Our home offers a a spacious lower floor in a bright home located high on a hill with expansive views of both Lake Coeur d'Alene and Lake Fernan. Only 10 minutes from the center of downtown. Both sunrises and sunsets are daily visual treats. Our neighborhood is quiet and traffic is sparse.
"Note": Hosts live on the upper floor and are available to offer assistance, friendly interaction or complete privacy as guests desire.

This is place is fabulous! The view from the deck is unbeatable and the hosts were very kind and hospitable. The house is very comfortable and was perfect for our family of 4. We would 100% recommend and will stay there again next time we are in Coeur d'Alene!

Fantastic place to stay, the view makes it all worth it! Glen and his wife have a lovely home that is well maintained and cared for. The home is well furnished and comfortable, four adults had ample room to spread out and relax. But we all wanted to be on the deck with the 180 deg view of Fernan Lake and Lake CDA! A much needed and very relaxing stay, looking forward to returning.

Fabulous deck and view!

Long time friends, three couples, met here for a relaxing weekend. We couldn't get enough of the fresh air and lovely view from the deck. This space was just right for the 6 of us. Kitchen was great, beds are very comfortable!

Fantastic place

Everything about this property was perfect from the house, to the stocked kitchen, to the incredible view. Owners were great and so nice making sure we had what we needed when we got there. I couldn’t recommend this place more.

Wonderful stay on a hill overlooking Fernan Lake and Lake CDA! We even saw fireworks from the deck! The home was bright, clean, comfortable, with lovely decor and furnishings. Ideal location very close to town attractions and amenities but not in the thick of the crowds. Also well situated for the short drive to excellent bike trails— the Trail of the Hiawatha and the Trail of the Coeur d’Alenes. The home and hot tub provided us the place we needed to rest and relax before and after our bike rides.

Perfect stay

Can’t wait for another vacation trip back! Great location and what a view!! Loved being up in the mountains with a view of both lakes yet only a short drive to downtown. Back deck overlooking lake is made for relaxing with some morning coffee! Highly recommend this spot. Very clean and comfortable. Glen is perfect host.

Amazing property and view!

The property is better than advertised. Great kitchen, three nice bedrooms, spacious family area. The deck is huge, the views are stunning. I spent a week there with my three teenage daughters and nobody wanted to go home. Great location, 10 mins to downtown CDA, would highly recommend. Hosts were very nice and made sure our stay was enjoyable. Couldn’t image a better place to stay.

Spacious With a VIEW!

3 friends and myself, had a stay over the weekend for a golf trip at The Resort. Such an amazing view from the property! Easily accessible, and close to anything you need. Glen was more than courteous, and made sure we were comfortable during the whole stay. The property was all we hoped for and more. Hopefully we can book this same location next year, or even sooner! Worth every penny!

Great place

I briefly considered giving fewer stars for the ‘accuracy of listing’ but since it was better than listed that didn’t seem fair😂 The views were incredible!!! Glen was great. Laundry soap was running low and he brought us more 5 min later! Sitting in the hot tub with great views is an awesome way to end the day!!! Location was great. Only 5-10 min to downtown. 15 min to where we rented a boat for the day. Just far enough away you feel away from it all. And close enough to get anywhere quickly. Highly recommend!!!

We didn’t want to leave.

The property was so much more spacious than we anticipated. The beds and bedding, linens, and towels were A+ quality. All bathroom, laundry, and kitchen essentials were provided. The living area was relaxing and comfortable. I cook, so I appreciated the well-equipped kitchen. The deck and the garden were lovely, but the best part of the property was the view. We watched birds fly above the lake daily, and bald eagles and hawks soared above the trees. There are wild turkeys in the neighborhood; I love watching the wildlife. The owners lived upstairs and were very careful not to disturb us. I wish I had time to hang out with Mary and Glenn; they are fantastic,

Amazing Views and Accomdations!

Simply AWESOME! I won't ever stay anywhere else when we go back. To wake up every morning and appreciate the amazing views was incredible. My guests and I couldn't stop taking pictures and saying, "this is sooooo beautiful." If you like nature and feeling like you're living in the middle of it then this place is perfect for you. Here's what we loved and I imagine you'll love it too: -Views of the lake and mountains either inside your living space or outdoors on the deck. - The jacuzzi and the outdoor eating and lounging spaces with plenty of seating. -Being away from the busyness of the city by only 5-10 minutes. -Tons of dresser and closet space in each of the bedrooms. It was a super easy drive to anywhere and well worth the quietness and peace of staying up in the hills. My other family members got a place not too far way and they all wanted to come and hang out at our place. The owners are upstairs and about the best people you could find in the world! They aren't nosey but available should you ever need them. They let me wash my bike after we did the hiawatha trail. The bbq was fantastic and easy to use. We found everything we needed to serve up some tritip and salads etc for dinners. If you're a cyclist you'll love the easy of jumping on the bike and enjoying quiet and beautiful roads to travel for miles on. The only thing I would say to take into consideration when staying here would be that there is one bathroom for three bedrooms. It has two vanities and is beautiful but if you know you can't share a bathroom with your other guests then maybe this would change your mind. We never had any issues at all though and I found it completely adequate. Overall...you know where my family and I will be staying when we go back!
