Just listed!! Beautiful newly constructed home, designed for the perfect family get away. Located directly on the shore of Lake Superior and 13 miles to the Porcupine Mountain State Park. Close access to snowmobile and ATV trails, with onsite truck and trailer parking. The final touches are being added to make this a one of a kind find, construction will be completed and the home available for rent June 3, 2022. Beautiful Lake Superior location and spacious house. Plenty of room for all to relax and enjoy the view! Easy access to walking the stunning shoreline of Lake Superior. House was clean and comfortable, especially the sectional couch that sucks you in and you never want to leave it ;) COMFY !!! We would definitely come stay here again !!!

Very clean and great proximity to the beach and lake! Very good sized rooms and great open feeling and layout. Perfect place for the family to gather and get away!

We really enjoyed our stay. The view was incredible. We loved having the beach right there. The house was big enough for 3 families with several young kids. The host was super responsive too. Even before our stay, I was impressed. We had smoke alarms go off once (low batteries) and someone was there to address it within a few hours. The only complaint we had was that we wish the kitchen was a little more stocked. We were able to make do, but it was a little difficult trying to cook and grill with limited supplies. Overall we all enjoyed our fall stay and how central it was to everything we wanted to see.

Family fun on Lake Superior

Our family had a wonderful time. Spent most of our time at the house playing in the water and in the evening hunting yooper rocks which 6 of our group were successful. We went hiking in the porcupine mountains. Also went into Ontanogon several times for ice cream. The house had everything we needed, especially the air conditioning. We would recommend this property to everyone.

Beautiful place!

We so much enjoyed our stay here, the house was beautiful. Steps from the lake made it perfect! The hiking and the waterfalls were great. We will definitely plan another trip in the future, Jason was very nice and helpful with anything we needed.

Annual UP snowmobile trip

We spend 5 days each year in the UP snowmobiling at various locations. This was definitely one of the nicer places we stayed and the best location so far for trail access. It was also one of the more affordable VRBO's we found.

Beautiful location

We greatly enjoyed our family’s getaway for a long weekend. We couldn’t have asked for better weather in September! The home is beautiful and very well maintained. We spent a lot of time on the beach - even taking some dips in Lake Superior. S’mores on the beach were extra delicious! Would highly recommend this VRBO. We may be back😊

End of summer trip

Family Vacation

PURE Michigan Vacation!

This house and property are amazing! Super clean house, perfect layout and exceptional views of Lake Superior. Perfect location to Porcupine Mountains, many waterfalls, hiking trails and ORV trails. The private beach is perfect for watching the sunsets. Easy to communicate with the owner - very responsive. We look forward to coming back!

Nice view of Lake Superior

The house is lovely. The picture is older so there is a lot of vegetation that has grown up between the house and the beach. There is a small path though down to the beach. There is no storage for clothes besides closets. The family/living room is spacious with a nice view of Lake Superior. And the location is great for all kinds of activities.

Beautiful new home & setting

House was brand new & very clean just as pictures showed. Stocked kitchen, comfortable beds & tastefully decorated. Views of the lake were beautiful & sunsets were gorgeous. Flies can be pretty pesky when the winds were out of the South so bring bug spray. Jason was very responsive with questions. Overall a lovely home for a quiet weekend away!

Already booking again next year!

We had a great time! The house was lovely! We’d have loved some more storage (there weren’t any hangers or shelves/dressers. We also would have loved a pantry space to put our food for the week. That said, we loved it so much we already booked for next year! The location and layout of the property and house were just too awesome! Can’t wait for next year!!

South shore retreat

Truely relaxing and private location. Amazing sunsets, perfect view from lakeside fire pit or relaxing stroll on the beach. House is well planned out for groups but missing some extras : no beach toys, games or books but it’s a brand new place. Ideal location to porcupine mountains for hiking and waterfalls. Would rent again and bring more that 4 adults as it’s large enough for 2 families. Sandy beach with plenty of gravel for rock hounds. A great value.

End of Summer fun!

Our families enjoyed our stay at Lakeside Lookout! The open concept and layout of the home was great for our two families staying at the property. The wifi came in handy as cell coverage was very spotty, which was expected. Spent most of the week at the beach kids enjoyed the water, searching for rocks, sea glass, and "yooper stones". Bring your water shoes as the first 10ft have some good size rocks. Great location for trips to porcupine mountains for some hiking and close to Ontonagon shops if you forgot something. We will deffinetly rent again if in the area.
