vacation home which allowed all guests to have privacy when needed and ample room to create memories together.

Property 2820613

The house provides excellent sleeping arrangements for large family visits. It is in an older neighborhood with several homes in disrepair and poorly maintained. The location is not within walking distance to anything but a Wawa. You have to drive and find parking for all beach and tourist activities. During summer months the pool and hot tub would provide entertainment, but once you're at the house there's little else to do without driving or paying for transportation. And, most importantly, you must have your own streaming service to watch TVs. You can try using cable service via online transfer and access, but it will be intermittent and cut out regularly, requiring constant troubleshooting. The host is excellent and goes out of her way to ensure your stay is pleasant.

Mixed Impressions

Will start with positive- lovely host, very responsive and communicative. Was leery of separated common spaces, but that actually worked out nicely. (Used to bigger common spaces as would typically do OBX, but travel limitations this year so stayed local). Interior well maintained, clean, nice touch with beach towels. Great to have 2 kitchens and laundry. Beds all comfy, inside spaces versatile and comfortable. Slightly not kid friendly with outlets, broom and mop at end of kitchen cabinetry vs in an accessible closet. Missing doorknob to in law suite, but not a big deal.Outside not so clean, was raining on arrival day. Cushions on aging wicker furniture had puddles of water, and wicker was deteriorating, flaking off. That along with longer grass (I get it, had been raining so probably landscapers couldn’t mow?) led to attraction of mosquitoes, so hanging outside as planned was tough until a few days after check in. Once we could hang outside, yuck the table was really dirty (glass so easy enough to clean with disinfecting wipes), but was obvious hadn’t been cleaned in prep for our stay. Likewise, grill not at all well maintained.Greasy, grimy, brush not in good shape. Door to propane dislodged. But, 2 full tanks of propane and grill toppers helped. All in all, was more hopeful of nicer outdoor setting, and would have considered returning annually if it were more as pictured. Would expect more value for cost of this property with more potential.

Thank you Wendy for your honest feedback. You hit the nail on the head up until your stay and part of your stay was a 14 day straight of rain which makes an outdoor setting not as nice. We updated our wicker furniture last year but have now seen the sun damaged some so we will update further. As far as the outdoors, rain and pollen leave a film daily so even though we did wipe the outdoor furniture before your stay it quickly gets a film over it after wiping when there is this much rain and pollen. Sorry the weather affected your outdoor experience. We will continue to update anything in our control.
